Great food and service
Amazing meal and excellent service!!
The Parkside continues to provide great food and tremendous service. Consistently one of the best values in Providence.
Honestly it was just OK. There’s a lot of choices in PVD and this wouldn’t be my first. It was good but doesn’t exceed expectations. Service was subpar even though the restaurant was empty on a Friday night. Drinks were way too strong. Food was good but was average.
One of our good places in Providence. You can't go wrong at Parkside.
The temperature in the restaurant was much too cool. I had my jacket over my shoulders the entire evening!
Great New Years Eve dinner with the exception of a ceasar salad that was a total disappointment. Otherwise a full five star experience
As always, great selection and excellent presentation. We’ve never had a bad experience at Parkside.
Our family of 4 went for a New Year’s eve dinner. We were seated right away. All of our meals were excellent. The calamari and octopus appetizers were fresh and tender. The chutney that came with a calamari really made the dish. My husband had the seafood special which was swordfish. He loved it. I had the Lemon and Cashew chicken. The chicken was nice and moist. We will definitely be dining here again!
We love Parkside. Food is generally delicious although my husband’s pork chop was dry this time. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed but another waiter picked up the slack and made sure we had a dessert menu. Delicious apple tart ala mode . All in all lovely evening.
Food was good and our waiter was extremely attentative, not bothersome. Excellent evening.
Food very salty. Empty restaurant very poor service.
We love Parkside. You can always count on a great dining experience provided by a fantastic serving staff. The food is out of this world and prices more reasonably than “fancy“ restaurants that deliver for less value. Which is not to say Parkside is anything short of a very fancy joint.
Was a great birthday thanks to good food, good service and good company.
The food was great and the server was friendly. The setting was nice and great for a date night or anniversary. The food was on the expensive side but that's expected for this type of restaurant. Finding parking was a huge downside.
We were there on a busy Saturday night in December. Our reservation was for 6 people, but a friend showed up and wanted to join us. Staff converted our table to 7 with a smile and no complaints. Service has been excellent every time I have been there. Food is fresh, and there's something for everyone.
Romaine lettuce recall still had Caesar salad being made with endive and mixed greens, so we opted for the crab cake appetizer which was perfect for sharing as well as delicious. Special entrée that night was grilled swordfish with a scallion cake and asparagus and presented very nicely. Double pork chop cooked to perfection but too huge to finish in one sitting. No room for dessert, just a glass of port.
Noise level was not energetic it was ridiculously loud and could not hear the waiter. seating was tight and felt like we were dining with the neighboring tables and front kiosk. Waiter was great but food service was rushed-- Each course was brought out before finishing the previous. Chicken with cashews had no cashews. In and out in an hour (and not by choice)
My wife and I went to Parkside with a couple friends for a celebratory golf dinner. Under our rather arcane rules, I won the trophy but bought the meal. We asked for a quiet-ish table and were seated at a nice table near the back of the restaurant.
Three of us ordered rotisserie chicken. I had a farfalle special. The meals were fabulous. The chicken cooked perfectly, moist but done correctly. The farfalle excellent! Atmosphere festive, good vibe but quiet enough for conversation, great food. We loved it.
The service was not great. We were never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. Our water glasses were never refilled. I had to ask for the side salad that was supposed to be a part of my entree. We had to ask for silverware to be delivered to the table when our entrees were served as someone had removed all of it after appetizers were cleared.
Great place for an even greater Sunday dinner! Food was delicious, and the restaurant was somewhat quiet on a Sunday. Perfect is the word all round!
An enjoyable culinary experience awaits you in an intimate but not cramped Parkside restaurant and bar with a well thought out menu and a friendly and informed staff. Plenty of parking options and valet parking as well in a great neighborhood for after dinner strolls.. weather permitting.
Great restaurant - food is superb and will most certainly be my go to for Providence dining !
Did not receive the usual attentive service from our server. Had a French fry in a pasta dish that did not belong (though it ended up being tasty!).
This is a great little spot. Food is expertly and carefully prepared. Presentation is beautiful! Wait staff is knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.
My entree was outstanding. Rich with flavor with pickled cranberries and maple syrup, brussel sprouts and pork medallions wrapped in bacon. Amazing! The wine selected by our waiter is now one of my new favorites. Loved it. We will be back. It is a bit pricey though but did not walk away disappointed.
Overall our dinners were excellent. My steak et frites - steak was great - sliced perfectly and medium rare as I had ordered it - The frites interesting and very thin -( didn’t have much taste) . Creamed corn side had a nice kick and delicious with toasted bread crumbs. The Apple Tart is always delicious and perfect to share for at least 3 people.
Ok spot. We were stuck by the grill station. Mill street tavern is much better
Had lunch with my daughter and it was fantastic, quick and delicious.
Friends in from NYC & they enjoyed the food and ambiance of the Parkside.
My wife and I had not been to the Parkside recently, so it was good for us to visit and enjoy a nice Sunday night meal.
Just a very nice restaurant, great service & food, totally worth it to have dinner and drinks.
The service there is amazing and the food is always great what we love about this restaurant is that it is super consistent and they have valet parking. Food is always good I have never had a bad experience there and the service is impeccable. I love the butternut squash scallop Gnocchi dish...It is amazing. Their crème brûlée is also to die for. By far my favorite restaurant in Providence Rhode Island.
This was our first visit and definitely will not be our last. Our server Cheryl was great. We had the following: grilled pizza for app - salty & delicious. Main courses were the halibut special & the filet special with a bacon cream sauce. Both cooked perfectly. Each of us had 2 glasses of wine that we paired with our app & main dish. Cheryl gave us some good recommendations. Unfortunately, we were so full that we didn’t have dessert which would’ve been the dessert special - pumpkin cheesecake! If we were not going out, we would’ve gotten it to go!!! Thank you Parkside.
Very nice last minute dining experience! Thank you!!
Restaurant did not post the promised OpenTable points.
Duck salad was delicious. Restaurant was pretty loud for the number of people there.
one of our favorites ! does it right every time. cant wait to go back.
Awesome dinner! Great service. Food was excellent!
Absolutely amazing place
