Parkshore Grill Ratings and Reviews
The food and service was very good. There are many food choices and if you arrive before 6, there is an exceptional "picnic" menu from 11-6 daily that includes salad, entree and dessert. The waiters are friendly and helpful. We had a reservation for 4 and were seated immediately.
I took my mother there for Thanksgiving and the food was excellent; the service was a little on the slow side, but considering it was a holiday it was nothing to really complain about. It was also a bit loud, but overall we had an excellent time. I would definitely go back again!!
Parkshore never disappoints. We escaped for Thanksgiving as my husband has not been well. The turkey dinner was outstanding, more than you could do at home from scratch. Chef Tyson does it again. The roasted vegetables had little pearl onions, brussel sprouts and more. The turkey was moist and tender and the cranberry sauce was homemade and the best yet. It's our favorite place but this year the meal was extra good.
Exquisite. The finest outdoor dining in a city where outdoor dining is everywhere. Want to be indoors, the very best as well. My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed the finest Thanksgiving fare a family could ever ask for from a restaurant. The menu here is wonderful, not pompous or overdone. Simple, yet executed by the professional chefs here with precision and flair. The staff is wonderful, caring, and take every extra step making everyone feel welcome and deserving of the best. There aren't enough words to describe the overall joy of Parkshore Grill. I encourage my friends, engineers, and road warriors from my business to visit here as often as humanly possible.
Parkshore Grill has a very LOUD jovial environment! We went there for my husbands Birthday on 17Nov17 and when I made the reservation I was asked if we were celebrating anything to which I replied, yes, a Birthday. No one ever acknowledged my husbands Birthday. Our server, Kay, walked by our table while my husband was opening Birthday cards and we even had a wrapped Birthday Gift on the table with a bow, and even tho she walked by our table several times and looked at our table she never asked if we were celebrating anything. We were also assigned a tiny little booth where you barley have room for your butt and your purse. Our server Kay was pretty cold. My dinner was ok, I got 4 Sea scallops and a pile of spinache. My husband ordered the rack of Lamb and for $42. he literally got four Lambchops and nothing else. Not a single vegetable was on his plate. It was overpriced. A glass of 12 year scotch was $17. The Parkshore Grill does not provide a nice environment if you are looking for something romantic. I would compare it to a overpriced Stonewood. We were not impressed and we will not return there. And I did not even mention that parking was an absolute nightmare! Beware!
Overall we enjoyed our dinner with friends. The service was great and the wine and drinks were very good. The atmosphere is great both in the dining room and out on the sidewalk. The food was just o.k., not bad, not great. We were surprised since we’ve eaten lunch there on several occassions and always had excellent food. The seafood medley was good, but served on a cold plate that took something away from it. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect crab cake and the one I got wasn’t it. The scallops were fine, but again nothing special. The rolls and salads were all very good. The food presentation was excellent. We’ll go back again for dinner to give it another try from a food quality perspective.
Everything was superb including the wonderful service from Kate and another server, Aaron, who remembered us from when he first started a few months ago.
The complimentary dessert for our anniversary was exquisite.
This restaurant can't be beat for a special occasion.
We joined parkshore grill for brunch and really enjoyed ourselves. We sat outside with a beautiful view of the water and we had an amazing Server, Scott. He was extremely knowledgeable and just a pleasure to have brunch with. When we are in Tampa next, we will be sure to go back and sit with Scott.
What a fun and delicious dining experience with good friends. I would highly recommend the Parkshore for a group or date night. The Chefs special dishes were ordered by our table and were a big hit. Our server was exceptional with service while not being too constant a presence.
I always enjoy the Parkshore Grill. My friend ordered the scallops and loved them. I ordered the Lobster Pasta which was too rich and too heavily sauces for my taste. It needs an acidic component or perhaps crunchy bread.
Our server was excellent and attentive.
Lovely setting, European in nature. Food choices were varied and interesting. Wine list extensive. Food choices were all prepared exceptionally well. Service was impeccable, our waiter was extremely informed on the menu. Pacing of food delivery was well done.
We ate at an outdoor table. Fun for people watching and quiet for conversation. My scallops were excellent with a side of spinach. My date had salmon with a unique side of what I think were fried meat chunks. Fish was excellent, not sure about the meat chunks. Unusual side to say the least. Service was superior. Not a cheap dinner.
We took some friends to Parkshore for dinner. They came over from Tampa to join us downtown and enjoy the evening . Everyone loved their meal. I especially like the atmosphere . It is relaxed , upscale dining at a very reasonable price. We dine there frequently and usually take our visitors there. If you haven't yet tried it I highly recommend it.
