Susan is amazing!! We've had her before as our waitress, and we were so pleased to see her again before you guys have to close for the new restrictions. She is so nice and thorough. They have nailed the spacing here, with ample room between tables and customers. The food is outstanding, drinks delicious and service is impeccable. One of our very favorites - we especially enjoy the bar area when the pianist is there. So glad they are open!

This was our second visit to Parker’s and the service was incredible and the food amazing yet again. Brittney was our server who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the food. She could even explain how the size of the oyster impacts their flavor and texture and why they are the size and shape they are. We will return many times over to Parker’s.

We had an remarkable experience. From the ambiance, service and quality of the food. Great menu and we loved the decor/look of the dining area. Our waitress, May, was excellent and informative.
Wish there was a way for restaurants to alert diners to a coming service giver. It's a scramble to get the mask back on.

We were there celebrating our son's 21st birthday and to be honest, it was our first "inside" meal we had out. What a great night we all had. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with such a friendly vibe. Once we sat down all the nervousness was gone. It was almost like we had our own private expierence due to the distancing of other guests. Our server was great along with all the other staff members. The manager came up and wished our son a happy birthday and asked how we were doing. What I really loved was that everytime a party was finished and left, staff would clean the table and wipe down every chair. It really gave me piece of mind during this crazy time. Thanks for a great night/memories for myself and my family!

Great to get out of the house and to our favorite restaurant! Five stars all around, as usual. However, the 2 star rating doesn’t come lightly. Why the two stars? On Parker’s website, they explained their safety protocol in detail, and we felt safe and sure based upon that. Upon arrival, hostesses were masked and we were shown to our table... and tables were placed very far apart. All good. (We remained masked except to eat.). However, while wait staff was masked, only the server who brought our plates was gloved. Drinking glasses and beverages were grasped and brought with bare hands. More disconcerting was the fact that one of the chefs we observed throughout dinner kept his mask below his nose, and often simply had it down around his neck. He was also conversing with staff from time to time, so they most definitely were aware, but said nothing to him. Hopefully they’ll rectify this and make it the perfect dining experience we’ve come to expect from Parker’s over the years.

We were very happy with the meal. We sat outside and the ambiance was great. We enjoyed some of our favorites. Only negative feedback is that the mashed potatoes that evening seemed a little runny. Not a huge problem, just not what we expected.

Parker’s always has wonderful service but we especially enjoy their wait staff in the bar. Add Carmen Stokes on piano and vocals and you get why we spent our 39th anniversary at Parker’s. By far Downers Grove’s best dining experience.

Parker’s is great even though they dropped the ice cream tower and bread pudding. Lol.
What ruined our evening was a woman sitting at a table next us that was hacking and coughing for the first hour we were there.
She had no mask on and didn’t even cover her mouth when she coughed ever 20 seconds.
It ruined our meal that’s for sure.
No fault of Parker’s.

This is a typical location for our business meal with the three partners. The menu items always have excellent range of choices and this remains true even with the pandemic-simplified menu.

Seafood may be their strength but the lamb chops deserve praise.
Service is always pleasant and never an issue.
Strongly recommended for a friends get-together.
If you haven’t been here before it can certainly be a special occasion.

The hostess who seated us never told us about the on-line menu, so we sat for fifteen minutes until we finally saw our waitress who told us. Thirty two minutes for the first drink to arrive. One place setting was not initially provided. Dirty dishes sat on the table for long periods. I waived down our aloof waitress who put an order in the system instead of come to the table. Very long wait times between courses. This was probably our tenth dinner at Parker’s, but will be our last until their Coronacation is over.

Food was absolutely fabulous. My lovely wife and I had our 20th anniversary dinner.

My family and I (there were 8 of us) went to Parker's for the first time. I was very happy with the food, service and ambience.

There was safe distancing between tables and the staff all wore face masks.

We would go back to Parker's to celebrate special occasions.

Social distancing was observed, we felt comfortable with that. We had the 10ounce filet, it was perfectly cooked. Medium rare is difficult on a thick piece of beef but the cook did it just right, red not purple in the center. Also came with sautéed vegetables which were perfectly cooked that is blazing hot but crispy not soggy. Thanks to the cooks.

We were a party of 6 and there were perhaps only half of the tables normally there due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Our waitress was great. We had the pizza, polenta fries and the cheese plate for appetizers and two of us had the lobster bisque, all were very good and the presentation of the lobster bisque is a nice touch. We had a grilled scallops dish, a lobster roll, the cheeseburger, strip steak and two filets. All of our entries were excellect. I do not know how we had room for the desserts that we had. We also had a couple of cappicinos with dessert, something I always like to top of a great meal.

Trying to get used to the new abnormal regarding eating at restaurants....many now have limited offerings on their menus and we miss not being able to have some of our favorite items!!
What Parker’s did offer was very good - we started out with some raw oysters: then I had the bouillabaisse and my husband had the fish special. We enjoyed some wine and also had a key lime torte!

Had the monchong on a cedar plank w sautéed spinach and mashed. Excellent. May gave us great service.

Parkers is one of my favorites! The salmon dish is outstanding, especially all the flavors of the rice and vegges mingling together with lovely fish. Unfortunately I tried the lamb chops this time. There was actually very little meat on the chops and a lot of fat. I know this is how the chops come, but these had less edible portion than I have ever seen. The veggie side was too small and not very tasty.

We had a lovely dinner & evening at Parker’s Grill. Our sever, Marianna, was efficient and very pleasant. The cedar planked Whitefish and Sea Bass we’re perfectly cooked and delicious. We will be back!

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. The service was friendly and our food was delicious. We were surprised with a special anniversary dessert, which was also excellent. We will be back.
