Wonderful ambience in the fireplace room where we were seated. Whiskey Cocktails were delicious and our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks, and very attentive with the service. The food was tasty, however, we found the portions for the cost to be on the small side. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.
All four of us had excellent food and service.
Food as always was very good...we always enjoy the cuisine (we are locals, and therefore, semi-regulars at Parkers). However, this time, we were bombarded throughout dinner by small gnat like insects. We were not the only ones experiencing this issue, as I heard the table immediately to my right complaining about the same problem. If we were eating outside on the patio, that is a risk you assume. But dining during the month of January 2020...indoors in the dining room...totally unacceptable, particularly at Parkers' prices. I emailed the restaurant about the problem immediately that evening, alerting them to the issue, and have not received any response from them whatsoever. Since they apparently are not courteous enough to provide an apology and response, I have no recourse except to provide this open and honest email in response to your invitation for comments about our dining experience. Very disappointing.
Great menu to choose from and food is excellent.
My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary tonight. The food, ambience and service was fantastic. Our server was wonderful. Everything was timed perfectly. We continue to return to Parkers for their excellent service and great food. Thank you for another wonderful evening. Although we both have had several delicious entrees, my favorite is their Scallops and the Carmel parfait for dessert.
Wonderful selection of drinks, beer, and wine. The crab cakes were among the best we have ever had outside of our home in Virginia. They were fresh, tasty, and a good portion size. We also had the scallops. They were large and perfectly cooked. Our server was friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good experience.
The problem was the have a insect problem
Parker's is always a great place for a nice dinner/lunch out where the food is well prepared and you don't need a bullhorn to talk to others at your table.
great food and music. We will be back soon! Thank you
Overall it was good but the restaurant had little fruit flies or gnats around food not very good :-(
The seafood was excellent. The server was very hospitable and attentive. We had a wonderful dining experience.
One word. Great 💥
Love everything about this place! Cozy bar, great food and a fabulous wait staff.....who can ask for more?
This was my fifth visit in the last two years - so I'm an obvious fan. AND... as the four of us walked in, I was reminded how warm and inviting the place is - in spite of its rather large size. The wedge salad is a go-to starter (don't want to spoil the surprise, but I promise you'll find it a cut above). We also were delighted by the grilled octopus we shared alongside our wedges. As for our entrees, the Australian Lamb was the standout (perfectly prepared) while the swordfish special and the lobster linguine were solid but short of noteworthy. The downside of our visit was a VERY well intended waiter who suffered a series of errors throughout the evening - mostly by forgetting small details such as a promise to bring a few section of cut lime or presenting a 2nd glass of sauv blanc when a glass of pinot noir had been ordered in its place. One or two of these errors would be inconsequential, but a series such as we witnessed is truly unfortunate at such a fine establishment.
Nick was incredible! Thanks so much for an awesome evening!
The atmosphere was good, the service was fine, but the salmon was an overcooked end cut and very small portion, the spinach covered the plate. Would never know you were eating at a restaurant that speciality is fish. Won’t be coming back!
Always a great experience with excellent food a d service. Tim and his staff are the best. We really enjoyed the jazz group in the bar after dinner. It was New Year’s Eve so it was a special treat.
Parkers is our frequent go to restaurant. Tops in food and service.
A little on the pricey side, but it's worth the food options and the atmosphere. It has a lounge for more casual dining or a back area that it more private and quiet. I really enjoyed myself.
The horseradish encrusted salmon was delicious. The service friendly, helpful and not obtrusive. I would rate Parker’s as excellent (it’s just semantics maybe, but “outstanding” is reserved for “spectacular,” the best I’ve ever experienced). Parker’s is a favorite!; reliable, welcoming, the kind you can take best friends to for enjoyable dining.
Everything was great. As I marked in food, service, ambiance and all.
Went on a date at Parkers’. It was a great first date location. Can be dressed up or casual. Great service and great food! Definitely would recommend.
Loved our Christmas Eve Dinner. Nick, our server was terrific. Everything regarding the service and food was outstanding....Wish we could have had a different table...I dropped off my family at the door and then parked the car.....when I came back they were already seated at our reserved table (reservation made in October) right by the kitchen....obviously we could have spoke to mgmt. regarding another table but my crew "didn't want to make a fuss"...(although they mentioned it 5 times:)) so I went with the crowd.....other than that...it was great.
We enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner at Parkers and could not have asked for a more wonderful evening. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable but not intrusive. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the evening together. Everyone left more than satisfied and we couldn’t thank parkers enough for starting our very merry Christmas!
Went for dinner on Christmas Eve and is was an excellent meal. Will be back for Christmas Eve 2020. Thank you.
Christmas Eve dinner! Delicious
Nice place to celebrate our joyful occasion. Service was excellent, food was excellent, and was a joyful celebration.
Beautiful holiday decorations and wonderful food!
Our server Nick was outstanding. Knowledgeable of the menu, made considerate recommendations. He was attentive and witty without being over the top.
Two entree’s had to be sent back for being raw. Second time this has happened to us. Waitress seemed to be pushing us. We live right down the street and go there often. We have had good meals here but the last two times where not so hot. For the price I will look for alternatives.
Great service, lovely space, good food...
Server named Brittany was great. Food always good.
Back room is a little noisy.
We had a great server! Food was great and we had a very nice time.
Great service, really good food.
The lamb chops we amazing. The service exceptional. And we love the ambiance.. A large restaurant that feels cozy.
The kitchen seems really to have ramped up its game. The evening special was deliciously prepared. Brittany, our server, was on point with her recommendations, and especially confident about wine pairings with the food.
Our server Newton was wonderful. Food was fantastic. Just wish it wasn't so noisy...although all restaurants seem to be so. I am a long time customer at Parker's and will surely continue that!
We have been regulars at Parkers for many years, and have never been disappointed until I hosted a birthday lunch yesterday. Granted, it was a busy holiday lunchtime, but we have dined in the height of madness on Christmas eve, with stellar service and superior food. Yesterday was a disaster. The salads ordered by my friends looked like holdovers from the weekend, with re-cooked steak and soggy lettuce. The spinach sautee was limp baby spinach without the buttery garlic stir we've enjoyed in the past. The oysters were abnormally tiny (one looked as if it was a re-serve from a previous order). All was presented in thoughtless, haphazard fashion. Drinks came 20-30 minutes after being ordered, salad dressing was forgotten, the waiter had to be asked for. I don't know if the chef was out or the manager on vacation, but I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a restaurant we've loved forever. Because of our past experience, we'll give it another try. But if this was a first-time dining experience for me, I would not be back. I'm sure my friends won't be back.
We have always love the bar atmosphere, booths. However I would not recommend the lobster tail and linguini. The tail was very mushy and the pasta sauce was just ok. I didn’t take leftovers home which is extremely rare for me.
