A semi-private dining room, separated from the rest of the restaurant by a few feet, but not closed off by a door. This carpeted space with two parallel banquettes, tends to be quieter and also has beautiful window tables.View Private Dining Details
Food was good. Soft shell crabs were very greasy. Halibut was excellent. Service was very good. A little noisy, but not so bad that you couldn’t hear table conversation.
The food was very good, the prices were ridiculous.
I visited Parkers for a business lunch with a few people and I was a little impressed. I thought I'd return for dinner on my anniversary and was very disappointed. I made my reservation throughout table and indicated it was our 7th wedding anniversary and to my disappointment our server made no mention of our special day. My husband's meal was great (boneless short ribs). My spinach was very salty. Both wines I asked for were not available due to stock not being delivered so I settled for something else. Needless to say, I was not happy. The vibe from the server was not a welcoming one so we will not be back to dine at this establishment. And I have already shared my concerns with friends.
We waited a long time for service. Drinks, apps and dinner took a long time. Plus they were out of a few items.
Food was outstanding, been here st least 4
Times and never ever had a bad meal.
The staff was fantastic
The service was exceptional. It is a good place for special occasions.
the place was wonderful, she had a great time. We're looking forward to another great time there.
A lovely Mother's Day brunch. A wonderful assortment of various dishes, breakfast and lunch, especially enjoyed the salads and seafood. Crab legs yum! Will return next year.
Great Mother’s Day lunch.
Always an excellent dining experience!
I took my aunt out to lunch at Parkers' Restaurant and Bar for her 90th birthday, and it couldn't have been a more wonderful experience. Newton, our server, was excellent from the minute we arrived until we left. We both had the Lake Superior Whitefish and we both have dietary restrictions, which Newton patiently recorded. I requested my fish grilled without seasonings. My aunt requested her fish sautéed. Everything came out exactly as we had requested, so kudos to Newton and the chef. The fish was superb! Neither my aunt nor I could order the Garlic Sauteed Spinach, so my aunt ordered a side salad and I ordered the grilled asparagus, which was delicious......crisp and very flavorful. I had mentioned my aunt's birthday beforehand, and when we were done with lunch, Newton brought out a Key Lime Pie with Graham Cracker Crust, beautifully plated on a white plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate, and berry garnish. I wish I had taken a picture for this review. The presentation was simply exquisite and my aunt loved it! My compliments to the pastry chef. The restaurant was full when we got there at 1:00 PM, but I was never aware that it was noisy or too loud for conversation. I highly recommend Parkers' for anytime, but especially for a special occasion. And my thanks to Newton for making my aunt's birthday lunch very memorable!!
Again. Parkers never disappoints! I went here for my birthday with a friend who had never been here before. I had the 10 oz filet mignon and he had the Halibut which was a seasonal special. Both of us were maxed out on a tastebud fiesta that couldn't be beat! The homemade flat bread crackers are to die for, I could make a meal just out of those! My filet was done medium rare perfectly. The halibut was melt in your mouth. The Pignot Noir that Sue recommended was smooth and lovely and a perfect pairing with my filet. Sue had fantastic timing on everything and offered great tidbits too, for eg, how the flatbread is handmade and she even gave me extra to take home. The bread pudding was very good if that's your thing. I am not a fan of bread pudding so it was just " meh" for me, but for my friend, he was really enjoying it. Parkers hit a home run for my birthday ( again!) and this visit was the creme de la creme to an already wonderful birthday. Thank you Sue and Parkers staff!
The food and service were very good. I always look forward to getting a very nice fish meal from Parkers.
Very good experience overall as usual. Good food, good service. Only negative was that we had to wait about 15 minutes for our 7:30 pm reservations.
Food cooked to perfection, excellent service. The bread pudding is to die for!
As always the food and service were spot on!
We dine here frequently and is always great food and service.
Delicious seafood menu!
Accompanying vegetables items were wonderful as well!
Outstanding service from our waiter.
Maybe try to get seated in the bar for the live music.
It was a fun night....and we will be back:)
Having lived in the area for many years, this was my first visit to Parker's. The restaurant offerings and the service did not disappoint.
I was with a party of 3 celebrating a birthday. Each of us ordered a different meal, along with some appetizers, and wine. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was Richard and he provided excellent service along with the assistant servers.
It is a little pricey, but the excellent food and amenities are well worth the cost. I highly recommend celebrating any special occasion at Parker's.
Fish portions were a little small but very good.
Everything was great.
Food quality and ambiance is amazing. Will recommend the cedar white fish. I went there for my wife’s birthday dinner and mentioned the occasion on open table. The restaurant was notified and they surprised her with a very beautiful birthday cake towards the end.
Beautiful place. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We will return.
We had a couple with us who had never been to Parkers. They loved it.
Can't go wrong, the food and service is perfect every time!
We started with a bottle of wine. Our server presented the bottle, opened it and poured me to taste it. That went well, although she spilled a couple of drops onto the menu and table when pouring into our glasses (both my wife’s and mine). For appetizer we ordered the crispy calamari to share. Our server wanted to take our entree order at the same time. I started to say something about not wanting to be rushed but she said she just wanted to get the menus off the table to provide us more space, and she would not put the order in until we finished our appetizer. The calamari was good but much more crispy than we expected; we both agreed we preferred our calamari prepared in a more traditional way.
My wife ordered the beet salad which was excellent, and I ordered the Shrimp/crab bisque. The presentation of the bisque was nice; they brought a bowl with a lump of something in the center and a pitcher of liquid which they then poured into the bowl - very nice. Only drawback was the bowl size was quite large and deep and it was a little difficult to properly eat the soup, although I managed. The only drawback was the salad and soup arrived within a few minutes of us finishing the calamari.
For our main course, my wife had the special (Halibut prepared on a cedar plank), and I had the crab cakes. Both were excellent. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had (and I have tried the crab cakes at many restaurants). The only drawback was we had just finished our soup and salad when the main course arrived. Once we finished the main course our server brought us a nice key lime pie dessert to share. It was on a plate that said “Happy Anniversary”. Nice touch.
The two problems we encountered were:
1. We felt rushed; were not offered coffee or after dinner aperitif.
2. Our server, while efficient, was not pleasant. She never smiled, and only summarily acknowledged our anniversary when she set the dessert down on the table - very disappointing.
Anniversary dinner. Delicious. Great service but a little loud.
Easter brunch was very good and the ability to order from their menu was greatly appreciated.
We have been going to Parker’s for Easter Brunch for at least the past 5 years and many other occasions. Sadly this year we were disappointed. The food was located in the bar and actually on the bar itself making it difficult for the wait staff to get through with drinks. The burner for the made to order omelettes was dangerously close to where ladies and girls in their pretty dresses had to pass by to get desserts (which were strangely next to the seafood offerings)
The selection of the food although tasty had far fewer options (no seafood stew!) and the display was not very appealing
While I will continue to come here for other meals as it IS one of my favourite restaurants, I will hesitate next year for Easter Brunch
Celebrating my husband’s birthday along with another couple .... we had Oysters Rockefeller, Cesar Salad, Beet Salad, Clam Chowder, Grilled Pork Chop, Mahi Mahi Special, Bouillabaisse and Short Ribs....and EVERYTHING was wonderful.
We had great food which consisted of filet mignon and king salmon. Cooked correctly and tasted great. Had a great wine list too.
The food is great! The waiters are great as well. We enjoy this restaurant very much.
Always great when we dine here. Service was attentive but not overwhelming which is exactly what we want. I had the redfish special. Was cooked to perfection and the spinach, sauce and potatoes were a perfect compliment. There may be better restaurants but If you dine here you won’t be sorry
My wife and I really enjoyed the meal, service, overall a great value. But please--have them turn down the lights. The halogen lights over the tables way too bright! Makes it difficult to enjoy a romantic evening.
I have been meaning to visit Parker’s for years. This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful choosing our wine.
Although it is a little pricey for every day dining, It is certainly worth it. We will be back
The food and drinks were wonderful. Our server was so nice and helpful. We sat in the bar area during their live Jazz night and it was great. Awesome place for a date night. Their bar was impressive also.
Lovely meal that was served promptly so it was as hot as fish should be! The kitchen graciously accommodated a lactose intolerance and provided a delicious substitution. Dessert was beautiful to look at, tasty, and decked out with a clever tall candle for the birthday celebration. We will return soon!
service and staff were excellent, everything that we ordered from appetiser to dinner was supurb!!!
Excellent service and the lobster Mac blew my wife’s mind!
