Parkers' Restaurant & Bar
A semi-private dining room, separated from the rest of the restaurant by a few feet, but not closed off by a door. This carpeted space with two parallel banquettes, tends to be quieter and also has beautiful window tables.View Private Dining Details
Our first time dining here but will definitely be back. Great food from beginning to end also service top notch. So nice to dine at a place with such a personal feel yet fine dining at its best
Excellent service by Conrad. Food was delicious and well prepared to order. Disappointed that the Ice Cream Tower is missing from the dessert menu.
Excellent seafood selection. Everything we had was excellent. Waitstaff was very helpful and attentive without being pushy or in the way.
Excellent restaurant; I've visited several times and have always enjoyed both the meal and the service. Would recommend this restaurant.
Always a great place dine. Friendly staff. Great attention to detail - provided a birthday acknowledgement for my wife. Really good food and wine
Nice attention to detail; awesome and flavorful food. Great options.
The hallmark of a great restaurant...consistency and excellence.
Everything was great, across the board.
We really enjoyed our dinner. It was very well prepared and perfectly cooked. The whipped potatoes were good as well as the asparagus. They only thing that I did not care for was the ice tea. It had a strange peach flavor. Just good strong ice tea is needed. The service was great and there is ample disabled parking if you need it.
Great food and great service. One of our favorite places in the area and our favorite seafood place.
Have eaten here many times before and the food is always good; however, I was very disappointed that after being notified that Nantucket scallops were again on the menu and making reservations for several days later, upon arrival we were then told that there were none until the next weekend. Felt like false advertising.
Had dinner at Parkers to celebrate a birthday. The food was outstanding, we all had seafood, it tasted fresh, side dishes were quite good also and well complemented the seafood. Wine list was extensive, service was attentive, but overly so. A really great experience overall.
We had a lunch reservation for 1:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. This is a spacious, tastefully decorated venue with a comfortable non-ostentatious clubby atmosphere. After arriving a couple minutes early, we were disappointed to wait nearly 5 minutes at the vacant hostess stand before staff arrived to greet and seat us. We did appreciate the hostess’s attention to our request to be seated in a quiet(er) area. However, once we were seated and our beverage order was taken by a server-in-training, we waited nearly 10 minutes before a waiter—not the woman who offered us beverages—came to take our order. I was not pleased—having driven an hour to get to Parkers and given that my companion was elderly, requiring a walker for standing and ambulation.
However, everything went well after those service lapses. Our waiter (kudos to him!) was professionally apologetic for our wait (which was not his fault); our food arrived quickly; and it was very good with attractive presentation. Particularly notable were the full-flavored minestrone soup and the deliciously dressed main-dish salad presented in a towering format. For dessert, we had the apricot white chocolate bread pudding, which was outstanding. In honor of my companion’s birthday, our waiter took the initiative of presenting it to her with a lit candle—a thoughtful touch for any diner, but particularly for someone who just turned 94.
always great service, a good variety of choices, nice bar, always a reliable go to restaurant
This was my first time here and we had a lovely time. Our server, Britney, was so informative and super knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Everything was delicious and cooked beautifully.
We had a very nice server and our food was delicious, however, we were seated next to a larger group in a smaller room so it was very loud. In hindsight, we should’ve requested to move to another table, but the group wasn’t as loud when we sat down as they were as the evening progressed. Regardless, we had an enjoyable evening!
Parker's is hands down, my favorite suburban place. The staff is courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is great. The food is outstanding, and the price is very reasonable for higher end dining. It is definitely my go to place.
Excellent food and excellent service. Great atmosphere for an intimate evening.
We were celebrating a birthday and the service was excellent the staff was attentive and the food was delicious. I had not been at Parker's for several years and when my sister suggested it as the choice for our family celebration we decided to come back and were are very pleased that we did and you can be sure we not take such a long time before returning to try other menu items.
Awesome find (while my father was in the nearby Good Samaritan Hospital)! We had seen Parkers during drives and decided we needed a break from emotional stress and so...went to see what Parkers had to offer. Amazing food (perfect duck, pork chop and scallops), great and attentive service (especially with my 91 year old mother) and ambiance (tasteful decor and much larger than it looks from the outside). Bottom line: I highly recommend Parkers and will visit again when back in town!!
We had a 7:15 reservation and were not seated till 7:30. With the exception of this, everything was good.
Great quality. Great service. Fair price for both.
First rate. Outstanding fish dinner. Bouillabaisse is signature and worth the visit alone. Excellent service. Treat yourself and go.
As usual, Parker's did not disappoint! The food, service and ambiance is always fantastic and it is our go to place in the area for fresh Pacific Ocean oysters which are challenging to find in the west burbs.
Great food, very slow service
My wife and I decided to meet at Parker's for a date night because we both happened to be in area. We asked for a table near the fireplace; it had a nice view of the rest of the restaurant with the kitchen in the background. Oysters were fresh; swordfish was delicious; scallops were cooked perfectly. In fact, all of the mains were served hot - right from the kitchen - no long wait to be delivered to the table. Good but not notable selection of wine. Live jazz in the bar area made it great for a date night. Overall, we were very happy with Parker's. It is a hidden gem in the western suburbs.
Great restaurant! Food was delicious, service was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. One of our favorite restaurants. Disappointed that the ice cream tower is no longer available.
We went to Parker’s on a Sunday evening which was a great time to go since it was crowded but not jam packed like on a Saturday night. Service was great because our server adapted to our slow casual pace. The grilled calamari appetizer was tender, the cedar planked white fish was perfectly cooked with a nice sauce, and the pork chop was nice and juicy but not undercooked. We had a nice table next to the fireplace. Great meal, great service and great atmosphere.
Our dinner at Parker's could not have been better! The restaurant is a wonderful place to get together with friends - we were not rushed but instead the wait staff was helpful and attentive without hovering. Our food was exceptionally good with insightful recommendations from our waiter. The atmosphere is attractive and warm. I would highly recommend Parker's.
Great dining experience! Food was outstanding perfect portions. Wait staff was attentive and educated on the menu. Oysters were fabulous. Main entrees were well designed and very delicious. Definitely will be back
Great . Wonderful service great food excellent selection
Awesome place enjoy the ambiance service was great
Loved the wedge salad! One of the best! Surf and Turf top notch.
The server was excellent and remarkable how she could explain all the evening specials, menu items, wines, etc. without a note or hesitation in describing each item. The table was well taken care of making sure all guests had everything they needed, water glasses replenished, bread refilled, etc. The food was excellent and well prepared.
White fish is outstanding!!
From check in to leaving the service was warm, friendly and efficient.
The food was perfect. All the fish dishes were beautifully prepared, sensible portions and delicious. The bouillabaisse was exceptional.
Good selection of appetizers , plus a very interesting dessert menu, including maple syrup candy cotton !
They don't carry Grappa, which disappointed our Italian guest, but did please his wife!
A lovely evening.
Food and service were great. A bit annoyed to get a message on my phone from someone asking me to call to confirm my reservation. Also the young ladies at the reception desk could be a bit more professional. Gum chewing isn’t attractive.
Oysters on the half shell, briny and fresh. Wonderfully flavorful bouillabaise. Attentive service. This place has been around for years, and it still hits the mark.
The ambiance is good, Our waiter Richard was outstanding and attentive. My husband had a Caesar salad which had no flavor, the lump crab cakes with a mango sauce was OK. He would have preferred to have a spicy mustard sauce. I enjoyed the lobster bisque. The lobster mac & cheese was bland. I did doctor up my left overs the next day and it was GREAT. We received a complimentary desert for our anniversary, key lime pie, which was excellent. Food choices are good, just need more flavor.
My next visit I will request seating in the bar area to enjoy the live jazz. No white table cloths but looked to have comfortable booths and tables in the bar area.
