The soup was cold, the server was rude, the manger was ruder , and we will never go back
We had family visiting from New York and wanted a quiet, sophisticated restaurant with the delightful Ocean View offered by Parkers Lighthouse. Our server was excellent and not intrusive. The food, as always, was very good.
I requested a change to the special of the day. Initially the waitress said substitutes are not available for specials. When the meal arrived it was exactly as I wanted. It was a great tasting seafood platter. The staff were all very friendly too! And the view on the harbor was a bonus!!
Great place to eat.
Beautiful day coupled with great view of the ocean. Andrew is the best server we ever had at Parkers Lighthouse.
We are so happy we came back here. It has been about 15 years since our last visit and everything was outstanding just as we remembered it to be.
I always thoroughly enjoy dining at Parker’s I live about 68 miles away but the anticipation of the great food, the exceptional customer service and the ambiance truly makes the drive worth wile. Parker’s will remain a romantic dining getaway for my Husband and I.
Nice location, good food but very pricey. Extremely loud inside and they needed more staff to help the folks who were working very hard
Fish was moist and perfectly grilled and device was great.
Great environment, beautiful views, food tasted great... Loved it
The view is everything at this restaurant. The food was pretty good and the service adequate. Instead of a meal we had a number of appies: clam chowder, calamari, crab cakes, shrimp tacos , and a bucket of clams. All food was nicely presented and served hot.
I was disappointed in the table we received, after requesting an amazing table for an out of town birthday celebration. I put it in the request with open table, I asked for it when I was called to confirm my reservation and and I got to the restaurant a half hour early to make sure it was once again at the top of everyone's mind. Oh well!!
This was my first time here for dinner and everyone enjoyed their dinner. They seem to have worked out consistently good food....now to get the front on board!
We checked in upon arriving at 7:30 pm for our scheduled reservation for 4 people. The receptionist asked us to move to the side and wait to be seated. We watched several other parties come in after we did and get seated immediately. I think she forgot about us. After about 10 minutes, I went back up to the reception desk and they seated us shortly thereafter. We were seated in the back room which has a nice ocean view, but unfortunately was occupied by several large parties. The room was very noisy and it was hard to hear each other.
Food was very good and service was OK, nothing special but not bad. We had one round of cocktails and one bottle of fairly inexpensive wine ($38) for 4 people, and our half of the bill was over $150 before tip. For almost $200, we could eat at many other fine dining restaurants in Long Beach that have better food, service and ambience. I guess you're paying for location here, but we live on the beach so we can look at the ocean all the time. If I'm going to spend this much on a meal, I'd rather go to 555, L'Opera, or Boathouse on the Bay.
This was our first time there and didn’t start off well...I sat on a drink tray that they left in my seat that was pushed in under the table. Waiter brought my with the wrong drink. Did offer straws for our water. But the food was outstanding. Going back for the food.
Two in our part of three had fish that was prepared perfectly. The amount of food presented was just right - not huge portions but enough to satisfy. We were very, very pleased.
Wonderful service. Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent selection. Delicious food. Great view. Best swordfish I’ve had in 30 years.
Great location and good service - but priced too high to gouge tourists - I would prefer going to a local place to enjoy good food instead of catering to tourist driven eateries like this.
However, a great location to take an out of town visitor for an occasion. Outdoor seating is excellent.
Booked a dinner date for my wife and I. Seated in booth for 4. Ok spot at best. Waiter was attentive, however ordered water, had to request again bottled water. Ordered a bottle of wine, had to request delivery/service of said wine. Food was good, sushi better than mains. Large group seatings distracted from the evening, and likely the service. And 2$ parking...what are they thinking...with a 200$ bill.
I had reserved a table 3 weeks in advance for a business meeting on Sunday, March 4 at 7 pm.
We were in Long Beach for the TPM convention and meeting several existing customers along with new potential clients. Upon arrival at Parkers we were seated outside. The weather was chilly and windy that evening and we were the only people seated outside. I was very upset. This is not what I expected and I will NEVER bring a customer back to Parkers for a business meeting again. We will go somewhere else.
My waiter was outstanding and quick and honest ! Would definitely come back in the future!
Serive was non-existent and the appetizers were cold. We had to ask twice and even then Main dishes didn’t not arrive for another 45 min. The management was understanding and took care of the majority of the bill.
The most irritating was the server kept asking if we wanted anything else including dessert when we didn’t even get our main courses. It was supposed to be a birthday celebration but turned out to be a very unpleasant evening. Very disappointed!!!!!!
Great customer service. Food and drinks were presented in a timely manner.
Parker's Lighthouse is our go to restaurant to meet friends. We have never been disappointed in anything about it except for cloudy days when we can't sit outside! Highly recommend.
Food was good. Long drive for this experience. I've had better food for substantially less money and while view was nice it wasn't worth the drive or the money. Waiter was great, very helpful for people not familiar with the different sushi/poke menu. Could go to many seafood locations and get more food for 1/2 the price, equivalent taste and quality.
Waitress was wonderful. 19 year old pretty young very attentive ! Portions were small for price,
Great location with a great view of the harbor. Food overall is good but not great. Fish is cooked on a wood fire grill but they cook it a little too long and is dry. Sea bass should not be crispy. Scallops and skewers were cold. Appears that they left the rice and skewers on the plate while they waited for the fish to cook. Sent back and they brought a second plate the same way so had to send back again. This was the case on two different plates at our table of 4. The manager did take care of us though by offering a desert. Now, the deserts were VERY good. Wine was excellent. Maybe we got the “B” team in the kitchen. Was a Sunday eve.
We had an amazing view. Great food.
I enjoyed the food, the ambience and the service was outstanding!
We booked ahead with note Window Seat & Special Occassion /Celebration Award. Waitress did not attend our table timely..
no mention of celebration.
Refills on soda or water no.
Had help from 2 other waiters for water/refill/bread & Desert menu.
I was embarrassed about Bday not noticed.
Bill was expensive for what we got.
We were overcharged 2 Sodas & Desert.

* We are looking for a restaurant to host Grad dinner (12-14 people)
Appreciate call as I did not want to ruin our eve
Place n food Very Good. Parking way too expensive!
I took my girlfriend out for the night and it couldn't have gone better. Everything was well paced from our appetizers to our after dinner drinks! Morgan was amazing and polite while also answering our questions about the menu. We felt bad about lingering a little bit after closing but we never felt rushed and were always greeted with smiles up until we left. Awesome night for us.
Our meal was very good. We sat on the enclosed patio which was nice since it was cold out. They left the one end open though (a closeable curtain) and it was letting very cold air in. We asked if they could close it (it wasn't open when we arrived) and they said they couldn't. We ordered salads and appetizers with the intent of having one before the other but they never asked and everything came out at once. It was fine but certainly not ideal. The food was tasty though and we had a good time. Service was good but not great.
It was good but not amazing for a $42 entree. We were on vacation and I would not go again.
Have been here twice this year for lunch with a couple of friends. Enjoyed the food - particularly the Bahn Mi tuna. Really tasty. Great spot for sitting outdoors with a view of the water. Hard to find outdoor dining where you're not viewing a parking lot or sitting on a street, so this is a pleasure. Service always good at lunchtime. Recommend highly.
Beautiful waterfront dining. Happy hour on the deck, great appetizers. Chilean sea bass, chowder and grilled shrimp were perfect. Nice view of the boardwalk Ferris wheel and lights at the marina. Visiting Long Beach for business—would definitely go back. Thank you.
We waited 50 minutes to get our food...and we it came it was cold. When I told the waitress it was a problem, she told me "what do you want me to do????". The restaurant wasn't even that busy.
We were welcomed quickly. Received a table quickly with a good view. Ordered food then had to wait over 30 minutes for the food that was cold. Had to wave waitress down and inquire about food. All we were told was 'it was coming'!
Seating was excellent waitress was excellent Food was fair I had seafood Linguine and it was not up to standard I was disappointed
Great experience. My wife and I enjoyed dinning here. I definitely recommend this place. Right by the water can’t beat it.
We loved the swordfish and the crabcakes. My wife said the swordfish was one of the best she's ever tasted. Nice ambiance. A little pricey but worth it.
