We were sat in a banquet room that was noise as the staff was breaking down tables and chairs. This place has turned into a bit of a tourist trap. Make sure if you go you demand to sit in the main dinning room.
Thanks again for reaching out with your concerns regarding your seating arrangements, and I want to apologize again. I responded to your Yelp review a few days ago, and I hope to hear from you soon. David Maskello General Manager Parkers' Lighthouse
Excelente servicio y alimentos!
Great meal on the patio looking out at the queen Mary. Food and service were great.
A great place for lunch with beautiful views
Food is presented nicely and service
Is very good but not great
Late lunch on a weekday at Parker’s Lighthouse. Excellent food. We had crisp Calamari that were crisp and very tasty. An excellent Ahi Tuna “Veracruz Style” (red rice, grilled corn, guajillo chimichurri) - full of flavors. Very attentive and accommodating server.
I really enjoyed my Seafood Linguine but unfortunately my friend ordered a cheese burger but...it was not a patty topped with cheese. Instead it was a burger served between "cheese bread" which was very disappointing. Other than that, our server Newman was very good and attentive. Just know that when someone asks for a cheese burger....they expect a cheese burger - not a burger between "cheese bread".
We had a great time. Love going to Parkers and watch the sun set and relaxing with great food.
The food was amazing, but the service was horrible. It’s as if she practically forgot that we were sitting there! She came by when we sat down brought our waters and we told her we weren’t ready to order. It took her about 15 min to stop by again even after circling around other tables near us. My girlfriend and I were growing impatient, but we don’t like to complain to management and have the server a chance. We really shouldn’t have, the night went on just like that, we continuously waited for everything and she never truly came by to check up on us or inform us that our food was coming up. I’ve been going here for years and it’s the first time I’ve had this bad of service. It was my first time bringing my girlfriend and even though we absolutely loved the food, she doesn’t want to come back because of how poor the service was and how long we had to wait
I'm so sorry for the service issues you describe. That certainly sounds frustrating & out of the norm for us. We want everyone to be 100% satisfied, and it disappoints me to know that you & your girlfriend walked away feeling anything but appreciated. I’d love an opportunity to speak with you to learn more information about your visit, including who your server was. Per OpenTable’s policy, I will message you my email address. Will you reach out when you have a moment? Thanks! -David Maskello, GM
The sushi nigiri was particularly disappointing. Dense, heavy, no flavor. Such a chore to eat... I sent half mine back :-(
The Mesquite-Grilled Fish (halibut) was very good, however...
wonderful view, considering it was very crowded the waitress did her best to take care of us, manager came to talk to us about a slight situation and was very accommodating. have been many times and will go back.
Parker’s Lighthouse never fails the new chef is alright by me. Seated right away our hostess was very informative about the great new chef and his new dishes.
A delicious dinner overlooking the water. The food was wonderful as well as the wine🥂
We eat there frequently.
Noticed prices increased significantly and quality of food was not as good as before.
Great views, sophisticated environment, convenient to my hotel. I’d definitely dine there again
My favorite restaurant in Long Beach! My choice for my birthday! The food is always good. The wait staff friendly and efficient.
Loved the view of the harbor, City and Queen Mary from the restaurant. Grilled shrimp was excellent!
the wait staff was wonderful! we LOVE Parker's Lighthouse. we go as often as we can. this was the second event we've had there. our visiting relatives loved it too. a great time was had by all! it was just hard to leave, because the view is so beautiful!
Always a pleasure to go to the Lighthouse. My father is a WWII Vet & came home from the war on the Queen Mary. We are always very thankful that They accommodate us to sit at the window so he can see the ship.
We have been many times to Parker's Lighthouse for lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed it tremendously, the food and service and of course, the location.
This time, although our waitress was excellent, both of our entrees were bland and disappointing for the first time ever.
I hope you’ll accept my apologies that the entrees weren’t up to our normal standards. I sincerely appreciate your continued patronage at our restaurant, and I never want any of my guests to walk away feeling anything other than 100% satisfied. Per OpenTable’s policy, I will directly message you my email address. Will you reach out to me when you have a chance? Thank you! David Maskello General Manager Parkers' Lighthouse
It was great
Great service and excellent food
We were outside by the water's edge. Great views with very good food. Coconut shrimp was great.
Dad’s 80th birthday party. Food was very good. Our waitress was horrible! Arguing with us about our orders even after we called the manager over and she explained to us and the waitress what we could order to replace their 30 ounce Ribeye(which they have been out of the last two times we were their for dinner). Our orders came out all messed up. Some of us got our 11 ounce lobster and some of us got no lobster. No apology and waitress even seemed annoyed that she had to fix our orders to make it right. When your paying $600.00 for dinner you expect to get what you ordered and paid for. Not a good experience!
While I’m glad to hear the food was good, I’m disappointed to learn about your experience with the service. I want to apologize for that, and I’m working with my team to discover what happened so that we can improve. I’m hoping that you and I could talk about your visit, as I’d like to learn more from you. Per OpenTable’s policy, I will message you my email address. Can you please reach out? Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you. David Maskello General Manager
One of my guests slipped and fell because there was a puddle of water , the sign was nowhere near the puddle .
Good meal but pricey for what you get. Would have been better had we sat outside.
I had the filet mignon and it was very tender and good quality. Husband had jambalaya and it was too spicy but waiter did warn him it was very spicy. Service was awesome. Waiter was very attentive. We sat outside and the views of the water and the Queen Mary are spectacular.
The restaurant has a beautiful view and the food is very good. Unfortunately on Friday the food took forever and we were on a time table. They said the computer went down and the kitchen didn’t get our order.
Excellent place with excellent view, I would love to come back..!
All was good.
Arrived late (9 PM) and got a great table outside on the water. View and atmosphere is wonderful. Overall food was very good. I ordered the salmon with crab topping and it was amazing. It came with mashed potatoes that were dry and not very good however. My wife ordered the crab cakes and they were amazing! My daughter ordered the filet and it was very good. Overall good experience, albeit pricy (each appetizer crab cake was $18!) so only go here if you're ready to drop a few bills, especially if you have a glass or two of wine.
As Always Parker’s Lighthouse is a Long Beach gem. Great food and the marina view priceless
Newman was a great server!!! Appreciate his attention to detail...
This place is one of most favorite places to go to. Ambiance is great- food is amazing and ocean view! Perfect perfect perfect!!
Great restaurant, great view, great value.
Nice server, but understaffed and very slow service. Food good. Probably won’t be back because of service unfortunately.
Good food, selection somewhat limited. Temperature was too cold - we may have been seated under a vent. Food was very good except for the clam chowder which had too much and undercooked potatoes, and not enough clams.
The service was great and also the food, they have a sampler dish that was outstanding, I had the turf and surf dish and it was very good.
I've visited your institution many times. I felt that it would be a fabulous setting for our annual Nursing Group from LAC-USC Medical Center to meet and greet this year. The experience were great. It was such a beautiful day and the ambiance were awesome.
Absolutely wonderful in every way!!
We had an incredible meal, terrific service (thanks, Mario!) and peaceful ambience.
