Catch of the day was over cooked and accompanying sides lukewarm. Daughter’s lobster Mac and cheese was uninspired and not worth the $38 we were charged. Waiter was inattentive. Manager comped my entree but I still left feeling very unsatisfied.
Great views. Wood grilled flavor with a wide variety of seafood.
The food was great, the service was excellent, the view was amazing
Everything from the service to the food was outstanding! I recommend seating outdoors, even in the cold weather since they have heaters. The view was amazing and set a nice vibe to our dinner. Would definitely return!
The food was great. The indoor dining was just a little loud for me. Moved outside with the heaters and the rest of the evening was great.
Sat at a window side table on the first floor. We had gorgeous panoramic views of the ocean and got to watch the sunset from our table. The food and drinks were incredible from the rolls to the fish entrees. I highly recommend ordering their signature Bloody Mary if you like Bloody Marys. The service was friendly and efficient! Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in the area.
The food was good. I really don’t have anything else to say about it, because I was shocked about how flippant the staff was. From the 3 people standing at the host desk, that couldn’t welcome us or even smile, to our waitress who acted as though we were an inconvenience. The view is beautiful of the bay. We would suggest it or be back if we are ever in the area again. This midwesterner has worked in CA, from North to South. This was my first ever experience with rude staff.
Great restaurant to have lunch or dinner. The food is very fresh and tasty. We love the view of the bay.
It's a neighborhood gem. Great selection of seafood dish, appetizer, etc. and delicious! Host, hostess, waiters and waitresses - they are all friendly and just great. View of the ocean is fantastic. Great for all occasions.
Just perfect as usual
This was an amazing place to spend our anniversary. The 'surf and turf' was outstanding. My wife enjoyed the 'mariners plater'. We will be coming back to this restaurant again.
We ate on the patio, so could not have had a better atmosphere. Wine was great, loved their clam chowder & rolls! Mahi Mahi was awesome too..service could be improved, overall a great restaurant,
Very good experience! View is incredible!
My husband and son and I went for dinner at Parker's Lighthouse in Long Beach California. We made a reservation in advance and were seated right away. Our server was very attentive. The food came out quickly. I wasn't overly impressed with the food. The ambiance was lovely though.
There was no may e option for recommending this place so I just checked yes I would recommend. I made reservations and still had to wait 30 min to get seated. The restaurant local and view are great. Restaurant decor Is nice as well. We ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer, the shrimp was obviously not fresh and had a bad fishy taste. We ordered out food about 7pm and didn't get our dinner until an hr later. Our waiter came to our table once the entire hour. We had no refills on our drinks and no explanation as to where our food was. I stopped another waitress and asked for the manager. He came quickly apologized, took the appetizer (which was gross anyway) and our drinks off the bill. Good for the awesome views especially at sunset if you like overlooking water. This place was club level noisey, my family and I had to scream talk at each other the whole night
Amazing food! Beautiful ambience. Service was very good, as always
the food was excellent and so was the service. The locations is spectacular ...
Every about our experience was fantastic. Beautiful harbor views, great service from staff and food was most delicious. We were just passing through, we will stop there again next time we are in town.
We will be back. We had salads, they were good. We were hoping for more of a brunch type menu rather than a lunch/dinner menu, but it worked out. Chicken seasoning was perfect. Service was excellent. A little pricey, but hey, I am rich so I don't care.
We meet two or three times a year and always at Parker’s Lighthouse.
Amazing amazing I loved it it was really good the food and the services
Up on the 3rd floor on a Saturday can be pretty noisy. We had 4 different waiters, and sometimes it took a while to get service. Overall good experience.
Very busy restaurant but the staff doesn’t miss a trick. Impeccable service by all.
The food was great, however our waitress got our order mixed up and it happend to be the person we were honoring that evening. We also advised at the time the reservation was made that we were celebrating a birthday. We were told that a desert would be provided to the individual whose birthday we were celebrating and it wasn't.
You pay for the atmosphere.
Wow, what a great meal. Good food and exceptional service. We were having a celebratory dinner for a friend who had just been accepted into a Ph.D. program. She had never been to PL before and she became an instant fan.
Great food and service. We sat outside and the view was amazing. It was chilly but the outdoor heaters kept us comfortable.
A great meal. We really love the place. The surprise of the evening was the size a d taste of the burger on cheese garlic btead. It was over the top and perfect for my daughter a non sea food leter.
Great atmosphere and views. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed by the non-meat options entree options (none).
Had a group of 5 of us from out of town (I’m from here and brought out of towners).
Calamari- nothing special really. It tasted fine.
Mediterranean salad- great salad, perfect dressing ration
Crab stuffed shrimp - really tasty, only complaint was the asparagus that came with it was under cooked.
Lobster- well cooked, but not special
Ahi tuna (California style)- really good
Barramundi (Vera Cruz style)- excellent
Salmon (Vera Cruz style)- excellent
Crem brule - very flavorful
Tollhouse pie- good flavor but a little over cooked
Christie was our waitress. She was an excellent waitress. She provided suggestions on meals, provide strong opinions for us on meal options when we asked. My only complaint was she had 5 tables including a large group. She didn’t have quite as much time to devout to us to make sure everything was good with our meal (I never even had the opportunity to tell her my asparagus wasn’t cooked properly). Like I said she was great when she had the time.
Overall we enjoyed the experience. I was very glad to take my friends out for the view.
Some confusion with the table availability and we had to wait 10-15 minutes but staff was friendly and kept us updated. Entire party of 7 was satisfied with food and drink.
Our server Tony was awesome. I made a slight comment about a food item and without promoting he offered to correct and sent us the lovely key lime, now that's customer ervice. Truly enjoyed the food an ambience. It is a little pricey but I will go back next time in LB
This restaurant is not what it used to be. The chowder was cold and overloaded with potato, the ravioli tasted more like sawdust and was also cold. Ask for a side order of parmasean and taste how poor the quality is. Tastes like wax. Also check your bill carefully as the wine we ordered was $11.00 per glass yet the charged us $12.00. In addition, made reservations a month before flying into LA, received a telephone reminder on the Saturday before and then on the Monday at 11:44 received another call that they were closing the restaurant at 4:oo pm for a private event. My phone was off, so I did not receive this message, but I did call the restaurant at 3:15 (our reservation time) to say that we would be a half hour late due to traffic and they said that's fine and made no mention of the restaurant closing at 4:00 pm until we actually arrived at the restaurant. They then said that there were no tables in the dining room and that we could sit in the bar area and order from the bar menu. Took 10 minutes for the waitress to arrive who then told us that we have 5 minutes to order and will need to be out of the restaurant by 5:00 pm. To top it all off, they notified Open Table that we were a no show. Really disapointed as this was a special occasion that we were taking dear freinds to before flying back home. Ralph
Great food! Great views! You definitly get what you pay for. I want to try every dish!
Great service, great food. The Hostess was a bit disorganized and kept us waiting for about 15 minutes past our reservation time. Good overall.
This was a very important business meeting. At first, I was very turned off when I came in early to check in with our reservation. I was about 15 min early, I wanted to make sure the table was ready to go with some appetizer because we were on a time crunch. The hostess told me I couldn’t be sat until half my party was there.... really wish someone would have told me that prior especially because they called me to confirm my reservation and I called them the day of to make sure everything was ready.
Then once my party was there at 530- we still had to wait.... I don’t understand having to wait when I made a reservation ahead of time... and I was there early..... left a bad taste in my mouth.
Four of us had dinner at Parker s after seeing a play. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the food and service was spectacular.
We come from 80 miles away. Had a wonderful experience, as usual. Madison was an excellent server; very attentive to our needs.
Parkers Lighthouse restaurant is one of my favorite in Long Beach. I recommended it to my niece, who is visiting from London. She wanted a special Long Beach eating experience and she wasn’t disappointed.
