This long-time favorite never fails to delight. The prime rib, done just right, is always a treat. The fact that we aren't rushed and can have a quiet conversation is rare in this era of loud, mind-numbing, "turn over the table" restaurants.
My sandwich was very good.
had a great meal at Parkers! We return often for the good food and service.
Great, everyone had prime rib and it was very tasty.
The food and service were excellent. We were seated in a quiet area of the restaurant which was perfect as I want to be able to converse without shouting. I love the ambiance of the place.
Sunday brunch is always a great. Yummy, ample and varied. Room was cool so I sat near the fireplace.
Ok not amazing . Overpriced and unimpressive. Seated quickly wait staff was attentive. Food was not as good as First Watch. 3 poodle for Sunday brunch 110.00. Really!
Great atmosphere and staff at this restaurant. I love the fireplaces!
This was a recommendation, from a friend. I arrived, before my guests. Went to the bar, but seats were all full. Asked a floor waitress if tables were for bar patrons, she said ask the door folks. They said they are and they aren't! What does that mean? Finally, I just said can I just sit and get a glass of wine! Finally served.
Our dining room server was nice. However, she did not offer the evenings special. We had appetizers and dinner. All meals were good, but nothing too exciting. I had the meatloaf. I did not think it was something worth ordering again. The meat was shaped like little logs and very dense. The chili sauce on top, was tasty.
My guests had the salmon salad and the filet. They enjoyed them.
Parker's is always a pleasant and tasty place to have a lunch meeting. Service is smooth and food is good.
Ours was a get-together with friends. We each enjoyed our lunch selections. However, at lunch where we were in one large room, it was rather noisy for those of us with hearing aids. We came at noon. A later time might have been preferable just because of the noise level.
Excellent, and don’t leave without trying the Creme Brulee
Their Sunday brunch is amazing. It's a favorite for my family.
Absolutely wonderful brunch !!!!
Dined @4:30 on a Sunday PM after the brunch buffet was over. Hadn't been there for many years and found it to be a pleasant surprise especially since there were very customers @ such an early dinner hour. Food and service were both very good.
Excellent restaurant. Love the décor. Service was just a bit slow, but not a big deal. Usually it is not. Crab cake appetizers (not always on the main menu, usually as a special) are excellent and the filet mignon and prime rib always vie for the best on the menu.
We've been to Parker's several times in the past, but this was our first time back in a few years. Unfortunately, this trip did not live up to past experiences. From a large piece of fat/gristle in a filet, to special requests in orders being forgotten, the dinner was okay - but certainly not great for the premium price.
We were looking for a place to celebrate our 10year breast cancer survival. We wanted to dress nice. Met our expectations
Unfortunately, this was an underwhelming experience. The service was awkward but efficient. The food was good but not great. Neither my wife or I particularly enjoyed our meals, the short rib and the ribeye. My risotto was still grainy and definitely not the creamy consistency that I would hope for. Parker's presents themselves as upscale casual dining but I think the overall experience is uninspired and blasé. The building itself is very nice. I would be happy to try again for their Sunday brunch, but I don't think I would recommend returning for dinner.
Visited for Valentine's Day with family. Limited menu but good options. Shrimp scampi, salmon and mahi mahi were are choices. All very good.
I have gone to Parkers many times in the past but was disappointed on Valentines Day when I sat down and saw it was a limited menu. And the limited menu was beef or sea food. No chicken entree to choose. I do not eat sea food and wasn't interested in the high price Filet. I was just surprised that something as widely eaten as Chicken and which would be a more affordable choice was not one of the offerings.
Will double check next time on a special day.
Great way to spend Sunday afternoon! We really enjoyed the food and our server Eric.
Our waitress (Peg?) was excellent. The beginning service was spot on...the main course was a bit slow. Obviously the kitchen was overwhelmed. The food was just as ordered and hot (or cold) as required. The western/horse racing theme wasn't what we expected, however it was tastefully decorated.
Prices are on the higher end so I would expect high quality food and service. Some of the food was great- some was cold. By the time the server checked back, (very long time) the rest of the meal was eaten. The offer was to replace the cold food which was fine but the server seemed annoyed to have to box it to take home since all the meals were already eaten prior. Won’t be high on our list to return to unfortunately. We were hoping we found a great new eating spot!
Great food and excellent service. Definitely recommend Parker’s Blue Ash Tavern to anyone for a nice evening.
I had the Sunday Brunch and it was delicious. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed there were not enough vegetables to choose from. And mash potatoes were missing. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would come back.
Liked the décor. Server did a nice job. Food delivery forgot steak knife, butter and sour creme. Server immediately had it brought out. Nice job, took a few extra minutes to get drinks server apologized, said bartender was a little backed up. Overall, I will definitely recommend. Need to try Sunday.
My friend and I met for dinner! It was wonderful at Parker's! I will tell you that the waiter (and I so wish I remembered his name) was incredible! We sat in the back near the fireplace!
He let us talk for a long time, waited on us with unlimited ice tea and coffee throughout the evening (which was long for us as we talked forever)!
The food was outstanding! It always is there!
Would highly recommend Parker's!
Really nice Sunday brunch in a city where we are lucky to have lots of places to choose from! The seafood choices were nicely presented..the seafood mac and cheese was delish! Lots of traditional brunchy food as well! Yum!
The food was o.k., not bad, served in small portions, and moderate prices.
It was a very quaint place as this was our first time there. We were put in a very small 2 person booth. Crowded tables in the restaurant, but cozy. The server was very good. The food, we both had prime rib, was very good.
It is a nice night out.
Unfortunately we went on this Saturday evening 7:00 reservation looking for rare, and medium rare prime rib. Only well done left. I suspect they did not want to split the next roast. They picked up the entrees but it really was disappointing. I doubt we get a make up invite.
Very good for a reasonable price...a nice varied menu that can meet every ones needs..
Steak was cooked perfectly! and worked with very well with the salad. Bar area and cocktails could use a little updating. There is a lot going on in the cocktail world and the bar keep didn't discuss, ask, present or really engage with us about choices, variations, new ideas.
Very average overpriced food. Seats in booth very uncomfortable. Decor is dated and in serious need of both cleaning and upgrade. Service was adequate, not friendly not great. Server was distant and seemed like he couldn't care less if we enjoyed our meal. Refills for our drinks were never offered. We did not receive food quality, portion size or service value that justified the prices charged. Too bad. This was once a nice place to dine.
Good food and good service. Always enjoy going to Parker’s for brunch. Good variety of food
