My wife and I were in Blue Ash looking for a nice place for dinner after a rain-out at the tennis tournament and found excellent reviews for Parkers Blue Ash Tavern. Everything about Parkers exceeded our expectations. We were early for our reservation, so decided to wait at the bar, which provided excellent service with a good choice of beer and wine. The dining room was very busy, but we were seated within several minutes of our 7pm reservation. Our server, Shannon, promptly greeted us, then returned to take our order. We started with the chopped salad, which was excellent, and shared the lemon-rosemary roasted half chicken; my wife does not like dark meat. The chicken was perfectly cooked with incredible flavor, and the accompanying mashed potatoes were great. Fortunately, having shared our entree, we decided on brulee cheesecake for dessert; it is an unbelievable combination, not to be missed. Shannon did a great job, the food was excellent, and we will return to Parkers whenever we are in Cincy.
Last minute decision to book because we were in the area. Hadn’t been there in years. Was pleantly surprised. I had the fish and chips. Really good, served hot and freshly made. The waiter gave us great advice and was very knowledgeable. Going Back for lunch on Tuesday!
Great neighborhood pub. Bar area is noisy. Back dining rm quiet and pleasant
We got there at 4 pm and this was just the start of dinner dining time. Unfortunately our waitress was not there yet, hence service was a little slow initially, but once our waitress started, service was spot on!
We had a nice time catching up with friends. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed ourselves.
Our total experience was outstanding - friendly & efficient staff, delicious food, pleasant outdoor area. We definitely plan to return.
Excellent evening! Great live music & my filet was amazing!
Excellent Prime Rib. Service was excellent. Our server, Peggy gave great recommendations.
Just a little disappointed with the time to bring out our food.
Celebrated our anniversary.
Food was great.
Stephanie did a great job taking care of us.
Don’t miss the fish and chips.
Went for burger week. The featured burger was very good. The salads were fresh and not too heavily dressed. The regular menu looked ok.
We enjoyed the atmosphere. There was living music which was a plus but we were in the wrong room to be able to hear it. It was burger week and they had several to choose from and the ones we had were good. Definitely other things on the menu I would want to try so we plan to go back sometime.
At first my server seemed like she would be very attentive, but as dinner went on she was less and less. Although the restaurant was moderately busy, I felt like she forgot about us a majority of the time. In the end, the manager was the one who served our food and brought our check. A bit disappointing really. The food was excellent, we were there for burger week and I LOVED the brat burger, tasted just like a brat. And the pretzel bun was fantastic. All in all I would love to come back again.
Visited for Burger Week and enjoyed the experience very much. Service was outstanding. Had not been here for years but now I think I’ll need to visit more often!
We went for burger week. The burger was Ok, our service was great. The most disappointing was my son and husband ordered fries and received this measly amount with their burger. We still joke about it.
Burger Week is fabulous here! The Burger was hamburger meat with Bratwurst ground it. Juicy and delicious!! Get there before Sunday!!
Burger & Beer was wonderful!
Consistently great food and service. Their Sunday brunch is outstanding. Warm atmosphere.
In a word, meh. My wife ordered the prime rib and thought it was quite good. I had a new york strip steak that was mediocre. The cajun mac & cheese is good. Overall, the food was not exciting, although there was nothing wrong with it either. The ambience was pretty casual. Nothing was wrong, but nothing was really outstanding either.
There was hardly anyone there on a Saturday night, didn't understand that at all. And with no crowd (except in the tavern) it took us in the dining room over 20 min to get our cocktails. And then the waitress wanted us to order before our cocktails arrived! Something was definitely off that night, not sure what. Food was good, can't say more than that. Wasn't great. This was last Saturday, 7/14, 7:00 reservation, was there something going on?
Food is very good, as usual. Server was pleasant and competent, but seemed distracted a bit.
Love your food, but I can’t afford to eat there very often!
Food was delicious, our waiter was friendly, patio was perfect- great experience
Good food overall. The garden salad was somewhat wimpy compared to one I had a few months ago.
Parker's is an upscale restaurant. The ambiance is outstanding...beautiful ( but not ornate ) decor, soft lighting, and quiet peaceful atmosphere. The food is very good and our server, Rebecca, was friendly, efficient, and helpful. If there is a "con" to it, the prices were somewhat higher than one could get at some other nice restaurants. I ordered the special, crab encrusted halibut, which was delicious, but could have used a little more crab. Over all, it was a very pleasant experience.
My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and without any dinner plans we remembered having our rehearsal dinner at this restaurant (previously another name and owner). We used open table for the reservation (July 3rd) and found we could get right in. Once our server (Shaun) learned of our anniversary, he rolled out the red carpet for us. (Although he is such a professional I think he treats all of his customers this way, special occasion or not). He skillfully noted all highlights of their modest menu particularly pointing out that all ingredients are house made and fresh. Two glasses of prosecco were followed with fresh baked bread. Our salmon and trout entr'ee's were prepared exceptionally. Everything was piping hot and delicious. The chocolate ganash cake was just the right finish along with fresh coffee.
Don't just go for a special occasion or their fantastic Sunday brunch. You will be very happy having a great dinner any time at a good price.
Oh, and Shaun, best waiter experience ever! Thanks
Pleasant restaurant. I had the scallops and they were excellent.
Excellent Prime Rib and service. Everyone was friendly, the food was prepared promptly and tasted great. Would recommend and go back.
Sat in the bar area. Food was average, mushroom soup of the day was good but calamari tasted like it had been cooked and sitting around for a while. Overall value is lacking, many wines by the glass are $10 plus per glass ($50 plus per bottle) for mediocre wines). There are many better restaurant options for dinner in the Blue Ash / Montgomery / Kenwood area.
My wife and I always dine at Parkers when visiting friends and family in Cincinnati. The food is always delicious! This time I tried the Pan Seared Rainbow Trout and it was the best I have ever eaten.
As a vegetarian, there is not a lot of main course options on the brunch menu. Even the twice bake potatoes had bacon.
Great steak, a-1 all around
We had a great time at Parker’s . There was live music and we really enjoyed it. Five star experience!
Great food and service in a nice atmosphere ! I highly recommend the French onion soup!
Staff was friendly and attentive. Ambience didn’t interfere with conversations. Food and service very good. Would definitely return the next time we are in town.
We always enjoy coming here as every experience has been delightful with superb food and excellent service at a reasonable price.
Very nice atmosphere and decor. Felt like a manor house on a Kentucky horse farm. Food was outstanding quality but a bit pricey which was okay for an anniversary celebration with two but would be cost prohibitive for a family or large group. Server was excellent. When asked about French Onion soup vs salad she offered a 1/2 serving of each which was just perfect. French Onion soup, wedge salad, and prime rib were all great flavor and quantity. Server made extra effort to make sure we were finishing up with soup and salad before ordering up the prime rib.
Celebrated birthday & Father’s Day since I will be out of town next week.
This the second time we've come to Parker's Tavern when we visit Cincinnati and we loved it both times. Service is great, ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful, and the food is great!!!
Decent, won't go back
We had a great family meal.
