Parker's Bistro es un encantador restaurante para 100 comensales ubicado en el centro de Sioux Falls. Parker's fue inaugurado en septiembre de 2009 y ha sido una importante incorporación a la experiencia del centro de la ciudad. Su misión es ofrecer comida de excelente calidad acompañada de bebidas y servicio excepcionales. I usually don’t write reviews, even when we had bad experiences. However, I was compelled to write this review due to our experience and frustration while dining at this restaurant. The waiter did not engage with us. He was always in a rush, didn’t provide us with any recommendations, and didn’t seem like he wanted to service us. We noticed he was more engaged with the other customers and was trying to ignore us throughout our time at the restaurant. We talked with the owner and he did apologize. He said he would take off $30 from our bill but never did. We were very disappointed with the experience from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t that exceptional to overcome the bad experience.

I have always had fantastic experiences at Parker's, and I generally pick this location for special occasions. I love their rotating menu, particularly since they tend to cater to gluten sensitivities without sacrificing flavor or quality. While the current menu was not the best example of what they offer, we had a great meal and I will definitely be back. I will say that some appetizers are more shareable than others, so I recommend checking with your server when ordering - they always know the menu very well. While the appetizers came rather quickly, we found ourselves hungry right away and other restaurants tend to include something small to start. Parker's delivers at their price point, and some bread early on might be a nice touch for them to consider in future menus. We did have to request a dessert menu, which I thought was a little odd. The presentation was fantastic as always, and the flavors of each course was top notch along with the temperature and quality of the food. Pictured is my dessert choice: grilled peach posset with pecan, maple gastrique, and cashew cream - delightful.

Keep forgetting how limited the menu is. We ended up eating several appetizers. Disappointed as it was a favorite several years ago.

Beautiful restaurant with a moody yet comforting vibe. The ribeye was grilled to MR perfection and the Caesar salad was delicious. Dan, thank you for an enjoyable meal!

Food was delicious. Started with a couple of Parker Martin’s, then shared the lamb chislic (the official Sputh Dakota nosh) and tinned fish appetizers, and the gazapacho with zucchini and quinoa for the main, paired with a bottle of Joseph Drouhin Chablis. And the service was very attentive. Would highly recommend.

It is my wish that Parker's does another Wine and Food pairing. Last night was exquisite! The food and perfect pairing with wine made the flavors not only pop but also made the wine's notes come out in a different way than just sipping it. The service is always top-notch! We learned that the menu was created by the owner, but she is not a sommelier. You wouldn't know it based on last night's event. It was a wonderful, relaxing night out. :-)

Our table was near the kitchen, which added to the noise and activity, but also some entertainment. Our server, Mercedes, was excellent and attentive at just the right times. Our meals were well prepared and presented. The house pasta and lamb chops were just as they should have been. One criticism, the cocktails from Myrtle’s bar were a bit slow in arriving. We’ll be back again. It was one of the top three dining experiences we have had in Sioux Falls.
