The Harry Potter themed night was so much fun!
Really “different” menu for both food and cocktails.
Our gang of pheasant hunters always eats here before flying out of Sioux Falls each year. We've never been disappointed, and our visit Sunday night was no exception. Terrific menu choices and a great wine list, and the service was professional and attentive. Most of us ordered and loved the halibut, but I had the duck, which was excellent, accompanied by a rustic barley pilaf and grilled squash that was seasoned to perfection.
Great service, food and atmosphere.
The ambiance is very relaxed, warm and comfortable. Our server was fantastic, and the food was excellent. We had a great evening and enjoyed it very much.
Very nice ambiance. Food was absolutely delicious! I had the scallops and my husband had one of the specials. The service was impeccable. We had a lovely evening.
Fantastic experience! Beautiful space, great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly, professional service.
Great food. Super attentive staff. Phenomenal dinner
Family get together.
The hostess was wonderful and very friendly before some need drinks quicker than others. When we ordered the 2nd drink and waited again, my husband made a comment to her about walking up the bar to order it himself, and she was mad and sort of slammed the drink on the table when she brought it back, no apology. It has a ton of potential ~ I hope they work on some things.
Finest food in Sioux Falls! Excellent cocktail program, innovative food, delicious vegetarian options, nice wine list. Enthusiastic, friendly service. Ambiance is informal and relaxed but still special for a date.
Good as usual. Duck great waitress; neat old building.
It was a perfect for a anniversary dinner. Food was awesome, Spicy tuna sushi is so delish!
As usual the food and service was excellent. The food, from the appetizer to the dessert were in presentation and taste are never disappointing. An excellent place to take friends and family
A great dining experience! The food and service were wonderful!
This place is just always the best
Parker's Bistro is a wonderful restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is personal and fun!
Seems as if halibut is the daily special each time we come. Some variation would be good. The chislic doesn't (in my opinion) reflect the true taste of SD chislic. Otherwise, we love the place would just like some menu variety.
Spendy but worth it. Perhaps I ordered one too many drinks? Had a tough time finding a parking spot with the location of the restaurant.
The food was amazing, our waitress, Heidi was very friendly and professional, definitely we will be back!
The food was excellent and we enjoyed dining outside in the pleasant weather. Our waiter was very attentive, kept our water glasses filled and made menu recommendations. I enjoyed the halibut while my friends had the scallops and pork chop. The lavender lemon cake was amazing!
I love Parkers!
Great experience. I was worried that there were mostly young adults and no kids. We brought our children and despite not having a kids menu, they were very accommodating. Wait staff was very good and the German bier was fresh! Food was great, unique and very tasty.
Took special relatives to Parker’s, had an amazing time. The food was great and the margaritas were the best we have ever had!
The entertainment outside (3 women & guy lead guitarist) was very good. Hard to justify that kind of expense given the # of tables on a he sidewalk. We’ll be back!
Wow! We were very happy that we chose Parker's for our only night in Sioux Falls. It hit the mark for a memorable evening.
Tremendous food, tremendous wine list, tremendous desserts, tremendous craft cocktails, tremendous service. What more do you need?
Parker’s has been my favorite restaurant in town since the first time I ate there about 8 years ago! Their menu is so unique and in my opinion, no where else in town is to their caliber. I always say that their food is like a work of art with so many flavors and pairings with main dishes and sides that are just perfect together. I only rated noise louder because it was an “Irish” themed night with live music, but typically I would say that noise level is very moderate.
Service was good at first but quickly dwindled. The server did not listen well to requests although very polite and conversational. Filling or getting drinks took longer than normal, as in waiting for more and when filled some glasses were left out.
Food was well presented and prepared though subtle in flavor. Half the table had lukewarm food, not fresh or hot. The only dish worth returning for was the market steak which although scrumptious was not portioned well per the price paid, it left one wanting.
Drink selection was minimal with drafts tasting old. Downtown demands better and only one local craft was available.
While the ambiance appeared promising, the seating proved uncomfortable by the end. Sound was abysmal being hardly able to hear across the table.
Worth noting were the frequent silverware and dishware droppings, it was nearly like clockwork with seemingly every other order.
A minimal single bathroom for a single person would not fare well on a busy night.
Being touted as an upscale eatery in DTSF for special occasions, this humble experience failed to meet expectations in most every way.
We had a table for 2 that was fairly private. We couldn't really hear other people much. Our server was excellent and had excellent recommendations since it was our first time here. We started with a appetizer of the spicy tuna which was interesting since it was almost like a really large sushi roll and it tasted great. I had the duck and my wife had the pork chop both were excellent. The wine and liquor selections were huge, almost overwhelming and wasn't sure what to order but our server recommended a speciality drink which was good and unique. The prices are a little high but it is to be expected for historic downtown building and more romantic setting. We would go back again. The dinner and experience made for an excellent date night.
We had such a great time here! The food was excellent and our service was great.
Walking into Parker's, we were told by the host that our reserved table was near the live music at the front, but she thoughtfully gave us the option to sit farther back in the restaurant where it was quieter. The table that we took in the back was perfect - we were still able to hear the musician's Don McLean and Jim Croce covers, but we were also able to easily converse with each other without raising our voices.
Parker's did so much right - dim lighting and candles, beautiful decorations, attentive but not overbearing service - and that was before the food and drinks even came out. From the Necromancer cocktail to the vegan ratatouille to the lavender olive oil cake, Parker's Bistro exceeded expectations, and we will definitely be back next time we're in the area!
Average food at a well-above average cost. There’s a long list of Sioux Falls restaurants that we believe to be a better value than Parker’s. Great presentation, knowledgeable staff, but underwhelming taste. We dined inside alongside a dozen flies. We had other events that evening so we took their first reservation slot - 4:30. We arrived at 4:35 and the manager greeted us by saying they weren’t quite setup yet. Hoping for more to celebrate our anniversary.
If you’re looking for a cozy, fine dining experience, I would recommend Crawford’s over Parker’s.
I’ll be by to get my hat!
Another fantastic dining experience! Sitting at the bar in Allyson's section is an absolute blast. Can't wait until we go back!!
I had the fish of the day which was halibut and it was delicious. My husband had the duck which was outstanding. Would choose Parker’s again when we visit.
Amazing. We love this place. I get the steak with 3 scallops. Best of both worlds.
Food was good but menu limited. Nice place with good service.
Nice atmosphere, extremely high prices for portions. Food was good but not good enough to warrant the prices.
