We went for a couples night out. Fried artichoke appetizer and shrimp cocktail were both very good. The burgers a huge, steak was good, fish was excellent and the sandwich was very good. We enjoyed all the food. Variety of beers, wine and specialty cocktails. We will return.
Food was ok. The spring rolls were very greasy. Tuna app was ok. Felt rushed out by waitress. Was her last table.
Food was wonderful as always, beautiful surroundings
Whatever you have, end the meal with zeppoles!
The Shepard’s Pie Rocked! You must get the Zepoles!!
We waited over 40 minutes with a reservation! Waiter took forever to take our food order and food was mediocre to poor.
A wonderful dinner on Saturday night. The two hostess were so friendly upon arrival. Seated promptly. Servers all terrific and friendly. Fish dinners were outstanding. The only complaint it was cold where we were sitting- by the windows in front. Otherwise a terrific place for a casual dinner.
While we lived the ambience it was too noisy to easily converse. Our main course we're fair. The apps were yummy as was the dessert. Our server was not particularly attentive or knowledgeable. Do love the water on the table. Would come to the bar but probably not dinner
Was very happy with food and service! Nice place to get together with family and friends but drinks can be pricey! But then again that everywhere you go! I would definitely return!
Food was excellent as was the drinks. Noise is a bit high on a Sat. evening, but loved this restaurant. Our server Juan was outstanding!
Solid meal. The short ribs were good. Good layout and nice service
Our waitress, Melinda, was professional, friendly, and attentive, without being overbearing. I requested the back room and was pleased that my request was honored. Thanks for a great evening!
Good restaurant setting separate from a lively bar area. Comfortable seating, spacing ok
Split an app of filet mignon spring rolls which was good. Had a main of hanger steak salad, delicious
Excellent cocktails and very reasonable and good wine list
Service was excellent, not to fast or slow
Seated promptly per res time
I've been to Park West Tavern many times and the food, drinks, atmosphere and service are all consistently great.
The place is nice and the food is good. I would have really appreciated a lunch menu- I went on a Saturday and they only offered a brunch menu. I was pretty dissappointed, I wish that would have been stated on the website.
Made the last reservation on Open Table listed at 9:45, sat at 9:45 and were then rushed to rider as the Kitchen was closing at 10:00. Don't like being rushed, if the Kithen closes at 10 shouldn't offer reservations at 9:45
We had a table near the window and found it to be very cold with drafts. We asked our server to move us and he did. Thank you for that. Very accommodating.
Very wide variety of options on the menu to satisfy a wide array of tastes. Eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Good atmosphere and service. Food and drinks are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Have been here twice now and can't wait to return. Food was awesome in taste and presentation. Our Server had the perfect balance of keeping an eye on us to make sure we were ok but not bothering us either! Very nice young man.
Steak was tasteless. Salmon and lobster ravioli were good. Service was poor. Too few servers or undertrained servers, don’t know which. Will think twice before returning.
we were rushed by the waiter. The chef had changed the menu and the made popular selections not as good.
Great menu, food and service
Myself and 3 other friends met for dinner at PWT. When we walked in - the place looked promising with decent décor and what seemed like a lively bar scene.
We ordered a couple of appetizers - the spring-rolls and the calamari. The spring-rolls were OK, but nothing to write home about. The calamari tasted fishy and we had to send it back.
For entrees we ordered the pasta w Bolognese sauce, a hanger steak, a burger and the short ribs.
The pasta was good - but I found the pork based sauce a little bland. The hanger steak turned out to be a philly cheese steak and not a steak. The philly cheese steak was rather small and was average at best. In addition, it was ordered with fries but arrived with a salad. When we asked for a replacement it arrived 10 minutes late. The burger looked good and was pretty good and would have been the only menu item I would consider reordering. Finally the short ribs were not fall off the bone soft and dry and we had to ask for more sauce.
We decided to pass on dessert.
All in all - many mishaps with average and below fare and OK service.
Considering the many other options in Ridgewood - we won't be back.
Real bummer... last few visits were outstanding. Unfortunately my wife’s salmon was pan fried and swimming in sause.
My medium burger was raw... sent it back without much success.
Server could care less.
My friends and I had a wonderful time. Very nice atmosphere, clean, food was great!
A fun casual place that’s much more then just comfort food. A few good specialty items at a reasonable price
They changed up the menu so my favorite dish is no longer my favorite dish. The appetizers came out very greasy. Service great!!
Outstanding food and a nice business casual atmosphere. John, owner, has created a gem. We love the Park West Tavern!
Service was outstanding. Always enjoy the great food and attentive staff.
Good food and service but loud and a bit overpriced. Love the valet parking and will definitely go back
Quality food and top notch dining experience! The menu changes seasonly and offers fresh ingredients and extremely tasty recipes. I enjoy eating and drinking here with my family and friends often!
Anytime someone asks me what is your favorite food in Ridgewood, I usually always say Park West Taven. If you are looking for a great burger or steak this is the place to go - but if you need a Gastro Pub meal this too is the place to go. Or if you are simply looking for a decent piece of fish - again this is the place to go. I come here for the Wine and Beer list, the service and the atmosphere - toss in valet parking in a neighborhood difficult to park and you have a GEM. I would even recommend this location to Private Parties. I have had two 50 PLus Parties in their loft upstairs. On this occasion, we had Burgers and Fish and everything was perfect
Our Ridgewood friend recommended Park West for a small family reunion brunch on a Saturday. We had a lovely gathering and the restaurant staff provided us excellent service and a table in a quieter spot in the restaurant which made conversation easy and audible. Food was delicious as well. And the hostess graciously accommodated us by taking numerous photos of the group with a variety of phones! Thanks so much to Park West for your kindness to us. We do not go to the PWT often, because everything is so good! It's not just a place that you'll just get a little something. The cocktails are delish, so you'll have to have one of those. Then you flip the menu over and you know everything is going to be so good you will want to try more than an entree, and you'll be happy you did, but it ends up being $. Always a lovely experience - the staff are all great, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. It makes our short list of places that we know is going to be great every time.
Dinner was fantastic! Loved the new seasonal items on the menu. Perfect for a date night!
Very loud even thought we said it was a date night and the restaurant was half empty. They cleared tables away to make room for live music while we were still eating and made us very uncomfortable with the staff standing over us so we left. Will not recommend.
Good value, great food and service what more do you want
