Loudest place considering the few number of people in there. Service was inattentive and unprofessional.

Nice menu, innovative dishes, eg, shredded duck, mushroom pasta and reliable standards. Brussels sprouts were very tasty as an appetizer. Nice bar area. A bit pricey for “every day”, but very good overall.

The food was excellent on both presentation and taste. A nice variety on the drink menu as well. The service left a little to be desired. We had to flag down a server to take our drink order after the hostess saw that we still didn’t have a waiter and said she was going to get us someone. They seemed understaffed to handle both indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor seating is very nice however.

Eh.. steak burger came out overcooked, sent it back and the second one was cooked as ordered (med) but still had no flavor. Brussel sprouts were good (a little decadent) and the bacon app was good. Service slow at the table and from the kitchen (sat @ 6:45pm so kinda when they should be running pretty well oiled). Ambiance is nice. Others at my table had similar comments on the regular burgers. Lesson learned.

They changed the menu and it's not for the better. Very disappointed with our food we will not be returning for another meal at Park West which is sad since we've been coming here for years. Also our server seemed a bit off.

Our party of 3 all ordered a special for the day sea bass, potatoes and spinach . Requested them to make sure it was gluten free. Server said so you want me to take the potatoes off. It was surprising I kept saying no wheat, barley or rye . He had no suggestions and really did not care. Also he said the special came with a salad . No salad ever came. We also ordered a side for the meal it came with the appetizer. We had 3 entrees all the special 2 aps , one side and one desert and some coffees. Plus 6 glasses of wine . I don’t think this is a way to treat a good paying customer. Also people who have Celiac need to be treated better than this ! It’s a auto immune disease and it’s amazing servers haven’t a clue what goes on in your kitchen .

First time at Park West Tavern. We chose Park West Tavern for its varied menu, casual atmosphere and affordable prices. The staff was very pleasant and made every effort to accommodate our friend who is handicapped. The beer list was very extensive with a full roster of craft beers and ales. Everyone enjoyed a casual meal of either a salad or burger. Food was prepared as requested, beautifully plated and delicious. Only complaint would be the noise level which made conversation difficult at times.

Consistently good and excellent service. Very nice bar and great for watching sports. The dining room side is comfortable and the menu changes seasonally. You will not be disappointed.

We went for a couples night out. Fried artichoke appetizer and shrimp cocktail were both very good. The burgers a huge, steak was good, fish was excellent and the sandwich was very good. We enjoyed all the food. Variety of beers, wine and specialty cocktails. We will return.

A wonderful dinner on Saturday night. The two hostess were so friendly upon arrival. Seated promptly. Servers all terrific and friendly. Fish dinners were outstanding. The only complaint it was cold where we were sitting- by the windows in front. Otherwise a terrific place for a casual dinner.

While we lived the ambience it was too noisy to easily converse. Our main course we're fair. The apps were yummy as was the dessert. Our server was not particularly attentive or knowledgeable. Do love the water on the table. Would come to the bar but probably not dinner

The place is nice and the food is good. I would have really appreciated a lunch menu- I went on a Saturday and they only offered a brunch menu. I was pretty dissappointed, I wish that would have been stated on the website.

Made the last reservation on Open Table listed at 9:45, sat at 9:45 and were then rushed to rider as the Kitchen was closing at 10:00. Don't like being rushed, if the Kithen closes at 10 shouldn't offer reservations at 9:45

Myself and 3 other friends met for dinner at PWT. When we walked in - the place looked promising with decent décor and what seemed like a lively bar scene.
We ordered a couple of appetizers - the spring-rolls and the calamari. The spring-rolls were OK, but nothing to write home about. The calamari tasted fishy and we had to send it back.
For entrees we ordered the pasta w Bolognese sauce, a hanger steak, a burger and the short ribs.
The pasta was good - but I found the pork based sauce a little bland. The hanger steak turned out to be a philly cheese steak and not a steak. The philly cheese steak was rather small and was average at best. In addition, it was ordered with fries but arrived with a salad. When we asked for a replacement it arrived 10 minutes late. The burger looked good and was pretty good and would have been the only menu item I would consider reordering. Finally the short ribs were not fall off the bone soft and dry and we had to ask for more sauce.
We decided to pass on dessert.
All in all - many mishaps with average and below fare and OK service.
Considering the many other options in Ridgewood - we won't be back.

Real bummer... last few visits were outstanding. Unfortunately my wife’s salmon was pan fried and swimming in sause.
My medium burger was raw... sent it back without much success.
Server could care less.
