Très cher pour ce que nous avons eu dans nos assiettes
The sushi tasting menu is incredible - they were also very accommodating of our allergies. The only thing is the ambiance - it was too bright for dinner and tables are too close to each other. It didn’t fit the amazing meal we were having. The bathrooms could also use some renovation.
This was my third time visiting Park, and, as with my previous visits, it was outstanding! My partner and I both got the 6 course omakase tasting menu, with an emphasis on sushi dishes. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully made. The meal flowed well together as a whole. Something extra special about our visit this time was that my partner and I got to sit at the 'chef's table' - it happened to be available when we arrived, so it was an unexpected treat. It was a real joy to see how the chefs prepared the food and worked together to make every guest's meal with the same high quality! Thank you to everyone at Park for making an already delicious meal extra special! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Birthdays of all 4 attendees - everything was EXCELLENT !
Our server Nick did a wonderful job explaining and recommending choices for us. We came to Park when it first opened and this is now our second visit since the renovations. We did not like the decor.... it was not cozy, or trendy for such a high end Restaurant. The miso soup is lovely and the sushi was good. The surf and turf was a beautifully plated however our rib eye had too much fat on it, while the fried foie gras felt it could have cooked longer. There was not enough surf on the platter and large amount of mushrooms. Although all the food was good, I was not left with a feeling that I’m craving to come back soon.
Technically well crafted food but the "fusion" element was something that I wasn't very keen on. Soya sauce with maple syrup was one of them. I looked forward to this place as I hoped it would be closer to Nobu, Zuma, Roka etc. but even though technically it was, taste wise it wasn't and I left disappointed. There were some nice dishes though. The duck in the broth was nice and so was the salad mix with nuts etc.. Sashimi was ok but Maki was something I didn't like at all. It was too sweet and somehow 'overcrowded' with taste. Wagyu nigiri was nice but the nigiri plate was half/half. Some pieces were very nice some pieces were just a taste miss. Even though my partner enjoyed the food more than me we won't be coming back. The taste of the food is just not there for us and given the value you get I think we won't come back. Its such a shame, we were really hoping for a new place to use for nice occasions just as we used Roka, Zuma, Nobu in London. We tried Shokunin and that was better than this. Such a shame
It has lost its original greatness. Nigiri, Maki was very tasteless. I went there in its 1st year... Was amazing. Not the same anymore, not close.
My husband and I had a beautiful evening at Park celebrating his birthday! The service and the food was absolutely lovely! Everything we ate was made to perfection and we couldnt wait to try what was coming next (we had taken the Omakase/Tasting menu). The decor and overall ambiance is very romantic and cozy. It is a perfect place to celebrate a special occaision! :)
We enjoyed an amazing meal. The food is extremely well prepared. Creative without being pretentious. One of the best nights out I have had in recent memory. There were problems with open tables to accommodate our reservation, but the staff responded admirably by bringing us complimentary glasses of champagne and explaining the situation.
The food, ambiance, services, excellent, but the pricing is way way too high, won’t be going back because of that!
The service was amazing, the food obviously was great, the whole experience was close to perfect.
(Group of 7) something to please everyone.
Exquisite, fine dining. Loved everything, a bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Would definitely go back.
Lunch Omakasa menu was good in general but I regret not ordering sth else instead! The dessert that came with it was everything corn which was bizzar to taste...in general high quality food, does it worth the hype? I'm not sure about it!
WoW! La qualité !
Excellent food, great service, a bit noisy. Certainly not cheap.
As always meal was prepared to perfect and served with a smile!!!
Great food and service especially Charles the barman.
I have been to Park about four times now and every time was a wonderful experience. Quality of service and of food has not dropped over the past 3 years (even after the fire). Every time I am in Montreal I make it a point to come here.
Antonio Park is the real deal. Impressive to see how attentive he is in the kitchen and how engaged he is with his staff. Amazing meal, will be back for sure.
Food was outstanding! Service was great. Delicious meal
Every morsel is delicious. My daughter had the tasting menu and enjoyed it.
Treat yourself to this at least one in your life! Exquisite food, great service. A must
Best restaurant in montreal by far. Best food best service and really good japanese whiskey selection
Park Restaurant looks good and ambiance is nice but our service staff was just average and lacked knowledge of his wine pairing and the food was fresh but average. With all the chefs preparing fish right in front of you I would have thought the fish and rice would be fresher. They were also out of a lot of wines by the glass which complicated wine pairing and the fulsome wxperience.
This was my second visit to Park, the last two went very well, but this one was a horrible experience. The woman who greeted argued with me about my reservation, saying that other people had reserved tables and that I didn’t. The servers rarely came by to check on us or to bring us water. They forgot items that we ordered, we had to ask multiple times for wasabi and for a bottle of sake.
After having paid and leaving, I noticed they overcharged me by 30$ for the bottle of Sake that i had ordered.
The food was good, but for a $250+ Lunch, I am extremely disappointed.
Great food & service
Best for a special occasion as it certainly is pricey
We had a lovely special occasion
We did not have omakase at Park because we came from one a week ago but our neighboring table did. Despite that, it was not your normal omakase experience.
We did order their moriawase and nigiri platters and were left disappointed be the miniscule sushi portions. It was nicely presented and the fish was fresh but definitely did not stand out as "best" in Montreal.
Fantastic all around!
Nigiri sushi, maki-zushi and several shared plates and they were able to make everything gluten-free. Delicious food. Knowledgeable server. Great evening.
Food is amazing! We ordered the sushi platter and it’s decadent!
Excellent food and service!
Best sushi in Montreal. All the ingredients are fresh and the fish is outstanding.
The Culinary Experience made my husband’s Birthday celebration extra special!
Service exceptionnel et qualité des produits impeccables. Juste WoW !
We’re going on a second date, so thank you!!
Decided to celebrate my boyfriend's 25th birthday at Park - We are HUGE fans of Café Bazin, and were really excited to finally try their parent restaurant. I was underwhelmed by the ambiance. We were advised to order the 6-7-8 course meal as 'first-timers'. First 3 servings were very small, and took about 45 minutes to come out. However, we really enjoyed the fresh sashimi and sushi platter!
Food and atmosphere were outstanding! Service staff were very knowledgable and helpful :)
This is the best sushi place in North America.
We went for lunch and I told the waiter that we had a limited time to eat.
He promised a total service time of 45 minutes. The service was painfully slow, (90 minutes) and the food was not better than other sushi restaurants. We ordered omakasi. Given the reputation and the price, I expected an amazing meal as I had experienced there in the past. Not this time!
