Service was very very slow and unsatisfying. I would not go there again for Sunday breakfast.
Restaurant no more than 1/3 full at 9 am on 7/5
Consistently good value for excellent food. Lots of privacy with the space between the tables. Perfect for business meals, including breakfast.
Love this place. It's the best place I know of downtown for business conversations and a 'grown up' atmosphere with attentive but discreet service. You can hear each other, talk without raising you voice to overcome the 'environment', and think - together or alone.
You would never know this restaurant is in the hotel. Service was good, food was average. I would say inconsistent.
Great location, professional setting, highly value tables along window line on Clay St...rather lengthy waits for being seated and food to be served - also overheard other guests commenting “still waiting on my latte, need to get going...”.
You rudely marked me as a no show! Not returning here again and notifying Bonvoy as I am a platinum guest.
The service was great. They seem to have corrected the problems that existed several months ago when I last visited. Excellent breakfast.
Birthday lunch for a friend, her mother and sister. We convened in a very quiet, lush window area. Service was unobtrusive, skilled, very effective.
We enjoyed the soups, salads and iced teas. Best was the birthday cheesecake with strawberries and a candle that greeted the birthday girl at the end of our meal
We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
Check it out....
Always available and formal enough for a business lunch. The menu is not particularly memorable, the food is okay. I would not come here for any personal reasons.
Great everything awesome place for business meeting
awesome service, quiet, let us stay and chat for a couple of hours.
Great place to have a business breakfast or lunch. Excellent food and service.
I only had lunch. Food was good but not spectacular. Service was mediocre, at best. However the place was quiet and good for conversation for a business lunch
Good for business.
Came here for a work lunch and it was exactly what we needed. The room was very quiet despite our table being in the center of the room and we had a great server. Our server was very patient and took his time explaining menu items to our group. Most importantly, he never interrupted our discussion which is unique during business lunches lately.
Love this restaurant. My sister and I are frequent diners. I enjoyed the pre-fix lunches. Excellent service from front desk to the waiters.
Food can be hit or miss but is usually good and I really like this place away from the hustle and bustle of the Financial District. The environment is inviting with large windows, attentive staff a it is a great place to actually talk with people as it is quiet.
The last two visits we have had same experience with food lacking ingredients. Very small Omelettes had VERY small amounts of ingredients. Maybe one bite of bacon and could not find cheese in Omelette . Cobb salad was all greens and only sprinkles of bacon, cheese, egg and there was really NOTHING in it.
I have eaten here for a few years but in past few months it has gotten insulting with price vs amount of food.
Park Grill, Le Meridien, San Francisco, CA is on the top of my list as an excellent restaurant --- great food and excellent customer service! See you soon.
Great for business meetings
Excellent location for a business lunch; quiet and efficient.
We did not receive our meal until 50 minutes after arrival and was lukewarm at best, overcooked and moderately portioned. An apology for the kitchen was offered but nothing was comp'd, not even the beverages. If my past experiences had not been so positive, I wouldn't take this time. Your hostess also needs to work on her customer service skills. I hope my next visit is different.
Food was expensive and the service was meh. Good location and quiet, so it worked well enough, still I hope I don't need to go back.
Once again, our dining experience was impeccable. I feel quite fortunate your so close to the office, particularly on this occasion while mentoring one of our summer associate law school students. She was so pleased in fact that she returned the next day for another business lunch. Thank you for always bringing your best!
I only wish that more than 5-stars could be awarded. As usual, everything was exceptional, but our server went one step further by honoring our Birthday guest with a complimentary dessert. I was genuinely touched. By far PGMH is my favorite spot in SF. I love you guys, thank you!!
Very ordinary breakfast at a Hugh price. I had expected to have Buffet breakfast but they weren’t serving ut
Always a joyful dining pleasure and already looking forward to next encounter. Kisses LMPG, M.
We were there for breakfast . Food was okay but service was terrible - slow and they forgot to bring various items we ordered. Good spot for breakfast business meeting though in terms of low noise level and ambiance.
Restaurant smelled strongly of paint. Waiter was absent most of the meal. Scallops were undercooked for most of the folks who ordered them. Fries were cold, and steaks were tough.
Waiter told a great story about eclairs (chef's specialty, made every day, really extraordinary) and all three that we got were mushy and bland. They seemed like they were frozen and reheated.
If this was applebees, that would be totally fine and expected. For a $400 lunch, I won't be back.
Quiet which is why I like this place. A bit pricey but good quality.
As usual, everything was splendid ... start to finish. It feels almost like coming home, each time so thank you very much!
Very disappointing. When we arrived for brunch at 11:30 we were told the restaurant doesn’t offer brunch on the weekend. We had to settle for a quick light lunch. We later went to a nearby restaurant for a meal. Our Sunday plans were completely ruined.
This is an excellent place for a business meal. I ate breakfast here two days in a row and ordered the exact same meal. Service and my scrambled eggs the first day were terrific, but the second day the eggs were overcooked and hard and our waiter disappeared after bringing our food. We had to get up and go to the front to try and pay.
Excellent food, terrific ambiance, adequate service.
I feel quite grateful to have found Park Grill long ago, not just because of their exceptional staff or the fine dining experience with absolute attention to every detail, but because I honestly feel so welcomed and appreciated, just like a member of their extended family. In particular, I'd like to thank Edwin for his yuletdie graciousness and generosity. God Bless, PB ... I look forward to 2018 and beyond!
Because of the holidays, service was not as attentive as it usually is.
Nothing outstanding about the food (at least not in a city like SF with many outstanding options) but if you're looking for a business lunch venue it's ideal.
Nice hotel restaurant. Great service. Clam Chowder soup was huge and good, butshould have been hotter.
