Excellent cheeseburger. Good prices. Service a bit slow (but quite friendly/polite).
The staff were wonderful. It was my cousin’s birthday and the hostess texted me ahead of time to get her name and wrote a sweet personalized card for her!
Other than Manager Mike, everything was super :)
My guest and I will miss the Granderson Charity Burger
Not too touristy, pretty good food, good service. Wasn't blown away, but I'd go there again.
Manager Mike still Rude. Rest still solid and professional.
Good food. Fair service, slow at times. Excellent martini. They got points for the complimentary prosecco after the meal since I said we were there for a celebration.
A Superior Burger & Sides
As usual—Wonderful except for manager mike, again.
Service was excellent food was also excellent
Food was not very good. Service was ok. Live close by...2 blocks...but not going to be a frequent spot for me.
Friendly service, good food. Too loud for a first date.
Went with another couple and sat in back area (quiet). Met someone with a baby that was so cute ! Friendly atmosphere-- perfect for a rainy night. Had a charred Octopus-- really good!
Burgers were excellent. My husband said best he ever had!
No mike, so no unwarranted attack from mike, so all good
Other than verbal assault by Manager Mike, please os Great.
Professional, like their other establishments
The Park Burger was excellent
I wanted a table in a quiet area and it wasn’t. Also, there is a little space tables!
Always great food and service at PAT. Great staff and wonderful bartender. Come for the food, stay for the drink.
This is my fourth time here, always a great meal. Very loud happy hour crowd but it quiets down after 7. Food is relish and the cocktails are great.
Great option for this neighborhood. During the week there's a sizable after-work white collar bar crowd so it can be noisy for dinner. I usually go there on the weekends.
Mediocre food, lackluster drinks, underwhelming service, and way too noisy. Wouldn’t go back if you paid me.
I really wanted to love this place. But, I don't love this place. Sadly, they made us wait 30 minutes (even though we had a reservation) when there were at least 5 tables open. This was no bueno. It was incredibly loud, so forget having a conversation across the table. On the positive, the server was super attentive. Food was OK.
My experience with the restaurant was overall quite disappointing. I booked online and in the requests area said that this was for a birthday and asked to sit near a window. We were not seated near a window, and were actually seated way in the back of the restaurant in a separate room from the main area. Our waiter was not attentive, never checked on us. Bar tender was the one who finally came over and offered us more drinks. For a $200.00 bill for 4 people, the food was just average. I wouldn’t return and would not recommend it.
Another great meal and fantastic service!! My only criticism is that the tables for two are uncomfortably close. You can barely get seated without disturbing other diners.
Still my favorite go to fir brunch, lunch or casual bar scene. Love the staff!!
This place is not far from our apartment but somehow we hadn't tried it before and the reservation was an accident as I thought I was booking Park Avenue Cafe! No matter...we were not really disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very eager to please. Do be aware though that it's not a fine restaurant in the sense that it's got a big bar with the table seating around it. There was a football game on the TVs at the bar and so quite noisy...a little less so after the game ended. I don't view this as a negative...in fact, it's fun. Just be aware. Definitely will go again.
Meet here every time I have lunch with a friend who works nearby. Would rather find another place, but it's too convenient for my friend.
The only reason I don't recommend this place: at lunch it's a mad-house. Noise level way high and it feels as if too many people are packed in even though it seems reasonably spaced out once one is seated. Food is fine though I'd avoid the "pretentious" ones (like an "all greens" salad with blue cheese and "maple bacon balsamic dressing" - dressing was fine but no substance except the occasional walnut to the salad). Pricing is fine; service was excellent - we were seated in a back section that was somewhat quieter than the wall of noise that hits one on entry during the lunch hour. So, if a very, very noisy, bustling place doesn't put you off - fine. Just be sure to make reservations.
Sat right away with OpenTable reservation at 8:30pm for 4 on Friday before Christmas. Ordered burrata and the tuna tartare to start, both fresh and delicious. For meal, had spicy fried chicken sandwich (spicy it was). Others had skirt steak and tomato bisque/grilled cheese which were awesome also. For dessert, we had the cookie skillet; they were out of creme brulet. Skillet was gooey and delicious! Overall, great meal and great ambiance.
Horribly loud. Couldn’t even hear wait staff. Waiter not knowledgeable regarding wine menu or helpful on overall menu. Too busy to provide decent service. Couldn’t wait to leave
The menu had a nice variety for a good price. I had the quinoa which was very flavorful. The atmosphere was nice and location is convienant to midtown hotels. I would definitely return on our next trip to New York City.
Not a good place to watch a game. TVs are too small and there’s no sound.
we love this place! Just a great , comfortable restaurant with friendly staff and really good food.
Loud bar scene . Hopping place for energetic night.
Breakfast crowd. Very friendly wait staff. Food great for the $.
As far as the experience of the restaurant it was great! Nice ambiance great food great friendly service but the open table experience was a bust. They did not honor the reservation and really didn’t give a reason why other than we booked it 30 min or so ahead. Then the clueless hostess kind of just left us to figure it out on our own so we grabbed a spot at the bar. Unfortunately my husband was on the end and some guys decided to use his space as a pick up corner for chicks and drinks. They really were not respecting our space and there was an entire bar rail on the street window side to hang out. The food and service made for a more enjoyable experience but a table would have been better for us on this night. Also bartenders were complaining to another guest about a new chef and menu which is a restaurant no no..I really enjoyed the food so not sure what the complaints are about. I would return to this restaurant for lunch or happy hour time.
Very buzzy tavern style restaurant in a convenient location. We had the spinach and artichoke dip for a starter with the eggplant fries...both delicious, the dip is super cheesy but with nice big chunks of artichoke. Loved the tavern salad with its lemon-truffle dressing and we (3 ladies) share an American burger and veggie-quinoa burger...both excellent. If you want to be able to have quieter ambiance for a conversation, ask for a table in the back room.
Our go-to standard for lunch in mid-town. Varied menu, excellent preparation, and great service. The tomato soup and spinach dip are not to be missed!
One of the best spots just steps from Grand Central.
The location is very convenient and the staff are friendly.
I think this is a great place for lunch. The food is good, they'll serve quickly and the central location makes this a fine choice.
Came here for Thanksgiving dinner. I was left really impressed with their pre-fixed menu for the price. Everything we ate here was good. The restaurant has great ambience with low lighting and big windows so it feels really spacious. It's quiet and private feeling. Would definitely return!
