Edgar Cruz on guitar was a nice surprise. Just the right level of music for a Sunday brunch.
Despite the construction/traffic this was a wonderful location for our special event.
We ate early and there were plenty of open space for other dinners.

This restaurant was very empty and not very good. The food was bland and risotto was greasy. My fiancé had the salmon that was overlooked. The cream brûlée was nice, but the overall experience was not that great. We thought that the history of the hotel was neat, but that was the highlight.
The food and service were excellent. My date and I were staying at the hotel for the post-Valentine's Day weekend and I made dinner reservations in anticipation that it would be very crowded. Surprisingly it was not and the live music was a bit loud, probably from the hard surfaces inside and lack of occupants to absorb the sound. That being said, the musicians were great. The prime rib was very good and I would definitely have it there again.
We were celebrating my friends’ 60 th birthday. The food was fabulous. We went somewhere else on our second night but food no where near as good. The service was great!! Sterling was our server and he was terrific. He gave good selection suggestions and has a delightful personality. It was a lovely and memorable evening.
The food was amazing but, if I’m going to drop 200+ on dinner, it needs to be more romantic. I felt like I was in Applebee’s or a low grade restaurant. Not private at all and the tables were all within a foot of each other. I could have spent the same amount of money, if not less, and gone to Vast at the Devon tower and been “in the clouds” overlooking the city while we ate.
Valentine's Day dinner. Tasty food, beautiful atmosphere, attentive staff. It was a perfect night.
This was our choice for Valentines Day romantic dinner. We were very disappointed with almost everything. The lobster bisque tasted like flour. The calamari was obviously frozen because it was rubbery in texture. The main course, the Salmon...which was recommended, was overcooked and cold---believe it or not. The service was marginal at best. However the ambiance was good and the noise level was good for a romantic evening. The location was good, but food and service was marginal for the price.
Sterling was our waiter and he was so much fun. Excellent waiter, made great suggestions, very personable. We really enjoyed our visit!
They had a limited Christmas menu, we asked for there full menu ( twice) but was told it was available. After we ordered off of the Christmas menu we noticed the table next to us was ordering off of the full menu. I was very disappointed.Once we received our food my prime rib wasn't cooked as ordered and the baked potato was no more than a potato wedge like you would get on a appetizers plate. There was no vegetable, and no salad was offered. Won't go back to this restaurant.
I did not know you had an outdoor eating area. Would like to have seen it.
Fantastic!! Best filet I've ever had. Side dishes were excellent also. First time there, but we will definetly be back.
My husband and I ate at Park Avenue for Thanksgiving. For starters, the soup was luke warm and the salad a little wilted. My husband got the turkey, which was way too salty even for a brine. I got the lobster pasta which was mainly noodles and not much taste. Our side of green beans was not quite done, but the rye bread stuffing was pretty good. My husband got pumpkin pie for dessert, which was thin and a little stale and my carrot cake was somewhat dried out.
Christmas lunch for my mother.... Great food, Great service... Will do again...
Nice location and dining area. We ordered the prime rib special which includes prime rib, a salad, a side and dessert for a good price. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant on a very busy downtown evening, service was slow and lacking. The waitress was friendly and tried to be helpful in a social way but her table service was only fair. Salads were ok- bacon tasted old. The prime rib and the mushrooms were room temperature. The only really good dish was the au gratin potatoes. The dessert seemed like a frozen pie from the grocery store. I want this restaurant to do well as it is in a wonderful hotel in a wonderful downtown location. Could be so good. But it’s not.
Loved the new "Grill' forward chef inspired menu. Steaks were prepared perfect and sides were creative as well as delicious. Park Ave Grill has changed for the better and is amazing!
There was no one to seat us when we got there, although we had reservations. Then, apparently, they did now show that we were there insofar as Open Table is concerned. The wait staff was friendly. The menu was limited, and the food itself was average. For three of us at lunch, with three sandwiches, two desserts and one iced tea, the bill was over $70, including tip.
Just tried. Good for 1 visit only. Good music but not much choices on food.
We came here for brunch on our anniversary. We thought (via the open table app) that there was a brunch deal offering 2 specialty drinks, 1 small plate brunch appetizer and unlimited brunch favorite items for $30. Once we were seated we asked about the deal and they got the manager to come out and tell us that was "old and they don't honor that anymore". We were disappointed but there were menu items we still wanted to try so we decided to go ahead and order. I had wanted to try the blackberry waffle with pistachios -- as soon as I ordered our waitress said they were "completely out of waffles". Brunch said it ran from 10-3pm and this was 1:00pm and they were out of waffles and wouldn't make any more. That was the last straw. We left. They didn't try to stop us. We feel very mislead by the ratings and information on OpenTable. The deal needs to be taken off if they aren't going to honor it. Maybe our experience wasn't the norm, but we didn't feel valued there, had a horrible experience and we won't be back.
We went for dinner before Paul McCartney an hour and a half before showtime. They were short staffed and tried their best, but ultimately we rushed through dinner and the check to get there on time. They should have been better prepared for an evening event.
I had not eaten here in the last couple of years and was disappointed at the lackluster meal.
My salmon was plain and nothing special with broccoli that was underwhelming.
For the price I would expect a much better meal.
There were 5 in our party. I had the wedge salad (blt) and it was more like a mini wedge. There were 3 chunks of salad, approximately 6 small pieces of bacon and 6 pieces of tomatoes. One would have thought for $13 there might have been more bang for your buck.
The others in our party were not to terrible impressed with their lunch choices as well but none quite as unimpressive as mine. I thought the Skirvin would have had more impressive food choices than what we experienced today.
Don't believe I would recommend or return.
We dined on the braised bison short rib and their natural pork chop, and both were excellent!
I have had problems the last few times I have come here. We waited at least 5 minutes after having our reservtion acknowledged. We felt ignored. The floor by hostess area looked positively dirty. We had a server in training who insisted on giving me the wrong entree. I had ordered a blt salad and she tried to give me an entree that had no lettuce or tomatoes. She apologized, but honestly why didn't she just use her eyes. The food was fine, but I don't think I'll be coming back. They need to get some better servers.

I have always enjoyed lunch at the Park Avenue Grill. It has improved since they revamped the lunch changing from a buffet to menu lunch style.
Manager was friendly gave all the mom's a rose, waitress was great, Edgar Cruz on guitar, great new chef and menu.. 5 stars!!
Took my mother here for Mother's Day brunch. We had more than one issue with this meal, such as my drink coming out well after my meal even though the drink was ordered far before. After a manager came to the table and asked how things were I made sure to let him know of our issues, and they compensated for everything that was wrong. They may not get everything right to start, but they definitely listen to complaints and try to keep customers coming back. Overall, a decent experience.
Service is great.
Pre-concert meal. Food was good, nothing out of this world. Service a little slow c side ring we were there early in the evening and there were only a few other tables occupied. Prices about what you would expect in a upper tier hotel restaurant.
A really good place to meet friends for a relaxing meal. Had good food, great service and got to stop in and see the artist in residence at work.

Love the Skirvin!! The waitress was very helpful. They have changed the menu options to ala carte instead of the all-inclusive brunch. Makes it harder to choose! Fun was good and the surroundings fabulous as always.
