The food on the buffet was not fresh. Reminded me of something I could get at a budget hotel. Very disappointing. The service was mediocre and they appeared unprepared. They had to set up a table for two and there was barely anyone else in the restaurant. I won't be returning.

I will most definitely be going back to this restaurant. Even though our steak was not cooked how we like it the first time, they corrected that error and gave us two deserts on the house. The ambience was perfect. Nice and quiet. Service was excellent.

To begin the waiter knew nothing about the menu. The food came out and it was absolutely horrible. I ordered mac & cheese with substitution of salmon and the salmon was absolutely amazing. The mac & cheese was dead cold in no flavor no seasoning not the cheese taste that you’re looking for when you go out to eat for mac & cheese Then the pieces came out and they were actually horrible. They were the pizza was worth it in a convenient store pizza convenient store. Once we complained about the food, not one time or one time, the manager came out and asked us about water and drinks but after that management did not come out at all, I highly do not recommend this place for dining or a quick bite to eat it is highly disappointing. And the crazy thing was there was absolutely no one else in the entire restaurant, but my birthday party group and for the food to come out cold was crazy and then the manager just never came to say apologize or even some type of sympathy, if they even care.

The quality of the service, food, and ambience have taken a nose dive compared with the experience I had several years ago. I made a reservation but when I arrived they could not access their own system. We had to seat ourselves (at a fine dining restaurant). The service was much too casual for the setting and the food was mediocre at best.

Waitress was very friendly but everything went wrong. It took almost 3 hours from the time we sat down to the time we finally got the check. One meal came out late. They said it would be ready in 3 minutes, but it took 20 minutes. $50 steak cooked MR was somehow charred in spots. Menu in restaurant was different than menus online. Their banquet food is better than their restaurant food. It took 25 minutes to pay after we asked for check.

The food was good, but nothing outstanding and over priced. For the same price and better quality I would go to one of the numerous great restaurants in the area instead of here. Unfortunately I am on a knee scooter after surgery and this was more convenient while staying at the Skirvin Hotel.

The pizza crust was freezer burnt. The pita bread for our appetizer has part of the plastic wrapper in it. Needless to say we didn't eat much. So for $98 a dinner for two wasn't a very good value. Service was good but all in all I'd say go somewhere else.

My wife and I came here for Valentine’s Day and instead of ordering off the menu, we were given a 5 course meal without any other option or any notice that’s how it would be. While waiting, all workers seemed to be sprinting everywhere they went and somehow all food was late. Managers did not know what tables to give the food to, steak was over cooked, and no price was given so without knowing how much money we were going to spend or even what to expect to get fed, we just went along with it. The bill came out to nearly $200 and the menu we planned for was roughly $20 an item. Maybe come here for a normal day but any holidays I highly do not recommend.

We had a reservation for 6:30pm and arrived on time. As soon as we walked in the hostess told us it would be an hour and a half wait. When I reminded her we had a reservation, she looked very puzzled and said our table would be ready shortly. We waited until 7pm and never saw anyone come back to the host stand. We saw open tables in the restaurant but no one was cleaning them. If we had waited any longer to be seated, then we would have missed our next engagement. This restaurant needs to shut down until they have enough help.

We went for dinner on New Years Eve, they did not have any advertisements that they would be serving a special menu, so we went in expecting to order from the normal menu, definitely a bit of a bummer as the lobster ravioli sounded really good! We were seating nearly immediately as we had reservations, that was a plus! But then we waited around 24 minutes before we were ever greeted by our server. We legitimately considered leaving and going to another restaurant because we had already wasted nearly 30 minutes of our evening without even being greeted for food or drink options. The plated menu was small, with only one salad option, 3 entree options, and one desert option. We decided we would give it a shot despite being disappointed the menu we had browsed online was not available. Once we finally got greeted, Dee our server was nice and kind, but seems like management poorly equipped her for the evening. That seems like a very poor business idea to only have one server and especially on a major service holiday. The salad came out pretty quickly, which was nice but not hard to believe since there was only one salad option. The kale was crisp and what little red wine vinaigrette we could find was delicious but definitely wish they had more generous with the dressing. The entrees came out relatively quickly and were the perfect temperature. I ordered the Sea bass and my girlfriend ordered the chicken. Both our dishes came with a cheesy risotto that came straight from heaven. My dish came with “crispy” Brussels that were a little undercooked but still good and hers came with green beans that were cooked well. My Seabass was a bit dry and a little on the tough side but the flavor was great. My dates chicken was cooked to perfection and we both agreed it was the best thing on the table. The only desert option was a tartlet with fresh fruit and I thought it was great but my date didn’t care for it. Overall, service was a complete miss but the food was great!

It has taken me three months to decide if I should write anything about my New Year’s Eve Eve experience. I booked this for our groups NYE celebration. No one greeted us at the host stand. Then it took 10 minutes for someone to notice we were waiting. The table was not ready but this was not a big deal. We waited over 15 minutes for a server to take our drink order then another 15 minutes for our drinks that never came. My friend in our group went to speak to the manager. To this day, we still have not heard from the manager. I will not be going back there any time soon. My entire group lives downtown OKC and we were hoping for a good experience to be able to return but unfortunately this did not happen. I love the bartender at the piano bar and will continue to go to the bar but never again the restaurant. This is a OKC staple hotel to our downtown, you would think with the newer hotels in the area the experience here would be of a five star.

The restaurant used to be one of our favorites in downtown OKC. Sadly, this is no longer the case. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived for our reservation. After 10 minutes of waiting, another party arrived and finally went to the front desk of the hotel to see about seating. I had the airline chicken with risotto. The chicken was so overcooked the outer layer was like jerky. Even the gravy couldn't rehydrate it. The risotto was crunchy with a glue-like consistency. My husband had the balsamic tofu dish but the balsamic was so strong he couldn't eat more than a few bites-- my husband loves strong balsamic flavors that would send many running but even he said it was inedible. The entire experience was disappointing and not what one would expect at this price point or in this hotel. For the same amount of money, you can walk 2 minutes down the street and eat at Tellers.

This was not our first special event here, but this was not the five-star experience we usually enjoy. This rather expensive Christmas Eve dinner was underwhelming. No breads ever offered at the table. No substitutions allowed at all. We had a diner who hated beets, and was not allowed to substitute a different side. I understand limiting changes, but these plates were supposedly freshly prepared. That should not have been a problem. Ev very one of the three entrees we ordered just kin d of missed the mark. Good sized portions, but just not anything special. We usually get much more interesting food at the Park Avenue Grill.

This would be a nice place if they had the staff to run it. It took 2 hours to get our food and we were one of 3 tables. They were out of a few items and they need to learn the proper way to serve wine. By that, I mean allowing the person that ordered the bottle to taste it before pouring the glasses. That is a training issue but the delay in being served will unfortunately make us select other options next time we were in town. We spent almost $600 and we expected more for that amount.

We dined at 6 pm on a Friday evening. We had made a reservation, but didn’t really need one at this time. The restaurant was beautiful and historic. The place was nearly empty, so we had a lot of personal attention from our waitress. She was great. There is a piano bar across the lobby that is louder and more active. Some may prefer that environment, but we were looking for a quiet experience so the dining room suited us better. The salmon was phenomenal, lobster ravioli was a little rich but flavorful. Our daughter enjoyed the Gouda Mac. Crab cake appetizer was just mediocre. Our waitress went above and beyond to find our daughter a dessert after she had asked for ice cream (which they didn’t have.) We were very happy with the service. There was a large party dining in a private room in the back of the restaurant. They were walking back and forth through the dining area to get to their room from the bar. Many of these guests were loud and obnoxious. Their behavior (swearing and shouting) wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, but the layout of the space lent itself to this issue. I would have appreciated someone speaking with them, especially as we were dining with our 10-year-old. Overall, it was still a nice experience with good food and wine but a few issues to work out.

The Park Avenue Grill was a good start for the evening, even though the restaurant was very loud. Service was slow. Since we were scheduled for another event, we had to eat quickly when we finally got our food. The food was very good. The staff members were cheerful and responsive to us. We recommend this restaurant for a lovely evening. Just don't go when you have a time crunch.

Our reservation was on time and the table was in a good location. There seemed to be a confusion on who our waiter was and service was just a little slow, but we weren’t in a hurry so it was fine. Party of six was served four entrees but had to ask twice where last 2 were. Escargot was missing one esc …. The rest were overly salty. Limited menu and when I tried to order the duck was told they were out …. at 5:30 in the early evening. Seemed help was confused with what food went to what table. The manager attempted amends by providing two deserts. Let’s be generous by chalking up the experience to supply side demands and labor shortages.

If I could rate this restaurant no stars, I would. I made a reservation about 4 days in advance for yesterday, Friday night at 5:15. We had looked forward to it for several days. We had an event to go to after dinner and had planned out our time exactly. When I reserved, I received an email verification. Then the day before I received a text reminder from the restaurant of which I confirmed our reservation. Got to the hotel a little early. Had a very good drink in the hotel bar and waited. When we walked over to the restaurant, it was closed. When I finally found someone to ask, he said that they were closed until 7 for jazz night. That this was just how their jazz night goes on Friday. I asked why I was able to book a reservation and get a confirmation. He said he didn’t know. I kept calm and said that they needed to get that fixed. His reply was that no one is perfect. We had to scrambled to find food before our event. Very disappointing. Life is too short and not worth getting overly upset about such things, but buyer beware. Very unprofessional and uncaring.

Our Private Dining Room (PDR) is able to accommodate groups ranging from 5 to 25 people in an elegant board room setting. The PDR is great for a morning breakfast or lunch meeting and can accomodate light av use. For dinner it is the perfect locale for a multi course wine dinner or special occassion event. Additionally, we have the east third of the Park Avenue Grill which can be a private location for groups from 30 to 55. Package menus as well as custom menus available to meet your taste and expectations.
