This restaurant is consistently delicious. We went for lunch and both the items from the regular menu and the day's specials were most enjoyable! Service was excellent, and the ambiance is wonderful. It is one of our favorite restaurants!

We have dined at Paris 66 a number of times, usually for breakfast or brunch, and have never been disappointed. It is a small, casual bistro in the European style with a French menu that supports the ambiance. Its a wonderful place to get together with our grown children and everyone enjoys the experience. The wait staff is attentive but not hovering. The food is delicious. We make certain to sample the onion soup, quiche lorraine and crepes when we visit. This trip we ordered breakfast pastries (Pannier Gourmand) for the table, and now have a new favorite for our next visit.

Servers were the nicest, most helpful people ever. A bit of a delay between appetizer and main. Food good but some things a little pricey. Nonetheless, lovely for a special occasion and I recommend!

From the first taste of the French onion soup my tastebuds were overwhelmed by the rich flavors. The experience was sustained through the rest of the meal consisting of scallops, veal, escargot, and finishing with crepes. Service was authentic French and very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Our go-to restaurant... we love French food and Paris 66 never disappoints. This bistro is authentic without being fancy French. The menu can be elaborate or simple depending on your mood or budget....it's all there to savor and enjoy!

The food is fine. Mont Blanc could be better with less sugar. The service is lousy. It is certainly better in France.

We had brunch here to celebrate a birthday. Sat on the enclosed patio--which was heated, toasty warm, not crowded--very pleasant. The food was spectacular--every bite reminded us of the city of Paris. All in all, one of the best family celebrations ever.

I wish I spoke French better to converse with the very authentic waitress. Everything we had great and three (of four) of us all had the same foie gras appetizer and duck main course. We enjoyed cocktails and dessert as well as a nice wine from their extensive list. When we visit Pittsburgh again, we'll certainly return to Paris 66.

We had a lovely Sunday brunch in the patio room, and enjoyed the infusion of light when the restaurant rolled back the ceiling to reveal the sky. The omelette special was wonderful, as were the croissants and profiteroles for dessert. Excellent coffee. Considerate service. Most important, we never felt rushed and were able to enjoy quiet conversation. We will definitely return.

I thought the food was very good! My only complaint is that my meal cane with potatoes and I don’t eat those and asked for a vegetable! They told me the chef could not do that! I ordered a salad to start! When my meal came they gave me another salad ! They told me I could pay for an order of a vegetable! Really for a $35 entree they could not give me a vegetable! I think it’s ridicules that they could not swap out a potato dish for a vegetable but they could if I wanted to pay extra! I did not appreciate that!

It was disappointing as most reviews of Paris 66 were excellent the menu looked amazing. Perhaps the head chef was off the night of our visit, but aside from the excellent service and the excellent creme brûlée, we found the food average. My plate came to the table luke warm with cold vegetables, the sauces were not refined and my husband's filet had been butterflied and both of my husband and son's filets were tough. We also returned my husband's plate due to the apparent butterflying, but when returned the cut was weird; it was still tough and the shape was odd - we even questioned if it was a filet. Perhaps this was just an off night for the kitchen staff...the appetizers were also not the quality we'd expected based on not only the reviews by the pricing as well. The creme brûlée (which I always ask to have the center warmed) was excellent!

I’ve only had lunch here before so thought dinner was worth a try. Perhaps a little pretentious but I enjoyed my meal. The bouillabaisse broth was actually better than the seafood but both were good. My friend’s trout looked amazing. I burned my fingers on the escargot plate and the staff was helpful. The service was efficient if not friendly. The back patio was quiet and allowed for conversation. My pear tart was quite good and I’m glad it was recommended. Overall it was a pleasant evening.

Our Paris 66 dinner date was a gathering of friends to celebrate a birthday. Our friends raved about the ambience and food offerings, as this was their first time visit. Our waiter Renauld was wonderfully attentive, and he added to the French flair with his accent, sense of humor, and knowledge of French cooking. Only snag was an early (6:00) out of stock on scallops and French beer, which was not a big issue as we compromised with trout and French rose wine. Wonderful evening!

This is a difficult review since two of the three people in my party very much enjoyed the restaurant. I enjoyed some of the food, all of the wines and some of the service.I did not enjoy the disappearing server, the more than 50% undisclosed upcharge above the next highest entree on the menu for the lamb special, particularly since some of the lamb seemed to have been added to the dish to appear more numerous although less tasty. It was not the $49 price it was the quality and undisclosed lack of value to taste. The frogs legs were enjoyed as well as the mussels and the escargot. A $300 check is ok if the value to taste is commensurate, for me it was not.

A French restaurant always seems like a good choice for an anniversary, and it didn't disappoint. My husband had the lamb ribs and I had scallops with tapenade and mushroom risotto. For dessert, we had creme brulee and almond pear tart. The white sauvignon was excellent too. If you order a special, that's not on the menu. be sure to inquire about the price.

Food was disappointing and over priced.
My coq au vin was dry, which doesnt seem possible, but was.
My wife's duck was well prepared but the sauce was so sweet it ruined it.

We won't be back, which is a Shame since we love French food

We elected to somewhere else for dessert to not be disappointed again.
