Paris 66 is just a great place to have an authentic French bistro experience. The ambiance, wait staff and food is truly excellent and memorable. We go there frequently because they are consistently exceptional in the execution of the dining experience. Love the native French speaking waiters. They are friendly, attentive and go out of their way to assure you have a wonderful experience. Go! You’ll love it!
I have been to Paris 66 several times. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. After working at Balthazar in NYC, Paris 66 is the only place in Pittsburgh I can find real French onion soup! The staff are French and are wonderful. I love everything that I have had on the menu. It is worth the money and time to get to!
We were seated right away with our reservation time. Service was excellent. Tables are a little small. With tableware, plates, candles and appetizer plates it was a little crowed. Food was excellent and we plan on coming back with our friends for the summer menu. No matter what dessert you think you want, get the creme brulee. Absolute heaven in your mouth.
Absolutely delightful. Renaud was perfect too; great service without overly asking is all OK, knowledgeable about the entire drink/food menu, and very friendly and professional. Cute, too. Will def be back.
Love the food here. It’s a must stop for us every time we’re in Pittsburgh. Such a beautiful, authentic French bistro/restaurant. Every dish we tried has so far exceeded our expectations!!
This is a place we come to often and it is always a great experience. From a soup and a salad, or just crepe, to a full dinner, there is something for everyone anytime. The service is wonderful and friendly.
Delicious, savory, and delightful. Making the food aspect even more superb was the warm and inviting friendliness of the staff....made us feel like we were back in Paris at one of the great neighborhood restaurants!
Scrumptious bakery items...must have.
A mediocre brunch served by a snooty waitress. Please, more smiles and less pretentious attitudes
Delicious food and polite, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
Delicious French cuisine, wonderful wine selection, exceptional wait-staff and owners that always make you feel at home. Paris 66 is a favorite for me and my husband.
We came to Pittsburgh but ended up in Paris. A real bistro atmosphere. Two filets with frites, a cassoulet and a coq au vin. Super generous potions. We all agreed we loved our food. We have lemon tarts to eat at home. I’d go for lunch to try the crepes. Good service.
Our meal was good, good portion sizes and taste. Everything was fine, but nothing blew us away.
The service was great, our waitress explained all the dishes and gave her insight. 4 stars since nothing on our meal was outstanding.
We had such a great time and even had escargot which were delicious.
My friend who has been to Paris said the Canard patait was good too.
Fantastic French cuisine. Many of the staff speak French and were very helpful. Our waiter explained to us not only what the dishes were, but how and WHY they were prepared the way they were prepared. A pricey night out but the food, service, and quality were all great.
Went for Easter and had the special Easter brunch menu. It was excellent and even though our reservation wasn't until the early afternoon and the staff had already had a long day they were fantastic. The entire experience was great.
First time at Paris 66, authentic French with incredible atmosphere. We were seated in the extension patio, where is the summer open air. Very nice and will return when the weather clears in Pittsburgh to enjoy the open authentic dining
je vous remercie
Paris 66 is an adorable restaurant, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff is exceptional, these three things were perfect. The food however was very disappointing, the Escargot appetizer in garlic butter & parsley had no garlic flavor & way to much parsley, the lamb was cooked to perfection where it just fell off of the bone but had no taste, nor did the whipped carrots that came with it. Everything was so bland. The martini that I had was delicious and so was the chocolate mousse, but for the price that we paid for our meal $130.00 plus tip, it was very disappointing. The other strange thing was that there were no salt or pepper shakers on any of the tables. I don't know, maybe because it was Easter Brunch and they were busy but for the price I am not willing to risk it again. I am not bothered putting out that kind of money for a meal but if I do I expect it to be delicious which it was not. I am so disappointed, I was so looking forward to going there. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Took my niece here for Easter Brunch .... couldn't have been more perfect! We were seated in the heated back patio and it was simply charming. Great service and amazing food. I highly recommend.
Was very disappointed in the holiday menu and much higher prices than normal Sunday brunch. Makes me hesitate to go back.
Food was delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. Didn’t have soufflé which is one of the reasons I choose a French restaurant. The macaroons were very good though.
Great food, wine and service-Marie was incredible and it was like being served and attended to by a true friend...we'll be back again and again.
Great delicious food, great staff, great atmosphere, expensive
We always enjoy this restaurant. Great food and service. Friendly relaxed and attentive. We will be back
Just the Best restaurant in Pittsburgh!!! Beautiful wine list /cocktails. Marie-lise is wonderful, sweet , and so professional! I definitely be back!!!!
We have never once had less than a spectacular dinner experience at Paris 66. From the warm greeting the moment you walk in the door, to the atmosphere, the fresh ingredients and beautiful food presentation, the wine selection, the delicious desserts and, by far, the best service in the city.
It's a little piece of Europe, hidden in the city.
We love it and will continue to return again, and again.
We just love this restaurant! It is authentic French food in a charming setting.
Delicious. Outstanding rack of lamb. No better French onion soup anywhere.
We have been coming to Paris 66 for a few years. It's an experience. They staff are always friendly. We especially love when we have the native French staff serving us. They make the experience the best! They are very willing to educate us on the dishes and areas where some entrees are from in France. They are very knowledgeable on their wine as well.
Paris 66 is always a lovely place for a quiet meal or a meal with friends - consistently good food and excellent service
Great French restaurant and the wait staff will help you brush up on your French! Love it!
Magnifique! Food was excellent and our server was delightful and super professional.
Our experience at Paris 66 was OK but not up to par with the prices. We had reservations for 4 people and were seated as we arrived. It took more than 10 minutes for a server to stop by our table. We ordered drinks which also took a while to arrive. One person ordered the filet which she said was good. I ordered the duck which was overcooked and I could barely cut through the skin. My husband had the pork shank which he said was good but vegetables were flavorless. The bill for the 4 of us with drinks was $400+. We ordered a few glasses of wine but only 1 or 2 per person. There are other great restaurants in Pittsburgh with much better food and service.
Great service and great food! Authentic French dishes made us feel like we were back on our honeymoon in Paris!
We had an amazing experience and incredible dinner. We celebrated my husband’s birthday. Our server was fantastic!! The meal was superb! We will definitely go back again.
We love Paris and were looking forward to an authentic French restaurant in Pittsburgh. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food was excellent and exactly as we remember from our trip to France and our waitress, Marie-Lise was wonderful. My daughter already said she wants to go back for her birthday this summer. This is now our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh.
Extremely disappointing first visit to this restaurant on Valentine’s Day. The volume of reservations was clearly overwhelming for both the kitchen and waitstaff. The food was not particularly good and my entree arrived to the table cold. My dining partner said the Filet Mignon was “TV dinner style”. Portion sizes were small and the cost (more than $100/person with auto gratuity included for the Valentine’s Day menu) was exorbitant given the quality of the experience.
Place is good, food is good too but is little pricey. And there were less options as was in the online menu. If there was different menu for any special occasion, they should have updated in the website or at least in the confirmation email
The cuisine was extraordinary, but the bill was ridiculously overpriced. I've dined at some of the finest restaurants in New York City and didn't pay even half the price of Bistro 66. Their pricing needs a serious reality check.
Food and service were amazingly good, but take out a loan before you make a reservation here.
Now that we are retired, we have come to the conclusion that a Valentine’s Day lunch in a favorite restaurant is preferable to a Valentine’s Day dinner. We don’t miss the crowds, the wait times or the higher prices in the evening. We booked a late lunch at Paris 66 and took along 2 friends and a favorite bottle of wine - for a reasonable $15 corkage fee. The food was fabulous. Rave reviews for the fois gras, the buckwheat crepes, a silky butternut squash soup and divine smoked salmon and goat cheese quiche. The beautiful Marie-Lise is a knowledgeable and welcoming server. And the whole experience is almost as good as a quick trip to a Paris cafe. We all decided that Valentine’s Day lunch at Paris 66 is a tradition worth continuing!
