A fantastic restaurant. Delicious food. We will come again. We will recommend it to friends.
We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Paris 66 sitting on the patio. The menu selections were excellent. We enjoyed the Paris 66 buckwheat crepe, daily special quiche with tomato & goat cheese (very fluffy), ham & cheese sandwich, and asparagus omelette. The pear tart with Calvados was excellent as was the French toast. The fresh brewed coffee options (cappuccino , macchiato and espresso) were very robust. Our server was a lovely French woman who was very personable and efficient. Great brunch option!
Amazing food and service thank you for always giving us an excellent experience
Excellent food and service
Our server was very friendly and attentive. The space is quaint and comfortable. The wine list is extensive (and pricey) and champagne is $23 per glass. A small artichoke appetizer was tasty but $17. My steak frites was well prepared but the burgundy sauce was a bit overwhelming. The frites were disappointing. The chicken was slightly over cooked and here too the sauce overcame the dish. Next time I’d like to try the fish.
Service was slow. They didn’t disclose the price for the specials which were expensive. Food was just average for the price you pay. Escargot were very small. I heard great things but was disappointed when I ate there. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back there again.
The staff is so friendly right from the start when you arrive to a cheerful “Bon Soirée!” when you walk in the door.
We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for our table outside on the back porch!
The pace of our meal was great and the service was great!
We had a lovely time - special occasion dining but very comfortable- felt like our personal neighborhood restaurant!
Save room for the macaron!! They’re amazing!
Never disappoints in food, service and atmosphere. Thank you.
First off. I loved this restaurant. I came for a date night and it was wonderful! thank you. I do have one complaint and it is minor. The table. We were initially placed outside at a two-top table with one chair hovering over the steps that went to the road. This table was very awkward and not a good place to sit. However, we asked for a new table and it happened without question! The rest of the meal was amazing, unrushed, and absolutely delicious! Thank you.
Love it, as always!
We were lucky to find shelter on the porch for several hours where we shared a fabulous brunch delivered by an amazing server. If you arrive at dinner, be sure and have the Roquefort mussels; they are amazing!
Staff is incredible, from the host to wait staff to cooks. Everyone great. And food is top notch.
We go to Paris 66 regularly. The attention to detail and consistent quality keep drawing us back as well as the relaxed atmosphere. Marie-Lise leads and has built a fabulous service team and always seems to be in two places at once. Looking forward to our next visit!
We went to Paris 66 for our 7 year anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. We don't have a lot of French restaurants where we are from so we were really looking forward to this. Our server was very helpful in deciding on what dishes were best, and his descriptions were on point. When he heard it was our anniversary they gave us complimentary macaroons, which were amazing. If you are looking for a nice quiet dinner, but with a little attention and direction so that you get the best experience, I would recommend Paris 66.
If you decide to go, I would recommend Magret de Canard aux Griottes.
We often recommend Paris 66 and in this case brought 2 neighbors who had not been to P 66 previously. Our server was very pleasant but service was slower than usual, and you were out of Coq au Vin, which I ordered. I was completely satisfied with the trout, which I ordered instead. We'll be back.
Very nice and friendly waiter. Pleasant experience
Magnifigue! Every time we go to Pittsburg we always make sure to dine at Paris 66. The food is always outstanding, the restaurant is charming and cozy and the waitstaff is incredible! Creme brulee is out of this world and every bit as good as I had in Paris.
Authentic French cuisine in a quaint restaurant with wonderful ambience would highly recommend
Delicious brunch! Wonderful to be able to talk to one another easily. Noise level was perfect. Service was great. Loved the experience!
Great outdoor seating. Food and drink quality were outstanding, as was the service.
Very nice place. The only thing is I did not like the house salad. I feel romaine would be
A better choice. Very enjoyable evening. Charming place
Paris 66 is one of our favorite Pittsburgh restaurants! Food is authentic, awesome and consistent. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere is lovely.
Although we’ve been regulars for over a decade, we keep coming back and we’ve never once, had less than a 4
Star experience. The food is sublime, the service cannot be best by any restaurant in the city and Renaud and Marie-Lise always make us feel like we’re at home. Merci mom ami
The food is very good and the price is reasonable considering the quality. The presentation is really similar to typical restaurants in France, rather simple and pleasant. I found the wines to be expensive enough that I opted for the carafe, pricey itself at $34 for 4 modest glasses. The night we were there the fixed price menu included a steak option. As a result, the restaurant was a bit smokey from the grill.
First time there. I am sorry we did not know about this place sooner. Was impressed with the entire experience. Will go back and will recommend to others.
This place will give you a feeling of eating food in Paris, but your wallet will disagree. We had a 3 course meal and about two drinks each for about $140. When my wife and I eat in Paris, we usually pay about 30 to 50 euros for a 3 course meal each, with drinks. So one can see how overpriced the food is here. However, it is all about supply and demand, and the demand is high with a low supply of French restaurants. Regardless, my wife and I will continue to dine here, we just wish that food was more affordable like it is in Paris, France.
We visited Paris 66 for the first time during Restaurant Week. It seems that was a mistake. We ordered from the limited choices (2) on the Restaurant Week menu (we were a party of 4). Service was slow. All of us had chosen the salad, which was quite good ( mixed greens with warm chevre coated croutons and a pleasant, light dressing). The rest of the meal was disappointing. Three of our party had ordered the steak frites. The steaks were ordered rare or medium rare, but arrived well done - and not tasty - although the frites were OK. I ordered the scallops with linguine - not good - three rather tasteless scallops on a large bowl of rather soft pasta with a minimal amount of some kind of tomato based sauce with little flavor. Desserts were adequate, but certainly not special. Three of us had the Clafouti aux cerises, which was a refrigerated square with black cherries, hardly what I would call a tart. I think Paris 66 was not prepared to do Restaurant Week well. I'm guessing their regular menu may be better, but their prices seemed higher than was reflected in the quality we experienced.
Excellent food and excellent service
Delicious food in a warm and welcoming environment
We always have a good experience at Paris 66. Great food and service.
Paris 66 is the best French restaurant in Pittsburgh. Probably Pennsylvania. I have been to Paris, and the vibe is so reminiscent of that beautiful city.
Sit on the patio if possible. Delicious food, great service. A bit pricey.
Après plusieurs années, le Bistro Paris 66 reste notre coin préféré pour la cuisine française à Pittsburgh. C'est devenu une tradition familiale, surtout comme ce resto est le seul de cette catégorie qui ouvre pour les heures du déjeuner.
Food was wonderful!
Magnificent meal! Excellent service, beautiful, delicious food. Wholeheartedly recommended!
My friend had the Croque Monsier, which was delicious. I had the salad Nicosia. The tuna was not properly seared and not well spiced. Service was charming. In general, we have been very happy with the food at Paris 66.

Very European feel, which we really liked. One of the main courses wasn't quite right, so they made another one and then comped two desserts.
My monkfish entrée was well prepared and flavorful. My partner's pork tenderloin was seriously overcooked. It was dried out and barely edible.
used to be one of our favorites
