We had a wonderful Sunday brunch with our sons over the Thanksgiving weekend. We love sitting on the patio and enjoying a leisurely brunch. The food was very good--we had the quiche of the day and a Salmon Benedict with Mimosas. We love the wait staff and their willingness to sit and enjoy our food and drinks without rushing.
Excellent service and atmosphere. Escargot was the best I’ve had except in New York City, the omelettes we’re fluffy and the buckwheat crepe was a wonderful treat for a gluten free girl. The family left content and satisfied.
Took family there for dinner and everyone was very very happy with the overall experience. I would go back.
The food was terrible. The beef bourgionion was nothing but pot roast, the Cassolore was served so unappetizing. Food is overpriced as well. This was a business dinner and I was quite embarrassed. The bright spot was the waiter...he was good. The restaurant on a winter evening was 80 degree. we were told they are not allowed to turn the airconditioning on. The opened the front door when I complained about the heat.
This restaurant is not the quality it used to have. Something has gone wrong. It was not worth $271.00 for 4 people. I will not return
It was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and our server was amazing. He gave great suggestions on what to order and was very nice with us given that we were there late.
Extremely authentic French food and friendly staff.
Went with a group of 10 people for Saturday lunch on break from a workshop....and we all had to be somewhere shortly afterwards. They got everything out happily and timely for us without us having the sense of feeling rushed and everyone at the table loved their dishes and the restaurant! I had the calves liver which was amazing and the best liver I’ve ever had. What a delight, we loved it! Can’t wait to go again!
Delicious and authentic. I would definitely come back again.
We were left somewhat flat in our experience. My wife has wanted to eat here for some time. We went here for her birthday which I noted in my reservation. No recognition of her birthday was provided. We were literally the first people in for dinner at 5:30. My wife's first two requests for tea were met with they didn't have them. We ordered the tart flambe as an app which came out in a crepe which was more like a tortilla. The flavor was excellent but the base was undercooked which detracted from the dish. The waitress was very pleasant but getting our mains took very long. Quality of the mains was quite good. We ordered deserts and coffee which took even longer to get. When they finally arrived we got an apology but I feel there should have been some communication as to what was happening while we were waiting. Regardless coffee should not take that long. We got two macarons with the check to apologize for the wait. Again waitress was very pleasant but was somewhat absent after mains were served. Place was less than half full. For w french bistro desert was not nearly what you would expect given some of the awesome french bakeries we have in this town. They should consider farming all that out to Gaby. On the whole not a great birthday experience for my wife.
Always a predictable great experience. The wait staff are amazing and they serve amazing food and cocktails.
I’m going to tell my friends and family about how great Paris 66 was. I’ve walked past it so many times because my husband and I like to have a drink at Kelly’s. But we finally went for my birthday and it was incredibly delicious.
We got to enjoy their Sunday brunch menu and everything we had was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Their were four in our party and we all had something different. And everything was my favorite. Haha
I had onion soup and rabbit. The soup was hot, which is good, but nothing special. And the rabbit seemed like it was warmed up having been cooked the day before, with a sauce that was way too salty.
Everything was wonderful although service was the standout. It’s great to see this place is still thriving, with all of the new restaurants coming on the Pittsburgh food scene.
The food and service were excellent. A lovely experience!
The food was excellent, but our waiter made our lunch extremely enjoyable. We were so excited when we learned he was from the Loire Valley, we never got to know his name. He allowed us to try to remember our college French. He actually seemed interested in listening to our stories about visits to France. My husband & I are retired teachers & travelers. We love France, & Monsieur added so many memories for us. We had a young college student with us, who studies French & hopes to go to Paris soon. Monsieur made this lunch a special event for the 3 of us. I can’t wait to return for the food, & we hope we are fortunate enough to have the same waiter. Merci beaucoup!
Our server was super friendly and the food was quick and delicious
I haven’t been to Paris 66 for almost a year and we had the most amazing dinner. The staff is so cheerful and make you feel that you are sitting in a café on the left Bank
You haven't lived if you haven't had the cassoulet at Paris 66. To - die - for.
Excellent food. And service. One of our favorite places in pittsburgh
One of our favorite places!
Excellent meal! Very French. Great wine. Professional and very nice waitress
Food was delicious but service was incredibly slow--moreso than if they were just pacing our meal. We spent 2.5 hrs at the restaurant after we were seated and no one took our order for half an hour. It took another half an hour just to get our appetizers!
Paris 66 was charming and the food was excellent. We were there the first day of their new seasonal menu and let me just say... It was already perfect. It will be downright sublime at the end of the season. The wine selection is lovely and the wait staff is friendly and equally as charming as the restaurant. Definitely adding Paris 66 back to our rotation.
The service was great. Our waiter (who was French) was excellent and personable. My roast duck was competent, but not memorable. My wife's pricey rack of lamb was med. well instead of med. rare. We were refunded half the cost, but it still was a major lapse in this sort of establishment. The bread was top rate.
Very cozy spot.
Excellent frog leg appetizer to go with my well-made gin martini.
One of my favorite places in Pittsburgh! Fabulous French - yes, really French - food, very friendly, helpful service, charming setting: what's not to like!
Service at our table was slower than all around us, and I had some sticker shock at the final bill. Usually one of my favorite spots, but this was not the best experience .
This is a wonderful getaway. I’m grateful to have traveled to France a couple of times and I loved it. From the fine wine to the staff who speak French, from
the well prepared food to the atmosphere, thank you for making me
feel like I’m in Paris! Great restaurant!
Delicious duck and seared food gras, albeit pricey. One of our favorite special occasion places.
Gnats were flying around our table. It was absolutely disgusting!
Marie Lise and Ranaud make you feel so welcome and special. The food is excellent and not pretentious. I will go back again and again.
A fantastic restaurant. Delicious food. We will come again. We will recommend it to friends.
We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Paris 66 sitting on the patio. The menu selections were excellent. We enjoyed the Paris 66 buckwheat crepe, daily special quiche with tomato & goat cheese (very fluffy), ham & cheese sandwich, and asparagus omelette. The pear tart with Calvados was excellent as was the French toast. The fresh brewed coffee options (cappuccino , macchiato and espresso) were very robust. Our server was a lovely French woman who was very personable and efficient. Great brunch option!
Amazing food and service thank you for always giving us an excellent experience
Food allegory friendly and a wonderful atmosphere make this a great place for a splurge.
Excellent food and service
Our server was very friendly and attentive. The space is quaint and comfortable. The wine list is extensive (and pricey) and champagne is $23 per glass. A small artichoke appetizer was tasty but $17. My steak frites was well prepared but the burgundy sauce was a bit overwhelming. The frites were disappointing. The chicken was slightly over cooked and here too the sauce overcame the dish. Next time I’d like to try the fish.
Service was slow. They didn’t disclose the price for the specials which were expensive. Food was just average for the price you pay. Escargot were very small. I heard great things but was disappointed when I ate there. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back there again.
Never disappoints in food, service and atmosphere. Thank you.
