Everyone was friendly and the food was fantastic. Don’t skip out on dessert. The tarts and creme brûlée are amazing.
Always delicious 😋
The food was delicious and service was excellent. Brunch food prices are a little more expensive than a casual restaurant but overall worth the value. Highly recommend the macaroons as well!
Love Paris 66. The service and food are awesome. We’ve had the same French speaking waiter several time, making great recommendations.
It wasn't terribly crowded on a Monday evening, but I have been there when it's been much busier and the noise level is still relatively low.
Everything was fabulous. We both had the scallops (which was a feature) and they were expertly prepared.
My friend and I enjoyed a lovely, leisurely dinner and cannot wait to go back!
Mother’s Day Brunch was amazing!
This is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and the crepes are better than what we have had in Paris. Outstanding waitstaff and great ambiance. The perfect place to go for a leisurely meal.
We love Paris 66 as a place with lovely service and good, unpretentious French fare. Our waitress, Mary Lise, is so incredibly nice and lovely, we would go there just to chat with her. The bread is good, this time we had the escargot and a foie gras, followed by a lovely but simple salad. My wife had the monk fish special, but there was only one left. It looked great. I had the pork with prunes, which was good but a bit over cooked. The potatoes and veggies that accompanied the mains were very good.
The food was great. Our server, Sarah, was attentive and pleasant. There was a slight delay in getting the baguette to the table when offered but other than that everything was perfect. We are planning on returning soon.
Food was delicious, service outstanding! We loved it. We are a long time customer and Paris 66 is always very good.
The food was great. We had the worst service, however. She was extremely rude on multiple occasions and made us all feel uncomfortable.
I was thrilled that the waitress is better at French. The food is ok. I was surprised the bread was not heated and the butter cream was frozen and not whipped. The noise level was way higher than I thought. Might come again to try other things
Excellent food. European service, aka make sure you have someone to enjoy a conversation as they let you be. Most of the menu is gluten free and wine list is superb. Don't forget to leave room for dessert!
Food and service was excellent. Sat on the patio and I felt like I was back in Montreal. I will definitly go back.
I love this place! Great food and wonderful service.
Excellent overall. The meats my wife and I had for the main course were slightly overcooked, but otherwise, a wonderful experience.
The food is good here, though I have to say it is overpriced. For people who have never tried authentic French food, Paris 66 can give you an idea as to what you could expect. Keep in mind that in France the food will be at least 3x better and the price will be less. A dinner for two cost us about $100, that equals to roughly 89 Euros. The meal included Escargots, two main dishes, two beers and a wine glass of white wine. In Paris my wife and I would have paid roughly 40 Euros for this meal, that's equal to about $50 USD. My point is that if you're French and miss home, you can come to this place and get a little taste of home, but it won't be the real thing. If you're not French and want to get an idea of France, Paris 66 is the place to come. Make sure you have an open mind and an open wallet.
The service was fantastic, our waiter was very nice, fun to talk to, and responsive to your questions. Most of the staff seems to be French, which is really nice. My wife enjoyed talking to the staff in French, as she is French and having a little taste of home goes a long.
The food presentation was good as well, I was not surprised there. French cuisine usually involves a really good presentation of their dishes. The food portion is also on par with what you can expect in France.
The food itself is good, not great, but good. However, I believe that the reason for this is because of the ingredients. It is difficult to acquire the proper ingredients in the USA for making a unique dish from abroad. For example, the Coq au Vin dish requires the meat of a Rooster, not a chicken. However, I doubt that Paris 66 will go around killing Roosters. This dish is unique as most French won't eat this dish if a chicken is used. The texture and flavor is not the same. My point is that, the food here could be better if Paris 66 were able to source better ingredients, preferably from France. If they were able to, the price of a dish would be $45 instead of $32.
Will I come again? Oui!
Good mix of French music and conversation in a quaint location. French food, French wines and French-speaking servers make it perfect for date night. Salmon w champagne and green onion sauce was delicious.
It was our first time at Paris 66 and we were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Paris 66 was just what I was looking for to have a quiet night out with my husband. The staff were very friendly; the food was delicious and the cocktails and wine selection was wonderful! We will be back.
From the French waitress to the amazing bread basket to the great food, Paris 66 was the perfect place for our group of 6. We wanted a French experience and we definitely got it.
Marie is a fantastic house, such a friendly place and atmosphere with the best French food I Pittsburgh by a long way, one of the best restaurants!
I was very excited to celebrate my birthday at Paris 66 and was a little let down. The restaurant is decorated very cute but it is very small. Had it been a warmer day, we may have accepted their offer of being seated on their deck. The two top table we were at was very close to a 6 top table and the wall separating the kitchen from the seating area. My husband tried very hard not to hit the women's back as he cut his food, while watching flames appear behind my head over the wall. For what we paid , the only courses my husband and I really enjoyed were our appetizers and dessert (totally recommend the macaroons and their signature coffee drink). Our main course was good but not outstanding and a bit flavorless. Our waitress was WONDERFUL and very funny. She made sitting so close to the table next to us bearable. I may try them again - off night perhaps? But I don't think I would rush back.
It gets better and better every time we go there.
French male waiter was the greatest!
We had a great time at Paris 66 this past weekend. Celebrating a graduation from the University of Pittsburgh with the family. The ambiance was nice, the service spectacular, and the food was great. Would recommend it to anyone with a love of French food!!!
Food and service were excellent as expected. Will be back again soon.
Enjoyed our meal. Well cooked good flavor. I would recommend trying it out. Except for a baby crying it had nice ambiance.
Realize that this is French cooking. If you have a dairy aversion don't go here. If you are looking for all you can eat or huge plates of food don't go here.
We loved it.
One of my favorite places, especially to entertain friends and family.
I visited Paris 66 for the first time with my wife. The atmosphere was classic French bistro- cozy, intimate, but with a buzz of happy eaters. I could see that a lot of people were regulars as they were greater by the friendly staff on a first name basis. Our waiter, from France with a thick Parisian accent, was helpful in guiding us through the menu. He recommended some dishes over others when we asked his opinion. When I inquired about a bottle of wine, he steered us to a bottle that was going to be added to the wine list the following week- it was a good choice that did not break the bank. The entire experience was fresh and delightful and we will be adding Paris 66 to our "approved" bucket list of restaurants. Magnifique.
We dine at Paris 66 three or four times a year and always find the food and ambiance to be excellent! The staff is very friendly, non-intrusive and generally excellent. On this Saturday evening visit he waitstaff was very busy but still managed to do admirable job. A visit to Paris 66 comes close to dining at an upscale Parisian bistro!
Had a great time at Paris 66, very good tasty food exactly as you would eat in France!
Our outing at Paris 66 was wonderful! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. My daughter said that this was the best food that she’s had since her trip to France last summer! Paris 66 made our first time in Pittsburgh memorable :)
First time there, we will be back. Relaxing atmosphere with exceptional service. Reminds me of many bistros we dined at in France. Exceptional food. We will return.
Really lovely birthday celebration meal here. The wait staff are super friendly and even though they will greet you and speak to you in French, they are more than happy to switch to English. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere quiet and elegant.
I absolutely love this place. One of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. The staff is so friendly and helpful and after a while you feel like you may actually have been swept off to Paris for an evening. There is a great outdoor patio as well. Winner every time.
Amazing experience and amazing food. The employees are so welcoming too.
Another lovely lunch with friends at Paris66! Hard to rate ambiance as we were probably the loudest table there, but it's a nice spot for lunch or dinner. Can't wait to go back!
Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere is warm and cozy. Food was excellent and nice portions.
The Paris 66 crepe is my favorite!
Paris 66 is my favorite restaurant in Pgh. Renaud and Anne-Marie are exceptional hosts, making me feel welcome with every visit. And the food is perfect....a delicious treat every time.
