The parking situation is horrible. No lighting or signage. No way to tell which way to go in the dark. I did not feel safe crossing that parking lot.

Beet salad was awesome. Delicious and innovative. Loved every bite. Pork chop was just okay. Portion was huge, but it was not evenly cooked. Some parts were dry. Desert was a big disappointment. It was tiny. Barely a quarter inch of chocolate pudding with vegetables and flowers on top. It tasted more like a salad and after that massive pork chop, why so stingy with the chocolate?

There were 8 of us celebrating my husband’s birthday, including 2 children. The waiter suggested the charcuterie appetizer which was wonderful. Two of us had the braised beef cheeks, which were so tender and juicy. Others at our table had the crispy risotto, fillet mignonette, pork chop and chicken. All were delicious. The children’s chicken breast and fries were also very good.

This is our second time here and will be back again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and service are always excellent. Tonight I had crispy chicken on a brick (baked, but the skin is so crispy it seems fried) - recommend it highly.

Incredible food - the ideas, and the execution. Was nice to meet the chef and assistant chef (at wine pairing event). Silver Oak wine (napa and alexander valley) good yet did not quite carry their part in the pairings. A great event nevertheless and thank you for putting it on

Conference attendees meeting a local at the Marriott in Santa Clara - so convenient and so surprisingly excellent! Not too many vegan options for my guests, so Chef made up a terrific pasta dish! Very accommodating. My beef was melt-in-your-mouth wonderful!

Food and service was great. The overall experience was soured by the misleading parking wording and directions from staff. I parked the car myself, gave the valet the key, they never moved it or delivered it to me - yet I was charged $15 for "Valet" after a $300 meal! I asked the hostess when I arrived if Valet was covered, she said yes. The web site states "we offer validated self-parking and valet parking" - which means we offer validated self-parking and $15 valet parking. They would not budge. I just paid the $15 and didn't let it ruin the evening. Also - they did not offer the "complementary" sparkling wine that was the OpenTable bonus. Too bad :(

The ambiance and the waiter made for an excellent dining experience. Appetizers and entrees were very good. My dessert which was described as an ice cream cake was just that, but more cake than ice cream. I assumed the ice cream would be formed into a cake. The accompanying berries were delicious.

Excellent service. The Pork Schnitzel was wonderful. Loved the recommended bottle of Hall Cabernet Sauvignon. Chocolate dessert was delicious, several little items were perfect to share.

The waitstaff was excellent, we had a change in the middle of service and both were great. The compressed watermelon was the best. For the entree, i had the crispy risotto and my husband had the hanger steak. i would recommend either. I look forward to returning when the season changes to find what they have on their menu for fall.

Seriously, the BEST food I have ever had! Better then any of the high end restaurants that I have ever been to. The pork chop is delicious and comes with a bit of a tangy sause, the veggies are so fresh and put together so well! The Desserts were like a bite of heaven. SOO GOOD!

The food was excellent. The dining area is comparable to any diner, so not spectacular in ambiance. Our backs were to some patron maybe from bar area, a little noisy. But the service was excellent.

The main courses were good but not amazing enough to justify high prices all by itself.

Ambiance: Dead quiet and nearly empty on a Friday evening. The whole restaurant is lit with harsh and somewhat flickering LED spotlights.

Food: Started off with tomato soup that too strong and creamy to be a starter. A red wine flight was disappointing with mouth burning tannins and some sourness. Steak and pork chop main dishes were tender, nicely seasoned, and delicious.

Service: Bussers were attentive with water refills and they seemed to be the only means of finding the server staff.
