Very solid business operation for executive lunch and special lunch/dinner gathering. Service is very attentative and wine list is wide. Food quality has high standard and portion is relatively small/European size.

We love Parcel 104. Despite it's unusual location in the Marriott next to the typical hotel bar, we have had two great dining experiences. Both times we ate there we chose to sit at the kitchen dessert bar. We loved the food and the banter with the staff. The salad starter was nothing unusual, but the mushroom crepe was fantastic. My husband ordered the rib eye and it melted in your mouth. Their trick is a thin cut, Cabernet butter, and an awesome cook. I ordered the veal loin chop special. The waiter coached me well on pairings and it was also very good. Dessert - ah dessert. Being at the bar and being my husband's birthday I think we had 4 desserts - 2 being complimentary tastes. Yum!

Very noisy-definitely not a place for a romantic dinner. Too much time between courses-we were there for three hours and it took forever to bring the first course. Food seemed a little bland for my taste but we did enjoy the wine pairings with our dinner.

Probably one of the best meals I have had a a restaurant this year. The waiter suggested both the entre and the dessert and they were delicious. My friend felt the same way about hers. Rusty, our waiter was the best!

A wonderful experience as always. The Chef's surprise prior to the meal is always fun!
The service staff make you feel very comfortable. The food is so fresh. The presentation is always surprising. Excellent!

Lovely food. Terrible Amuse Bouche - All of us thought it was awful.Waiter was very kind w/ a good heart but way "over the top". He tried to oversell every item and was a bit too theatrical for a business dinner. Needs to dial it back a bit.

In a word....unbelievable. Came here with my wife for our anniversary. I had told the restaurant when making our reservation, and they had menu's made up saying Happy Anniversary to my wife and I. At the end of the night, what seemed like the entire waitstaff and some of the kitchen signed it. The food was equally as awesome, with something a simple as heirloom tomato soup being utterly amazing.

We didn't expect it, but had a really outstanding meal. The tomato soup, with all fresh ingredients, was to die for. The entrees - pork for one of us NY steak for the other - came perfectly cooked and seasoned. The desserts were very creative and had a blend of wonderful ingredients. The service was excellently paced, and my "perfect manhattan" was truly perfect.

Will go back soon. We even got to talk to the chef.

I brought my customer here for lunch today & as expected, my customer was impressed. From the server John to chef Tony & chef Carlos, from the wine sommelier to the host, every one was just pleasant & the service is impeccable every time I visit.

- Steak flat bread - it was a hit for my customer.
- Bradley Ogden's Caesar Salad with chicken - probably 1 of the best Caesar salad in the Bay Area.
- Handmade Capellini with veggies - it was light broth, simply excellent.

Desserts by chef Carlos Sanchez:
- Crepe & berrries - hands down my FAV here.
- Berries & sorbets was refreshing.
- Cake & ice cream & peach - so yummy!

Very attentive and thoughtful staff. I made a note during the online reservation that it was my anniversary dinner. They customized the menu to say happy anniversary. Later the staff gave us a signed menu. They gave us sparkling wine as a celebration. The food was very tasty. My lady felt special with all the anniversary recognition. The staff made us feel like dignitaries.

Simply a breath-taking experience. The menu changes daily, based upon availability of fresh produce, proteins, etc. and the staff is amazing. John did a phenomenal job making us feel special (right down to the "anniversary" edition of the menu specially printed for my wife and I's 7th wedding anniversary. Highly recommended.

In our part of the world, Parcel 104 typically gets the nod for a business lunch not because of the quality of the food or creativeness of the kitchen but because the only other choice around are the very noisy Birks and the mediocre Lion and Compass. If this restaurant was in Palo Alto, it would drop down the list of choices behind the likes of Evvia, Bistro Elan, Baume, Tamerine, Joya, Junnoon and even Reposado just to name a few. If you're looking for competent food masquerading as something better and if don't mind paying $16 for a burger and fries that fills but fails to satisfy, this place is for you.

We took a wine that we did not have a lot of experience pairing on our own to Parcel 104. The wine was a 2005 Sine Qua Non Roussanne Atlantis Fe2O3~3e. We left the dinner/dessert choices in the hands of the professionals- Brain, the resturant manager and Executive Sous Chef Carlos Sanchez. We had eaten a late lunch, so Brian's recommendation of the pork belly hot pot was perfect. Becaue their menu changes often, go soon to give this a try. It was fantastic! We continued with a three course dessert menu prepared by Carlos we sat at the counter and watched the magic happen, Warm tapipocia pudding poured over fresh fruit, perfect flan, and chocolate preparations that were magical. All perfectly paired to our wine. An exceptional experience!

This was our first time eatting at Parcel 104. Dining experience was great. What really made the evening extremely pleasant was our waiter Rusty. He told us a story behind almost everything we ordered. FABLOUS!Our next visit will be to check out the brunch!

If you want to take a bunch of business guys out for an expensible meal, this is the place. The food is very good, the service is terrible (40+ minutes between courses), and the wine is "exotic" / overpriced (i.e. vineyards you've never heard of for $200+).

The waitress, I think her name is Sharon, is very clueless for a 4 star restaurant. Not friendly, doesn't know the menu or the food well. Each answer from her was like a guess. Feel like i was pulling teeth.

The chef on the other hand, produced some of the yummy food. I had the snapper and my boyfriend had the rib-eye. Both very delicious with a well balance of sides.

Since it was my boyfriend's b-day, we got complimentary champaign. That was a nice surprise.

With a very limited lunch menu, we ordered cheeseburger and fries for $16.00! Besides the fact that a cheesburger and fries cost $16.00, the cheeseburger was bland. The ONLY reason why we ate here is because we had a limited time for lunch and the seminar we were attending was in the hotel. I think all of the customers in the restaurant were here for business or hotel guests. If we would have had more time we would have gone somewhere else! I couldn't imagine anyone traveling to this restaurant expecting a delicious meal - lunch or dinner!

I have enjoyed everything I have ever eaten at Parcel 104. Since it was right around the corner from the office, it was the go to spot for business lunches. I love that everything on the menu is always fresh. Happy hour isn't to shabby either.

Simply amazing, EVERYTIME I go to Parcel 104. I'm never let down and they manage to out-do themselves everytime I go back! I feel like the servers are family there, Terry, Rusty, Manny, John III, John O, Carlos...people that make this place truely special and above the great place it already is.
Food is amazing as usual, from the braised pork belly, Foie gras, Prime Rib Eye, Tapioca; turning such dishes into works of art for the eyes AND taste buds!
All the special attention to detail to make a special event for my gf's birthday even more special. Things like her name on the menu, everyone telling her happy birthday, really making her feel special & an experience she won't forget!
My favorite retaurant forever.

This was a business dinner and the atmosphere set a amenable tone for the conversation. John's service was warm, friendly and impecable. The food was beautifully presented and exceptionally prepared without being pretentious. The portions, while modest, were what was expected considering the quality of the fare. We left feeling satisfied and comfortable and had a good bonding experience besides.

What a gem! We dined here recently and were thoroughly surprised and delighted. The food was outstanding: fresh and beautifully, creatively presented. That night they offered a prix fixe menu which allowed us to try things we might not otherwise because of cost. I don't know how we missed this place. The location is a little odd (at the Marriott in Santa Clara; reminiscent of Silicon Valley's heyday) but worth the effort to find it. Simply spectacular meal even considering the negatives: there is not much of a view from the patio and the drinks were expensive at $10-20 ea. But that said, my husband and both think this may be the single best meal we've had in the 22 years we've lived in Santa Clara Co. We will be back - often!

Our server made couple comments that made us very uncomfortable. But we saw him serving several businessman at the next table in a very nice manner. We felt uncomfortable by his sarcastic and in the way rude remarks. Other then that evrything was great. Service is so important and thats the second time we had a rude server. Next time we will have to request the nicest server on the floor, I guess, or find a new place to go to.

We came here for lunch and everything we tried was delicious. The food here is excellent: fresh ingredients simply prepared and perfect. The portions were quite small, but I walked away satisfied. Service was very good. The ambiance is a little bland, but nice. I can’t wait to come back.
