**A note from the restaurant**
Outside seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Warm Shrimp Salad
Lemon beurre blanc, avocado
Onion Soup Gratinée
Great food and great service!
We love the food!!!
Just great! Nice terrace, staff is great and wonderful food
Very good food and service
Waited forever for cocktails and bread after telling the waiter wéd had a long grueling drive. Sea bass excelent. Garnish beans cold and almost no tapenade on plate. Oysters fresh with good mignonette. Waiter gave attitude over a wine mix up.
Parc is my #1 favorite restaurant in Philly and has been for 7 years, since I started working in Center City. I was unable to get a reservation for my 60th birthday so my husband, daughter and I had a reservation for lunch this past Sunday. My daughter and I sat first, as my husband was locking our bikes. We ordered beverages and the tomato tart while we waited (5 minutes) for hubby to join. My daughter, who is autistic and loves Parc as well asked for bread(the famous Parc basket!) Waiter bitchily said "It's coming!) - 5 minutes later no bread and as my daughter gets antsy, I asked him as my husband sat - after than he(waiter) was peevish through the whole meal. Ruined it for me. I did not nail him on tip - I appreciate him working during pandemic but I did write a note on the check.
I saw that this restaurant was a must go to on a travel site so I made a reservation for brunch. I have definitely had better. The service was good but the food was bland and I had to ask for salt and pepper. I probably won’t be returning.
Still one of the best restaurants in the Philly area!!! Never disappoints.
Always delicious! We sat outside in one of the “chalets” and it was fabulous!
Always a nice place to take out of town guests- always top notch food, drinks, service & atmosphere!
Great service, amazing food, good time! I’d recommend to everyone!
The sidewalk was uneven where my chair was and there was no place to get it to be level so it was a bit uncomfortable sitting on a slanted chair all evening. Also our server forgot to ask us if we wanted dessert, which we did because we were celebrating a birthday. It seemed like he was just trying to turn the table and given the chair situation I was happy to oblige.
Fabulous food from appetizers to dessert!
We had an absolutely fabulous dinner here. While there is a lot of traffic (we only eat outside currently), the people watching made up for it. This is 3star quality food. I had escargot and it was the best I’ve ever had. The trout almandine was delicious and buttery. We were too full for dessert. The service was outstanding.
Everyone was excellent!!!! i would highly recommend Parc...
We’re from NY but dined here 3 weeks ago so I was excited to go back. However the noise level was deafening so it hampered the overall experience. Truthfully, the service, the onion soup and the bread were the best part of the meal. My husband’s steak frites was rather tough and my tuna carpaccio left something to be desired. Not sure if I would return to Parc if in Philly again
Great food. Great service! What more can you ask for?
My friend and I had a lovely lunch outdoors at Parc. View of the park was lovely. Great people and dog watching! Service was perfect: attentive and kind. The food was very good and served skillfully. Outdoor tables for two were nicely set up, Parisian style. We really enjoyed everything about our time there.
We had French onion soup we found it to have lots of bread to the fact that it soaked up the soup which is my favorite part.
I’m a regular at Parc and find it always impeccably reliable as a place to eat delicious French Bistro style food, and drink expertly made cocktails and/or great wine selection. The people watching, whether your outside or inside by the windows, is a bonus. The staff—across the board, are attentive, professional and warm without intruding.
we were Parc regulars (going back to when it first opened). Have been away for covid and now back in Phila and went back to one of our old favorites. Food was as good as ever, albeit a little more expensive, but still within reason for the quality and presentation. Our waiter was horrible. He showed no interest in us at all. Sat for a good 10 minutes with dirty dishes and left overs in front of me while he was busy chatting with all his friends behind the station barrier, which is open at eye level and he clearly saw I was waiting for service to clear. Very, very perfunctory service and not up to the quality we experienced for years prior. Also, the back room where thy seated us was extremely hot due to the back door being kept open so the servers can access the outside tables on locust street. Its not tolerable. We sat there sweating as we dined. If they can't solve the A/C issue and the open door, then they should not seat people there when the place is full of empty tables and its 90 degrees outside.
Perfect, as always!!!
I have dined at Parc many times. And it’s delightful! However, as a gentle reminder, curbside diners may want to be prepared should they encounter or are interrupted by belligerent vagrants.
Great as always
Love Parc since welcome there is always great. Food is OK but love ambiance
Recently dined at Parc for my friend's birthday lunch. This is usually our "go-to" restaurant in Philly for special occasions and they never disappoint.
I had inadvertently canceled my Open Table reservation which they reinstated which I greatly appreciated.
We were seated outside as requested which was perfect. My friend devoured half the bread basket before I even arrived. The service was fabulous! Special thank you to our waiter Michael Rosario who was super attentive even though the restaurant was pretty busy that day. I had the salad nicoise (delish) and my friend had the roasted chicken which also looked delicious.
They surprised us with complimentary miniature macarons for his birthday with a candle which was sincerely appreciated!
I highly recommend Parc - the food is consistently delicious and the service is always attentive! The setting is beautiful too - right across the street from Rittenhouse Park.
Stopped by after a event for a double date. Parc is one of my favorites in Philly. Everything was perfect as always!
Great dinner, great service!!
First time visiting Parc and I will say I was pleased in every way. The food was delicious! Our server Rita was amazing in every way, helpful, pleasant, attentive and had a great personality. We will definitely be back.
The server came to our table and I told her her mask was under her nose and she said it didn’t have anything to squeeze it up there so it always falls down. So I asked her are you vaccinated and she said no. So I told her that for us that was not acceptable as we are elderly and medically vulnerable.
I went up to the front desk and we did get a different server. The young lady was not vaccinated said you’re not allowed to ask me that question anyway.
I don’t know if that is true or not but I do believe I have a right to protect my health and life. And I thought you should know.
We went for lunch--3 people from the office--we shared the buffalo cauliflower appetizer--spicy & delicious.
Two had the turkey/avocado melt & only ate half. Both reported that it was great.
The harvest salad with chicken & apples & walnuts was very good too.
The outdoor setting was very pleasant & the service is crisp & professional.
Very easy to recommend.
Everything about Parc was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the top notch service and fantastic food.
Went to celebrate with a friend who has recently been accepted into a nursing program and Parc did not disappoint. The FOH manager was such a sweetheart and very conversational with us about oysters and life in general, which we appreciated because at some restaurants we have been to they tend to do a quick check and brush you off. Very happy to see the level of commitment and connection. Our server Caesar (with the tattoos) was a sweetie as well and not overbearing at all. We eased through several beverages, had several of the Basilic cocktails with Hendricks gin substituted as I requested instead of the citrus vodka it came with, and we split all our food without any issues. Food included; a dozen oysters, warm shrimp salad, escargot, the sardines, and a plate of steak frites. The food can be a little heavy for some as it is very rich but I ordered accordingly and used the bitter greens from the salad as well as ample lemon to offset the butter and fat. Also a fair warning; be careful not to fill up on the bread even though it is extremely delicious. Spent a bit of time savoring and probably over indulging but at the end of the meal we were extremely satisfied with the food and service as a whole. I have been here a few times and it never seems to disappoint. I will surely return. Thank you! Ps. Apologies for the poor lighting on the photos I was in a rush and excited to eat.
The food and ambience was amazing - the service was not great. Took a wile to order drinks. When the waiter took drink orders he also took app order and it all came at once. If a table orders cocktails the cocktail should come first. Then never took our meal order so we ended up just splitting one and it was amazing but we would have ordered more if he asked!!! Also didn’t ask for dessert!!!
Fantastic food. Fantastic service. To start with a wonderful bread and butter is wonderful. And to close with Creme Brûlée is magical
Great lunch! Escargot, cheese platter and the warm shrimp salad all were delicious!!
Our server Cesar was excellent!
Our waiter was great and service by all staff was great. Loved the outside seating! I had the bass with “gigantic beans” I think the menu called it. I did not care for the bean accompaniment. My husband liked the salmon with the pea sauce. We definitely will go back!
Food and ambiance were amazing.
Everything was delicious. It was a nice experience and we loved the bread. Just beware that if you are dining outside that pets and pedestrians walk past. A dog walked past while we were dining and decided to shake. Then boom dog hair on my deviled eggs.
Parc lives up to its reputation for excellent dining -- the food, the ambiance, the wait staff. Can we talk about the amazing bread???? I appreciated the thoughtfully curated by-the-glass wine list which added to our delicious dinners. Edwin was fabulous -- informed and informative without being intrusive. With the delightful weather and Parc's streetside location, you get a great view of the world walking by which adds to the experience.
