My husband and I have been coming here for 10 years. It never disappoints. We love it.
Parc never disappoints! Had a lunch date with my wife, thoroughly enjoyed. Food was great, wine list extensive, and top-notch service. Extremely attentive but not overbearing. Can’t wait to come back
The foodis fantastic and the service is great. Our waiter was very personable. I love a meal at Parc
Parc is a staple in Philadelphia and its longevity is a testament to its excellent food and service. It can be pricey, but the experience is unmatched.
Always a lovely evening for our family of four! A great place to celebrate together.
Anniversary dinner and Parc did not disappoint. Excellent service. Food was delicious. Dietary concerns were given a priority. Tables are small and close together. This would be my only complaint....very minor.
Cream of mushroom soup was off the charts, so much so that our friend that was with us does who not like mushrooms at all said it was out of this world!
Excellent food, drink, and service, if a little noisy
Setting and service great. Wine list ridiculously long and overpriced in an age when s great bottle of wine available for $10 and higher per chairman's select in PA. Kinda like watching the emperor with no clothes as our group interacted re wine choice. Worst part of our time-just wanted to look at my shoes as endless opera played out. Simplify wine choices and forego any "experts"-otherwise - good value for food-great for ambience. Not great - sorry. European heritage and lived it chick.
We are from NY and we met parents from Delaware. brunch was excellent as always. The service was great and the decorations have us all in the holiday spirit
My omelette was not cooked. Extremely runny and not edible. The manager was rude and told me to make sure I order it correctly next time to avoid this. Not what I expect from a Starr restaurant
We love the location, food and staff. Giant negative is the din/noise level. U have to shout to try to talk to Ur partner
Great meal! We were nervous about brining our kids (6 and 9) for an 8pm reservation. They did great, and so did the staff making them feel welcomed.
Great ambiance and good food. Attentive wait staff and fun vibe.
Great food and good service. A few of the patrons where a little over the top on their noses level.
Food was good, restaurant was very busy and too loud to easily have a conversation. Especially loud music was inappropriate for the decor and cuisine. No authentic French Brasserie would have loud music like that.
Wonderful! Only criticism ( slight) was that the waitress was overly efficient and not very friendly. Food was great. We will be back for sure.
The food was great. Angel, our server, was awesome! Super nice guy and very attentive. He made great recommendations.
So delish. Festively decorated for the holiday and something on the menu for everyone!
Never disappoints! Beef bourgenoin and bouillabaisse were incredible. We received a delicious mushroom tart as a consolation prize for a mere 10 minute wait past our scheduled reservation. Nice touch that left a very positive impression. I am up to date on all the “best of” meals in philly for 2018 and have been to many of them. Our meal at Parc last Friday was the best meal out I have had in PHiladelphia all year. Tres bien!
While we (wife and I) enjoyed the food and the service, the noise level everywhere in the restaurant made conversation difficult at best. We had to speak with raised voice in order to be heard. This is not a place for a quiet romantic meal. The restaurant is extremely popular with guests turned away without reservations (this was on a Friday evening). The food is a draw--very continental, but the ambiance (noise) is a turnoff. I would not recommend this restaurant to friends.
Consistently fantastic, but expensive. Beautiful holiday decs. Friendly and helpful staff. Love it!
Our server - we do not know his name - because it was so loud in the restaurant Thursday. He greeted us after 3 minutes and his service from that moment on was excellent.
The tables in the front part of the restaurant on either side of the doors are too cramped and you can hear everyone's conversations.
I am very happy that we chose Parc when we visited Philadelphia. It reminded me a little of Le Diplomate in DC except that Parc is much bigger. It has traditional French food, cooked very well, and a great wine list. One of the things that stood out for me was that evryone around us seemed to bebe having a good time. I know we were enjoying our dining there.
Wonderful atmosphere and authentic food! Great value for the price.
I love Parc. I live right next door and often eat at the bar in the evening. I was so disappointed this last time. I booked a table for six for a holiday luncheon with my work team. They placed us in a really awkward spot near the bar where another party was being held and we could barely hear each other. Then when we started our gift exchange the servers brought out meals. We asked if it was possible to delay a few minutes until we were done (there was no room for food and gifts) and the servers gave us a loom like “really?” Perhaps this was just an off day but I don’t think I’d go back again with a group - did not feel like it was a good experience overall.
I’ve been to Parc 3 times. The first time is was so much fun and the food was beautiful and delicious. The 2nd time the same dish was presented differently and was not quite as good. Yesterday i again ordered the same thing (I really like it). It was not even as good as the last time. If I do go back I won’t order it again. My husbands breakfast was delicious. Maybe I’ll get that!
Old Faithful. This must be one of the most consistent and reliable restaurants in existence. I tend to order their cheeseburger with sauteed onions on top. I like it rare (which the kitchen didn't quite deliver this time, but it was too delicious to send back), no top bun, and well-done fries. The server didn't blink - no problem. The tomato they served was a wan facsimile of a tomato. Dessert was not quite as successful as the burger - a poached pear and chestnut tart with salted caramel ice cream. The ice cream was delicious, but the pear was too hard and juiceless. Excellent service. It's a noisy restaurant but it's possible to sit in a nook and have a nice conversation. I like the faux-French atmosphere. I always enjoy eating here. The bread - which they bake - is excellent.
I had heard a lot about this restaurant and was looking forward to my visit. The overall look of the space is picture perfect but the food left much to be desired. Everything was extremely over salted to the point of being inedible, I would guess that about half of our food was returned to the kitchen. The interesting thing is that nobody bothered to ask if there was a problem. The one highlight was a perfectly prepared Sidecar. I don't see any reason to every return to this restaurant.
Place was recommended by one of the group. Food was delicious. I had the beef carpaccio and steak frites. Service and ambience were fabulous. Will definitely return next time in Philadelphia.
Parc never fails to deliver. The trout is always phenomenal. Great meal tonight
Consistently outstanding food and service. Especially festive for the holidays!
Celebrating a baby!
Always wonderful. Great bread. Very good server. Fun place.
Always enjoy Parc. Food and atmosphere are fantastic. Only drawback to this visit was although we had on our reservations requested not to be seated near the entrance, that is where we ended up.
Whenever I travel to Philadelphia I make it a point to have dinner at the Parc. Wonderful food ambiance and great food. What a combination.
I had beef bourguignon, companion had trout almondine. Both were superb. Salad likewise. Wines by the glass were pricey but very good. We had a cute view of the street. Everything wonderful EXCEPT very noisy, even at our table which was as quiet a location as the restaurant offered. Trying to have a conversation where you really hear every word is stressful and not entirely possible. As long as that isn't what you need, it's a fabulous place.
Parc is a little slice of Paris The food and ambiance are exceptional
The manager Carol keeps everyone happy and everything running well
It is our go to place
Parc is always amazing! Fresh baked bread and French onion soup were highlights of our recent lunch here. Service was professional and attentive. Love the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Great place for breakfast
