About Parc

Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy. Details such as well-worn wooden chairs, vintage framed paintings and photos and antique brass fixtures transport guests across the Atlantic. French doors spill onto a sidewalk terrace covered by a dark red awning perfect for dining "en plein air." Reservations are not accepted for outdoor tables.

I came here strictly for the Onion Gratinee.
It was perfect per my expectations!

Waited a little bit past reservation time (5min-10min)

Will be back.

Parc is one of our “go to” spots every time we are in Philadelphia. Beautifully located on Rittenhouse Square, Parc does classic French and never disappoints. We highly recommend for brunch.

We had the cutest little table for two in a corner by the window where we enjoyed great views of Rittenhouse. The food was phenomenal. Would defintely recommend.

We've been to Parc before and loved it. Excellent Lobster Bisque and the Crab and Avocado salad. We have ordered the Steak Frites previously with no problems. However, this time, it was a bit disappointing. Its presentation was off. No side dip for the fries. The hanger steak was overcooked at sections.

Another great meal at Parc, which offers the best dining experience in the city. The filling in the deviled eggs was too much mustard, not enough egg yolk, but other than that, a perfect evening.

I was a bit disappointed with my visit here.

Atmosphere - In spite of a reservation, we were placed at a table less than a foot from the waiter screen (where they enter orders) and were constantly shifting to allow space for them to get to the screen. The whole place seemed to be pretty cramped - they packed in way too many tables which made it seem like they cared more about money than customer experience. The parisian decor felt more gimmicky than authentic and in the end, the restaurant just felt like a tourist trap.

Food - lots of fun options, and it looked really beautiful when it came out. But when considering price, it didn't taste any different then other (less expensive) meals I've had in the past

Value - pricey, but I expected that when I chose a restaurant next to Rittenhouse. I don't mind paying a little extra for a great experience, but I left this place feeling a little bit ripped off

The intent of this meal was for a quartet of girlfriends who have known each other for over 40 years, to come together from points a far, to spend an afternoon together. Parc was the perfect choice for this reunion. Since it had been 20 years since we had all been together, there was alot of talking and laughing. The meal ended up extending to an entire afternoon and no one minded that we occupied the table for four hours. Our waitress was a delight, and who knows, when we do this again in March, perhaps we will return.

The environment was warm and cozy like an upscale french cafe. Lovely holiday decor. Food was excellent. Loved the Moules Frites and the Beef Bourguignon entrees. Cocktail and wine were just ok. The waitress was a little pushy (every time we ordered she suggested something pricier whether it be drink or meal). Was also a little disappointed that it was clearly my birthday (opened a gift, the waitress acknowledged) but there was no free dessert or drink out of it. Overall, we will definitely be back for the food and ambiance, service could be better.

Impeccable service, delectable food and delightful
ambiance were marred by a noise level that made it impossible for two old friends to have an easy conversation after meeting after many years.

Great service. Food was excellent.

Noise level was painful!
Floors were filthy!!! It's easy toclean tile flooring!
Tabletop desperately needs to be painted! It' so easy to do that - it looked awful!
Bathroom had no soap in any dispenser.

Parc, you can do much better than this!

This place is a gem! The food is unique and exceptional in taste and presentation. The service is excellent. Seating allows for groups as well as cozy, romantic areas for couples. For my wife and me, it is a new favorite place to dine when we are in Philadelphia.

Located on the east side of Rittenhouse Square, Parc Restaurant transports you to a French bistro with its atmosphere (French music, small round tables like you would encounter in Paris for dining alfresco) and menu items. A fine wine list, reasonable prices , but most of all excellent service makes Parc my go to spot for a leisurely lunch in Center City Philadelphia. I highly recommend Parc .

This was our third or fourth time at Parc, but our first for breakfast/brunch. We were very happy with our experience! The menu was diverse and one that would be enjoyable for any foodie type. My wife had the avocado toast and enjoyed it, and I had the smoked salmon tartine and was also very pleased. We took a couple chocolate croissants home with us and liked them as well. Parc's coffee is excellent, which I consider a key part of enjoying breakfast, brunch, or dessert. We look forward to going back!
