**A note from the restaurant**
Outside seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Warm Shrimp Salad
Lemon beurre blanc, avocado
Chopped filet, capers, quail egg
Always delicious and always great service… it never fails
The food is good exceptional! The entire staff is so professional and alert to your every need. Would highly recommend this for all occasions.
Our lunch at Parc was wonderful this afternoon! We were all about having a decadent meal and our food did not let us down. The highlight for me was the mushroom tart - if you love mushrooms and cheese and goodness…this is for you! My husband had the onion soup and the ham and comte baguette. Overall, it was a tasty and special lunch. We will definitely be back!
Great as usual - both the food and the service.
With the exception of the front of the house. I had an 11 am reservation. Waited behind just two other couples as the restaurant was just opening. Although I had already requested a table outside, I was given a hard time when I asked to be seated in one of the outside booths even though all but one were empty. It was 11 am. I was begrudgingly told yes, but I that I had to finish & leave within 1 hour and 45 minutes. I am not kidding. This was unnecessary and frankly rude. However, when women dine together without a man with them, this is a regular occurrence. Never expected it at Parc. Very disappointing. And btw, when we left 1.25 hours later, there were still empty outside tables.
Parc was an amazing experience for a birthday. Delicious food in a wonderful setting with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend Parc for a special night out!
Parc continues to be an uneven experience for us that doesn't justify the cost. The highlights were the bread (oh that bread), moule frites and Sea Bass. The 1/2 roast chicken was a bit dry and lacked flavor without the sauce. Similar impression for the boeuf bourguignon. I think there are better options in town for the price.
Very nice dinner. Would come back again. Very nice that they had the heaters.
The server was excellent very attentive and pleasurable. The noise level was perfect early on but got loud as the day went on. Enjoy gazing out the window looking at the park. I always enjoy my experience at Parc
We love the bustle of Parc, but it's the food that keeps us going back any time we're in Philadelphia. The kitchen thoughtfully plated our shared entree and the sommelier was able to suggest a suitable wine when the one we had chosen was not available. Another delicious meal!
We wanted seating outside because of the high noise level inside but it was too cold for one diner so staff graciously seated us inside. Everything was great, except for the noise, until the busboy came to take the other diners plates while I was still eating my Trout Amandine. I hate when they do that. they also took a full plate of spinach I ordered without asking if we wanted to take it home. Would have made a nice creamy spinach soup after my root canal today. If a guest at my table starts clearing while others are still dining they get a stern look from me. It is just rude to do so. Please train your staff to look to see if anyone is still dining, and not ask "still working on that?" as if eating in a fine dining establishment were your job. If so, I want to be paid, not pay. what an awful phrase.
This was the perfect place for me and two of my childhood friends to get together for lunch. Thank you!
The Cheeseburger I had was very greasy - felt like a brick in my stomach. Also, by the time it came it was rather slightly warm (so it was standing on the kitchen counter). The St Emilion red wine glass I had was not worth $21.
The service is terrific and the food was delicious. The restaurant reminded me of Rue 57 and Balthazar in NYC.
Our experience at Parc was good overall. Service was very good. Food was good, not great. Greeted with a big basket containing 3 types of crusty bread and butter…got off to a good start! The Mushroom tart app was the best item we had and really delicious. The escargot had more mushrooms in it than escargot. The scallops entree was a nice, light dish (didn’t blow me away, but good). The beef Bourgogne was barely warm…It had clearly been sitting for awhile before it got to the table. Profiteroles dessert was okay. Overall, the restaurant feels a bit commercial. It seems to be extremely popular though and was full on a Sunday, both indoor and outdoor seating.
IF you are looking for an exciting evening out with a loved one or a group of great friends, look no further than PARC on Rittenhouse Square. Always a delight, great drinks, great food, great service and terrific bread to boot at your table. Simply elegant Parisian bistro like food at its finest.
Good food and vibe
We love Parc, which explains why we dine there frequently. However, we don’t know if it was because or staff shortages or not, service was extremely, unusually, slow.
It was a birthday and I was so impressed with kindness of the wait staff - beyond our waiter! Everyone was lovely. The space is wonderful - real 30’s bistro flair. We’ve dined here several times. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere - especially for Sunday brunch - is festive and upbeat. We arrive early to enjoy the park and then stroll over for a great meal. Highly recommend!!
Dependably good food with nice variety and attentive service.
It really feels like a French Cafe. The food was amazing, especially the escargot! Parc is in my top 5 best places to dine.
Food was excellent especially the breads. We couldn’t get enough of it. Took a loaf home. It’s loud in the front dining room but not so bad in the back. Nice old French decor. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Parc's classic setting for a French bistro--large awnings, people walking by, amazing French decor--set the tone for an amazing meal of delicious French food and cocktails. Our server, Brian, was amazing and the restaurant went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
Enjoyed our late lunch. French onion soup is a must! Ours were open for a sunny, breezy fall day. Defietlywill return.
Excellent, as always! We will be back in 2-weeks!
We enjoyed warm shrimp salad for lunch in a booth on a beautiful day. Servers were courteous and over-worked and very pleasant. Most appreciative.
Incredible food and great ambiance!
great reliable bistro atmosphere, especially with all the windows/doors open. Really good service this visit.
Eric the bartender is amazing!
Great French food. Reminds of Parisian dinners. Macarons & creme brûlée could have been better.
We had such an amazing night celebrating our anniversary. Tim was so great and made our night super special! Everything we ordered was delicious and the outside seating is really romantic. 10/10 would recommend to a friend
Very good bistro food. Friendly staff. Well located for us.
Fun menu with modules frites or steak frites. Great service. Outdoor dining in covered structures with view of Curtis school of music
Service was incredible. My steak was cooked perfectly and both dishes were overflowing with flavor. The only small fault was that my girlfriend asked for no pine nuts in her pasta and we found a few at the bottom. She is not allergic and we didn’t specify as an allergy, so it would not have been on the kitchen ticket as such, so I do understand how that could happen. In return the front of house manager took it off the check and sent us out a free desert as well as personally apologizing. My first time at Parc is definitely not my last.
Service by Eric was excellent. Hostess was very helpful.
We came from the Van Gogh experience at the Tower Theater, and a French bistro was just what we needed to keep us in the Provençal mood!
As someone who has been to Parc many many times over the past 10 years it is now a shell of itself. I have never had a bad meal, bad service, etc. at Parc until now. The food was below par, it was not cooked correctly several things came out cold or undercooked. We had to wait for steak knives which then added to the problem and condiments were not readily available. The service was inattentive And it was just a horrible overall situation. I took my wife for her birthday dinner because that’s where she wanted to go and we will never ever return there again. Don’t waste your money or your time.
Superb staff to great care of you long-lunching group. Food was on point as always.
PARC is moe "French" than most cafe's in Paris. Although it is famous in Philly for their brunches, they serve well-prepared dinners in a cozy atmosphere. Try getting a window seat ( which they open in warm weather). My only quibble is that they should play French music or classic fifties era jazz on the sound system, instead of the generic stuff they serve up. An essential dining experience when Visiting Philadelphia
We loved our outdoor dining. We ate in a beautifully designed space protected on three sides but open to the sidewalk on Locust Street. My trout amandine was delicious, as was my wife's coq au vin. Lauren greeted us graciously, and even served us a side dish; she remembered us from two years ago, before the pandemic. The cuisine, atmosphere, and service could not have been better.
