Great environment for any occasion. Friendly staff. Food was terrific.
Awesome foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. Nice waitress.
Delightful lunch for my childhood friend’s birthday. We sat in a chalet and enjoyed a park view - even on a cloudy day. Drew’s service was impeccable. Our salads - a nicoise for me and a shrimp salad for the birthday gal, we’re both delicious. I’d scooped the restaurant that it was my friends’ birthday and when she didn’t order dessert they sent macaroons with a candle. Another thoroughly enjoyable excursion to Parc.
Outstanding as usual. Tonight's lineup: romarin, mushroom soup, warm shrimp salad, and beef bourguignon. All 5/5.
All in all it was a terrific experience. Selections were abundant, and execution was on point
Parc never disappoints with its friendly staff, warm atmosphere and delicious lunch menu. After this CoVid pandemic, a Parc lunch is restorative!
It was good to be back to our favorite Philly restaurant.
Great meal and great service!
We think of Parc as a "valeur sûre"--the food is always outstanding, the service as good as it gets. Current efforts to offer interior tables separated by transparent barriers increased the intimacy of the meal.
I had the scallops and endive, a melt-in-the-mouth main course. My husband had a cheeseburger, that he described as the best he'd ever eaten.
The bread basket, itself, is worth a review. Delicious!
Parc is THE place for people-watching and mingling. And the food is also fabulous--loved the seafood tower and trout amandine. We had a great server too!
Enjoyed our meal! Portion of curried chicken salad was on the small side (I requested this sandwich w/o the bread)
I took my fiance to Parc for her birthday a few nights ago. The food was reasonably good, especially the Mushroom tart and Profiteroles. The ambience, however, was not. I guess if you decide to eat inside, then there would be no problem. We decided to get a table in one of the make-shift tents they set up outside that overlooks the park. Seemed like a good idea, right? A birthday dinner overlooking Rittenhouse Park. Very romantic sounding. And perhaps it would have been if panhandlers and raving derelicts did not have access to your table. We were accosted three times during the course of the meal. And since we're in our own hut/tent, there's nowhere to go to avoid this. A manager did come over once with a few waiters to get one of these people to move along, so at least they addressed one of the three times something happened. But frankly, this shouldn't be happening at all. Parc -- if you're going to offer outdoor dining, please do something about this. Close off the sidewalk from passersby or have at least a security guard who can take care of this. This is Philly, not Paris. This city has a rather troubling problem with lunatics, panhandlers, and opioid addicts wandering around.
I love Parc - the food, the ambiance, and the new outdoor cabanas. However, the chairs chosen for the outside cabanas are very uncomfortable. I am disappointed that Parc went cheap on the chairs. I wish they bought more of their other chairs. The service is very efficient, but I find the wait staff rarely make any attempt to be friendly with those they serve unless you are a regular. Overall, I will keep coming because the food is very good! Compared to other Philadelphia restaurants I would put Parc in the top 20%.
We really enjoyed our meal and experience at Parc. Wait staff was excellent, food was excellent, ambiance was excellent.
Stephen was the best! Went there for my sister and brother in laws anniversary! Going again Monday with my sister in law for my birthday. Absolutely love it there
We are regulars. Dinner was excellent. The bottle of South African Chenin Blanc had an earthy tone and complimented the seafood and veal. But the best part was the service from Cesar!!
I had an amazing experience as I always do when I visit parc. I had the French onion soup, warm shrimp salad and mussels with French fries.
The service was spotty, we often felt forgotten and had to make eye contact with the waiter a few times. Appetizers came out at different times. The food was good, nothing extraordinary, as it has been in the past. It was our first time eating IN a restaurant, so we were excited. The bread was the best part of the meal. Won't be back for quite some time, even if the environment is so festive.
Great date night
Used the outdoor dining in one of the private booths/Chalets. It was nice to be able to talk at a normal level.
The best place for brunch in the city!
Another delicious meal at a fav spot. My meal started with a shared Salad Verte, a simple salad with greens, Haricots verts, radishes, red wine vinaigrette. It’s so simple yet flavorful. I order the sea bass which I’d tasted from a friends plate previously but never ordered it myself. I was so glad I did. The sizable
portion was so fresh and perfectly cooked, served with a red pepper/onions/beans. I will definitely order it again. One friend had the scallops he loved - but wanted more food. My other friend ordered the cheese burger he loved.
Service was impeccable- as per usual. We were fortunate to have booked in advance and have secured a “chalet” as it was a little rainy. Great ambiance added to a very pleasant evening.
We had a terrific time celebrating our son becoming engaged. The Parc staff made sure that our party of seven was well taken care of and the food was excellent! Thank you Parc!
As always, so great to dine at Parc. Location, service, food selection and quality, and did I mention location? If we go ti only one restaurant when we visit Philly, it is Parc
Great service from Andrew!
Just another great meal with great service & ambiance.
I love Parc! The food is great and the service is great!
Predictably high quality, with the service a little haphazard due to wait staff balancing indoor and outdoor demands. Had to actually flag down our waiter to get a second glass of wine (gasp!). But food and ambience were as good as ever. Love the moules frites.
The only problem I had with the meal was the restaurant was very cold.
The manager did try lowering the fan and might have even turned down the air-conditioning but it was still uncomfortable. I thank them for trying.
always delicious food; always great, friendly service. Theirs is the best quiche I've ever eaten. It is my 'go-to' dish when I'm at Parc for breakfast or lunch.
The food is always delicious and service top notch. The chicken is world famous and consistently a family favorite.
The service was not good! I felt ignored the entire time and finding someone to get more butter or drinks took forever, it was a huge disappointment as Parc has always been on the ball in the past.
Food was great as usual.
This was a sub-par Parc experience for me. When I made the reservation, and when I checked in earlier today before we got there, I let the hostess know that we were celebrating my sister’s 40th birthday; they still sat us on the side of the restaurant, away from the park. There were a couple of glasses of bubbly delivered to us when we sat down, which was great! But nobody told us that my husband ordered them for us (I assumed they were included because of my sister’s birthday??), so we thought they were FROM the restaurant. Which was weird. Food was good but inconsistent - escargot was delicious, but maybe half of it was mushrooms? I think our waitress was great but overworked and had too many tables by herself so we received minimal attention. I usually love Parc, but they missed the mark for this special occasion.
Excellent food and atmosphere in the heart of Rittenhouse Square.
I ordered salmon and specifically asked for no salt on the fish. I got a piece of salty salmon
Our first visit since the pandemic began--birthday lunch for my husband. It was absolutely wonderful: the usual superb onion soup and escargots for him, and a perfectly springlike warm shrimp salad for me, with greens, little roasted tomatoes and fennel. Relaxed, capable, friendly service. Not to miss.
Wife and I have been to Parc every year for our anniversaries. It’s a wonderful restaurant that has boatloads of ambience and atmosphere. Even during COVID, they don’t disappoint. I love this place, and I’ll miss it when we move.
I was very disappointed with my meal, I ordered the steak and frites. I asked for the state to be medium, it was extremely difficult to cut m, it was not quality at all compared to past meals there.
Food was exceptional and Rita our server was terrific!!
