Parc
**A note from the restaurant**
Outside seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Love Parc! The bread is incredible! Excellent service.
The highlight of the evening was our server. He was outstanding. The food was good, but not great. Far too much garlic in the escargots and in the mussels. (tasted also a bit like the precut Costco garlic). The fries were really good though. It is a very busy and loud place. Not a place for date night. It feels a bit like mass production, but there are definitely brasseries in Paris that have the exact same feel. We would come back, just not for a romantic dinner.
Great food and ambiance! Seafood was fresh and delicious and the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender. Service was polite and efficient.
Great place. Essentially unchanged but in this case its a good thing. Kitchen is always on point. What they do, they do well and consistently. Noisy, busy and perfect for brunch.
Parc was my favorite when I lived in Philly, and I always make a point of going when I’m in town!
The food is excellent, the space is beautiful, and the staff is the absolute best.
Order the mushroom tart and make sure to get a cocktail.
Fabulous brunch idea! We will be back soon.
Ordered a Bellini for brunch - never received it. Very strange considering how attentive the servers generally tend to be at Parc.
I love this restaurant!!! We always have an enjoyable time at Parc. The cocktails and food are exceptional!! I feel like I am in Paris!!
I had the duck and French onion soup, my date had the mac and cheese and prime rib. All of it was so incredibly delicious, I highly recommend going there.
The food was great so I would recommend this restaurant to others. However, be prepared for a loud atmosphere and tiny tables. We went over Valentine's day weekend so I understood the restaurant would be busy but was not expecting the tables to be right on top of each other. The dinner felt rushed as well. Several hosts walked around checking the status of where people were in their meal. Although they did not say anything you could tell they wanted you gone as soon as you sat down. Those that want a romantic type dinner, I would not recommend Parc due to the tables spacing and kids.
Personally, I like the back dining room because it is quieter and you have more room between the tables. Not quite the same "bistro" type of bustling atmosphere, though, so I understand why people like sitting in the main room, in front. Excellent service. Delicious food. Had a great time and will certainly return in the future.
Overall amazing!!! The food was just wonderful. We already booked another reservation for my birthday brunch. The reason I gave 4 star for service is because it took longer than excepted once we sat down to put in our drink and appetizer order. Once that was done, service was excellent
Darwin was our waiter. He was fantastic and took great care of us.
Amazing food great ambience
Waiter was awesome. Food never disappoints.
Great food & service. Packed us in pretty tight. Little overcrowded.
The service was very good, and the food was excellent!
My husband and I came for lunch the day after Valentine’s Day. The food and service were great. The best thing was that we told the waiter we planned on splitting the food and they split it for us!! I know it’s a little thing but made for a much eaisier lunch.
Was special occasion and we were treated beautifuly
Took my lady there for Valentine's dinner, love the warm welcome and how the waitress service us. The food was also great. Would recommend that place for anyone who wants to try the French cuisine...
I’ve dined at Parc many, many times for brunch, but this was our first dinner there. Brunch has never disappointed, but dinner was almost transcendent.
I had onion soup and beef bourguignon, my husband had beef carpaccio and hangar steak.
Food arrived so quickly that at first I thought it was going to another table...
The onion soup was the best I’ve ever had... the broth was rich, onions beautifully caramelized, the crouton was their delicious sourdough (and the crust was still crispy even in soup), cheese was plentiful and perfectly browned. In all honesty I came perilously close to licking the bowl in front of dozens of diners and staff...
The beef bourguignon. Oh the beef bourguignon. When it came out I knew it was going to change my thoughts on beef before I took my first bite. I put one carrot in my mouth and literally teared up. The carrots and mushrooms were cooked perfectly (not mushy) the beef had been braised for hours and had a beautiful black bark, but fell apart with almost no effort. The potato purée was velvety and creamy. And the sauce. It was so rich, smoky with pork belly. Mmmm.
As a Valentine’s dinner it evoked just the right responses. My husband enjoyed my appreciation of the food. :-)
He even seemed moved my his carpaccio, and he’s not the kind of guy to get worked up about food.
We shared a creme brûlée that was silky and rich, with a deliciously caramelize crust that tasted happily like a smoky roasted marshmallow.
Our server was a delight... attentive but not intrusive, we were seated earlier than our reservation on a busy night which we appreciated, and as always the atmosphere was lovely but not pretentious.
Parc is one of my favorites, a go-to that never fails to impress, and this Valentine’s Day was no exception. Recommended on all fronts.
Our Valentine's day dinner was exceptional at Parc. It was a usual Parc, no Valentine's day fix price! Although it was a super busy night, service and the food was wonderful. Parc never disappointed us.
Our waiter David was fantastic, Parc overall is as good as advertised!
Valentines day
My boyfriend and I went for Valentines Day and had an amazing time. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion. I am looking forward to going back again.
Excellent French restaurant on Rittenhouse Square. The space is extremely large and overlooks the park. The ambience reminds me of a painting by Toulouse-Lautrec, a late nineteenth-century Parisian feel. The food and wine list is outstanding and a little on the pricey side. Even the bread they serve is great. Service is always good. The big interior can be noisy, the place is crowded at the customary dining hours, and a reservation is advised. Try to get a table with a view of the square. Recommended!
we went there for valentine's day dinner, and the special of the night was butter poached halibut. it was absolutely amazing!
Food and service were very good, however, a noticeable deterioration from previous visits. Servers appeared somewhat distracted while the food portions were lessened.
We went for a Valentine’s Day dinner. I made the mistake of making the reservation for 7:30 am instead of 7:30 pm. The host took less than 5 minutes to seat us anyway, even though the restaurant was completely full. Our server was friendly and attentive. The bread might have been the best I’ve ever had. Beef bourguignon and seared scallop dishes were excellent. We will be bringing friends back to Parc.
The lobster risotto was amazing. I have no words.....;)
I come here every month in association with medical appointments. This time, I had the modules and frites... outstanding! The sauce was amazing...the best I have had! Not watery or too salty! Perfect! My 3 guests were also very happy with the hearty onion soup, and the quiche. The quiche is at least 2 inches high and light but creamy, and full of goodies inside. The crust is not soggy! Wonderful!
Amazing and efficient service combined with perfectly cooked traditional French cuisine
Great place for a birthday dinner!
This was one of the best meals of our lives, and by far the best breakfasts we ever had. It was my son’s 7th birthday and they made it so special by bringing out macaroons with a candle! They handles kids well and all our many requests! Food was superb! I can’t say enough positive things about this amazing restaurant!!
THe best mushroom soup in town. THe food is always consistent and excellent. THe service spot on without being overly charmant. Everyone loves the bread. THE place to count on when you don't know what you want but it should be good.
As always, the food and drinks were delicious. We were disappointed that we were seated in the very back of the restaurant when there was clearly room to be seated in the main dining area.
Solid meal. Server was indifferent. Nice brasserie ambiance. Overall positive dining experience. Frites were fabulous. All other food ok (we’re self avowed foodies).
We always enjoy dining there but the noise level is so bad that it distracts from dining with people you wish to talk to.
We have been there several times and the food and drinks are always very consistent and well prepared.
Since it is such a large dining room, some of the tables are less than desirable, but they are willing to reseat you if they can.
The bartenders are excellent. The bread is worth eating. There is a swanky vibe. You can bring your kids.
Always a great meal and top notch service. A favorite in center city.
