Truffle pasta was amazing as was pretty much everything else. Great wines. Great atmosphere and service too.
Our server was excellent! The ambiance is authentic French bistro. I thought I was in Paris!
Parc is the trendy place to go in Philly and it is good. The noise level is impossible, however. We literally had to yell to hear each other at our small table.
Very crowded and noisy. We waited almost a half hour for a table despite a reservation. Food quality good but nothing really remarkable. Service was fine once we finally were seated. Considering the large variety of excellent restaurant choices in Philadelphia I wouldn't rate Parc particularly high.
Great place to take a date, great food and drinks.
So very average - not sure why it has such good reviews. The bread, French fries and tuna carpaccio were good. The escargots had zero taste and were totally mushy - we really wondered if they were snails. The steak in the steak frites had a very strange flavor. It is a huge restaurant, jovial but very loud. I can see sitting outside on a nice day and having a glass of wine but we were visiting from out of town and were disappointed that Parc was our only dinner destination. The waiter was disinterested in us.
Waiter interrupted whenever he approached the table regardless of who was speaking in our group.
If we kept talking, so did he. Very rude or poorly trained.
We had a delicious meal with excellent service! Can’t wait to come back!
Kitchen lost ticket so waited over an hour for food.
Finished the philly half Marathon
We really enjoyed our visit with excellent food, wine and service.
My boyfriend and I dine at Parc at least three-to-four times a month. Service usually great only complaint is that it’s 13-15 dollars for a glass of wine and you literally get three sips.
We had a lovely dinner at Parc, it was absolutely what we were looking for. Close to our hotel and beautiful view of the park. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the music was lovely. This is my kind of place, I love Brasserie's.
My husband and I recently had dinner at PARC. We have been there a number of times for lunch. It has always been excellent. I was a bit disappointed in the dinner selection; the prices seem significantly higher than for lunch. However, the french onion soup was very good. I had the omelette; it had little flavor and had a very odd texture; it was very fluffy but tasted almost like rubber. There was literally no flavor to it; the mushrooms and tomatoes I ordered for the inside were the only flavor. I have had many excellent omelettes at other restaurants but this was lifeless. My husband's lobster risotto was excellent. Try this restaurant, which has a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service, but avoid the omelette. The quiche on the lunch menu is a much better choice.
I chose Parc for a fun dinner with staff and client. I've dined at Parc many times before -- love the menu (try the Grand Plateau of Oysters!!) A fun place, but not the place to have serious or business discussions. It can get very noisy. It was designed to bring a touch of the Paris cafe to Rittenhouse Square and it succeeds!
Some of the best service in Philadelphia. Save calories for the bread!
Food was delicious. Ambiance was very pleasant. Went for a business lunch. Will be back for a casual dinner.
Inexpensive and good food and service .
I've been wanting to go to Parc for the longest so, when my friend and her husband came to visit, it was an easy first pick. Our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was more than wonderful, giving her opinions on different beer and wine choices for us. The Rose' wine I had was so crisp and the perfect mix of dry and sweet.
I went un-French and had the Chicken Club sandwich and subbed out the fries for a side salad. It was really good, grilled chicken seasoned really well and the freshest avocado. I'm usually a salad dressing overindulgent but the light amount they put on the side salad was perfect.
I got to sample my friend's Steak au Pouite (I think I spelled that right) and I'm usually not a medium rare fan but it was really good. So that's on my list of things to get when I go back.
Great meal and experience. Dined with a colleague from out of town. He raved about the ambiance and food.
all our food was excellent. bread selection generous and delicious. the pate with cherry jelly on top was a wonderful combination. all the entrees: beef bourgignon, half chicken, lamb shank and fish en papillote were perfectly cooked. fish a bit bland/very subtle . the chicken was especially flavorful in a rich sauce.
service was good. kind of like being in france. a bit supercilious but attentive.
Really enjoyed the food here, so much we went twice on our weekend getaway! I’d recommend making reservations but worth the wait, if you don’t make them.
By making a reservation, we got a lovely table by the window. The beet and carrot salad was amazing as was the roast beef sandwich. Wait staff was service oriented and it was overall a wonderful lunch!
Just a brunch meal. Cafe Au lait is best in the city.
Awesome dinner!! Excellent service! Great for our weekend getaway!
Fabulous from the moment of entry...was seated quickly and placed a a great window table...food and service was fantastic! Highly recommend Parc!
Parc was amazing. For our first time there, it was more than just the food, it was the whole experience. Our waitress was both professional and personal. Our table was perfect, set right up against the window facing Rittenhouse. Our wait was very short, since we made a reservation. We arrived early, but even then they found a way to accommodate us earlier than expected.
All of our food was absolutely delicious. We ordered french onion soup grantinée, beet & carrot salad and crab & avocado for our appetizers, and steak frites for our entrées. Each meal was more delicious and flavorful than the next. The crab & avocado stood out especially for me. The steak frites was delicious, but pretty salty. But regardless, it had incredible flavor and was difficult to stop eating. Although, the sheer amount of fries on each of our plates was almost overwhelming.
At the end of the night, our waitress surprised us with a (complimentary?) dessert to celebrate our engagement. The macarons were very small, but they truly made the whole experience even better. Not to mention they were delicious and baked to perfection.
I now understand why Parc is rated so high. We ended up eating way too much amazing food, and had to cancel the rest of our evening to go home and rest! I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Well done, Parc!
We loved our food and the ambience. The service was wonderful. Our sever was very friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful.
First of all, our server, Kyle was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the entire menu and made you feel at ease the food was amazing. Escargot, trout, shrimp salad and the bread!
Table for two is best to arrive early so not to get stuck in the middle of high traffic areas.
Are location was fine, but seated next to a large party of women, very loud women..
I should have asked to be seated elsewhere.
Terrible seat. Trapped in a corner. Wife could not get out. Waitress hand to hand me food so I could put on table. Wine weak, pours. Steven Starr should be ashamed of himself and stop stuffimg
Parc was great! The service was amazing-- I accidentally knocked over and broke my glass, and the staff was very forgiving, cleaned it up quickly, and even gave me a replacement drink. I went for my birthday, so they gave us macaroons at the end of the meal! The only thing I found overpriced was the bottle of champagne and orange juice for mimosas, but that is to be expected at a place like Parc.
Amazing brunch. Arrived early so was able to get table by the window overlooking the park. Food was amazing. Pastry basket with jam was so worth it!
I ordered duck lorange. Was super salty
My favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. Great food and great service.
We always love going to Parc. I had superb mussels this time though the frites were a bit too salty. It is noisy but somehow that is just part of the happy ambience. You don't go there for a romantic tete-a-tete.
It’s our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia, period.
Although you notified me that I did not dine at Parc I have receipts indicating that I was there beginning at 6:10PM 11/8/2018. Please note this.
Our dinner at Parc was one of the best meals we have eaten in Philadelphia. We stopped at the bar for a few drinks before dinner, and we were very impressed with their specialty cocktails - I had the Romarin, which was delicious! We shared the crab and avocado appetizer, followed by beef bourguignon and the sea bass (ordered by others at the table) which were all excellent. I ordered the duck L'orange and it was superb. Dessert was also great, their pastry chef is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant, we can't wait for an excuse to go back.
Good food, great service but overpriced. The outdoor seating is fun, not quite Paris but fun for Philadelphia. Worth the visit just for the sights in Rittenhouse Square. My Cousin had the Beet Salad which she raved about. I had a chicken Salad sandwich which was just average in my mind. The wine was over-priced at $15 per glass.
