**A note from the restaurant**
Outside seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Warm Shrimp Salad
Lemon beurre blanc, avocado
Haricots verts, lemon brown butter
We arrived 30 minutes ahead of our reservation, hoping to nab an outdoor table. We were told that we'd need to wait unless we were willing to sit inside. We waited at the park and then returned and were seated in a 'chalet.' We were grateful to be outside, but our wait person took close to 20 minutes to bring us our menus and water and, basically, was hard to pin down &/or absent throughout most of our meal. My husband's trout was SO salty that it was almost inedible, but since we could not find our waitperson and he was hungry, he went ahead and ate it, while drinking TONS of water to cut the salt. My Nicoise salad was fine, but not very special (especially with canned rather than seared tuna). Coffee was watery and had to be returned for a cappucino but, of course, that took close to 15 minutes to accomplish too. Overall, a rather disappointing meal and I had left a message in our reservation that we were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary which was also not acknowledged at all!!
Awesome birthday dinner!
good food and wine selection, fun atmosphere, a little slow service.
Server was very attentive, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was energetic.
Our go to place when we visit Philadelphia. We were first seated at a table next to the bar with people as the bar literally in our lap. Upon request they graciously moved us to a new table away from the bar which was perfect. Food is always great. The tuna carpaccio was outstanding as was the steak frites.
We dined in a group of four on a Saturday evening in June. While we have always enjoyed Parc, in part because of the pandemic we had not visited in 3 years. So we were excited to go, and maybe a little worried that some of the magic might be missing. We did not need to worry. Everything was excellent. We were greeted warmly, seated immediately and served attentively. The bread is as good as ever. For appetizers we had the mushroom tart, the sardines, the salmon tartare , and the shrimp cocktail. All were good, but the shrimp cocktail was the standout here. I don’t know where they get the shrimp from, but they are always delicious. For mains we had the skirt steak, the beef Bourgignon, and the steak au poivre. We were in the mood for beef. All were excellent. For dessert we had the apple tartine with ice cream. We also had a nice burgundy red wine. It was great to be out. The restaurant was busy. And people seemed… happy. Highly recommended.
Always enjoyable! Fabulous service, fabulous food, fabulous time!
Fabulous menu. Everything very fresh and well presented. Great ambiance. Great service. One of my very favorite places!
Went for a Saturday brunch. All of the starters were very good (especially the mushroom tart), the mains were very good, and the drinks were excellent. Service was exemplary.
Fabulous brunch! Everyone loved it
My daughter’s best friend came to visit and we had the seafood plateau which was DIVINE but left little room for the rest of our lunch which was delicious but packed away. We were seated inside but at an open window. Our waitress was lovely and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A lovely late morning.
One of America's great restaurants, reminiscent of
It was a lovely experience and we love coming to Parc! The food was excellent!
We had reservations and were seated quickly. Our waiter came once and asked about drinks , and shortly after served them to us. Then we waited quite a while for him to take our order. The food was amazing and they sent macaroons as a surprise for our 38th Anniversary. That was very appreciated!
Annual celebration of the end of the school year. This one was extra special, post-Covid. Awesome meal and beverages, as usual.
Excellent, as always!
I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience at Parc. It is consistently wonderful.
Service was slow Meal came out fast but it
Would seem the server had too many tables to atttnento. Had to get another server to offer a drink to my late guest. Otherwise good experience
Our waiter was fast and attentive. Definitely gonna go back for the fries.
I always love eating at Parc! Everything is woderful. Nothing like it in De!
Parc is a great favorite of mine. Our waitperson, Daniel, made the dining extra special: professional, funny, overall terrific!
Dan, our waiter was excellent, anticipating our every need. Food was devine
We had an amazing lunch before heading over to The Flower Show. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Everything was perfectly prepared. We tried a warm chocolate cake topped with hazelnut ice cream which was one of the best desserts I've ever had. But on top of everything, this restaurant in a historic building has great ambiance. I will definitely be back : )
Fabulous as it always is. It was great to be back and feel like I was in before times!
Our waiter Timothy was excellent and made great recommendations! Really great dinner.
Parc has not missed a stepped in the last year. So glad we were able to make it one of our first restaurants to visit in Philadelphia after the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. The food was as delicious as I remembered and perfectly executed. Everyone enjoyed their meal tremendously. We were celebrating a special occasion (graduation), and Ross our waiter made an extra effort to make the graduate and everyone feel special. Ross even had a special dessert delivered to the table to congratulate the graduate. That was very thoughtful. Excellent late lunch!!
Lovely French restaurant experience. Amazing food, good selection.
Mussels were not up to par: weak garlic, lukewarm.
I iove the atmosphere and staff.
Fabulous! Outside dining was perfect. Sorry we don’t live in Philadelphia!!
Perfect as always!
Lovely neighborhood dining establishment.. many menu choices, helpful staff, well prepared and presented food
Excellent service and food. Felt just like a French bistro, very bright and full of energy! Highly recommend.
I would say 2 for "ambiance because Parc is NOTORIOUSLY LOUD. I know a lot of people who won't go there, at least inside, because it's almost impossible to carry on a conversation without screaming. The clientele would be well-served by the addition of some kind of sound buffering. Jeez!
As to the question below this commentary area "would you recommend Park to a friend?" I would have to say I certainly would, along with a WARNING ABOUT THE VERY ANNOYING SOUND LEVEL. For people to whom noise is distracting and disturbing, I'd have to say no.
Pricy, especially alcohol. Great bread. Nice washrooms. Great waitstaff.
Great experience as always
Amazing food every visit! Consistently great French cuisine. Awesome.
excellent service. the salade niçoise was fresh, vegetables were crispy, eggs well done and not overdone. All in all as good as in France.
The food was delicious. Menu has a lot of options. The booth (chalet) was very pleasant in the shade with a breeze. Service was a bit slow but the place was full and the servers tried their best. I have dined there several times recently and overall it has been consistently excellent.
Yesterday was my birthday and we celebrated with lunch at Parc. Despite the temperature being 95 degrees, we did sit outside in the structure facing Rittenhouse Square. There was a fan and a breeze so the temp was fine. We enjoyed the tuna nicoise salad, the chicken poillard, the beet salad and the burger. The food and service were great-our server even brought out a candle with 4 macaroons and "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on the plate.
Excellent food, great service. Loved the little touches they brought out because it was our anniversary.
