This is my fiancé’s favorite restaurant in Colorado. We make it a point to come here every time we’re in the Springs. The spaghetti and meatballs are always classics and the house baked bread is to die for. Highly recommend!

Thank you for accommodating our large party. Food and service were great. A little hard to hold a conversation with a large group because of the acoustics in the room.

Waitstaff were competent and cordial, as was my past experience. Lasagna was good, tomato sauce was tasty. Other meals, Veal Marsala and Veal Giuseppe were fair to poor. The marsala sauce was very thin and not reduced to an appropriate serving consistency. The Veal Giuseppe was served in a soup like condition. I asked the waiter about the dish and she willingly brought it to the kitchen to be fixed. She returned with some of the broth removed and explained it was a thin sauce and too much was added prior to serving. The problem I had was it was more of a broth and not a sauce. It did not adhere to the bow-tie noodles at all as a sauce should. The veal in the dish was tasteless unfortunately. Perhaps a browning of the veal with a little flour/starch and seasoning would improve the taste and help thicken the broth to a better consistency. I left wanting to try other restaurants before returning to Paravicini's.

Went to celebrate my daughter's Birthday and getting her Masters Degree from CC. Food is always great and just a great overall vibe with top notch mostly traditional Italian food. Great wine values as we had a terriffic DOCG Chianti on the daily special menu which was really well priced and delicious! From simple Spaghetti and Meatballs [ meatballs were awesome!] to great fish specials and outstanding freindly service, always a great time!

Ordered off their specials menu
Lobster bisque was good but was served cold.
Veal Parmigiana was filling, but the red sauce was bland
Octopus and squid ink pasta was good but sauce was on the spicy side
tiramisu was out of this world! ... hope they made it and not buy from a local bakery!
Finally our table was dark and the place was busy and very loud.

The food was prepared to order and meet all expectations. I have eaten in Italy and this restaurant is the closest place my family and I have found to it. We all enjoy this place and can not wait to return.

When visiting Colorado Springs we always make it a point to dine at Paravacini's. Originally living in Connecticut, we appreciate good, authentic Italian food and Paravacini's fits the bill. On this particular visit I had the shrimp scampi risotto and it was fabulous. The risotto was cooked perfectly, nice and creamy. My husband had the veal parm and it was as good as usual. My favorite part was that I could get my favorite wine, Montepulciano, but the glass and that is rare to be able to do that in most Italian restaurants. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Springs.

We've eaten here before and enjoyed the meals. This visit was a different experience. The food was a bit bland, veal was dry and 2 dinners were Luke warm. One tip I would offer is not to serve ravioli (very good by the way) in a bowl. It is difficult to cut and gets messy. We would go back but a repeat performance will force us to search for alternative Italian in the Springs.

Made a special stop here as we were in town for my wife's birthday & Mother's Day from Florida & daughter from LA.

This is a local favorite and it lives up to every expectation. We had 3 different entres' and 2 were vegetarian.

Old family history & recipes make THIS a MUST to eat and truly a 5 Star experience.

Thanks Shaun and Jennifer Webb

We ate there for Mother’s Day. It wasn’t as busy as I expected - just a normal busyness. There are definitely okay, better and best tables. It’s interesting to look into a very busy kitchen, but if you are looking for a romantic dinner ask to be away from the kitchen. Our server was efficient if not friendly, and the food was very good,

My family went for Mother's Day and we had such a wonderful time celebrating mom. Our server was very friendly and kind. The food was amazing. The pasta dishes were just the right size . We had the calamari that didn't disappoint and don't even get me started on the dessert's that they offered for the day. My family left completely stuffed and satisfied and even my kids asked if we could come back sometime. I highly recommend if you want some great Italian dishes. You will not be disappointed.

Had friends travelling in, and was a great opportunity to show off Old Colorado City and Franco's place. He has done so much to revitalize the area, along with all the other small businesses. My friends were equally impressed. You can't go wrong here, or his upstairs establishment, Sopra

We started with mussels and fried calamari, I could have made a meal out of just that and the wonderful salad. I ordered Veal scalopini in a cream sauce with artichoke hearts, mushrooms and bowtie pasta. It cut like butter and would melt in your mouth. We ordered chocolate cake and tiramisu. So good! Also had a glass of Sangria. Would recommend anytime!

We generally stop in for lunch. The prices are reasonable and the food is plentiful. While we were there the atmosphere was pleasant (quiet) allowing for conversation. However, with all of the hard surfaces in the room, it could get quite energetic if the room is filled.

If you like good Italian, then this is the place for you.

This restaurant was rated as romantic when I googled it and a coworker also recommended it. We were seated right near all the kitchen traffic, the place was extremely noisy, everything was rushed. The food was ok, the wine was good. Don't think we'll be back.

The staff were great. The place reminded us of a dozen Italian places in NYC (our hometown) so our hopes were high about the food. It was just OK but maybe they had an off night. In particular the bolognese sauce was not bolognese sauce. It was red sauce with meat and not tasty. The gnocchi was heaven the sauce well not good. I also had the wedding soup and it was soup (good) with enough raw spinach on top of it to make a salad. Weird.
That said, we will go back as I think they had an off night.
Sorry except for the bolognese sauce that was a very sad red sauce with ground beef. I wouldn’t order until the cook reads a recipe.

It was fun to have dinner at a restaurant that serves delicious old school Italian comfort food that was easy to get to (plus parking) and had such great service. We were sad to hear that a table left around the same time we did stiffed our wonderful waitress on her tip -- not cool! Definitely would go back again when we are visiting the Springs!
