Paravicinis Italian Bistro Ratings and Reviews
While most of the other eateries in town were empty, this place was totally jumping. The selection has some classic Italian as well as very special items of there own take on dishes. The portions are really large. Our appetizer, which we shared, was enough actually as a meal! Their house salad is delicious and served family style for two.
The service needs a mention as Jamie was more than a total delight!!!
Nothing compares to the #1authentic Italian restaurant in Colorado -PARAVINCINIS is our go to place for great food! Franco is an amazing man who loves his coustomers and is a fantastic employer. We have been going to this restaurant since their grand opening many years ago. Try SOPRA also, tapas and great drinks upstairs from Paravincinis. Do not hesitate, just GO but call for reservation first or you will have to wait.
It's a great casual get-together for friends. My wife thought her meat was undercooked, where after, the waitress sincerely apologized, and offered to go redo it. My wife passed and the waitress brought her a free dessert and a coupon for our next visit. THAT's taking care of customers and was an excellent step beyond the expected to make sure the visit is great. Kudo's to the very friendly staff, and their focus on a great customer experience.
The filet mignon was wonderful, service was normal, the atmosphere was extremely loud and I would not recommend for a special date or occasion as it was hard to hear the other people at the table. It would be great for friends hanging out as it was a fun atmosphere. The calamari was a little rubbery and the salads were not crisp.
Food was fabulous, service was great. Could have done without the loud pompous guy in red jacket sitting at the table next to us. He seemed to find great pleasure in berating the waitress and complained through the entire meal. If it weren’t for the great food and service we would have walked out on account of his miserable self.
First time here we have traveled two Old Colorado City and decided to have lunch my friend had heard about the the restaurant on television . I was surprised how good the food is in this neighborhood Corner Restaurant. The waitress was wonderful and knowledgeable about all the food and drink. I asked to sit in another spot because I was too close to the door everyone walking by me when they entered or left and she moved us right away. We will be back
We recently enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Paravicinis with friends and family. As usual, the food was excellent. When we realized it was restaurant week, my husband and I ordered off the menu for this occasion. What a bargain! The meal included, appetizer, salad, entrée, dessert and a bottle of wine for the two of us.
We were traveling and selected Paravicini's due to its rating on the Open Table Web Site. It was completely booked except for an early seating, which we took, looking for good Italian food. The Caesar salad was some of the best we have ever had, obviously freshly made. The Shrimp Puttanesca was flavorful, without being spicy and the veal parmigiana was well cooked without being dry and over done. We feasted and were impressed with every selection we ordered. The service was attentive but not intrusive. This is a gem, well worth many repeat visits and on the top of our list whenever we travel in the area.
We've been here a couple of times before and it was the best Italian food in the Colorado Springs area. This time some of the pasta was overcooked, some undercooked, the ingredients seemed to have lower quality. A little disappointing this time, but hopefully an outlier.
We have eaten at Paravicini’s many times and it is always excellent. Great Italian food, great Bread, great wine list and a number of non-Italian dishes that are delicious too. The salmon Jeanette with shrimp and mustard cream sauce is to die for. They also have one of my favorite desserts the parfait. It’s a layering of ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream and is awesome!
