Paravicinis Italian Bistro Ratings and Reviews
It was really loud in there and not cozy or romantic where my husband and I were sitting which was a bit disappointing. However, the food was absolutely amazing! I got the chicken Marco and I loved it! Our server was great. We will definitely go back again!
This has been my favorite restaurant in the Springs for quite some time but I’m so sad to say that this last experience was terrible. Our waiter was so rude, we like to have some drinks, have a few appetizers and take our time before we order our main dishes. Our waiter made it very obvious that he wanted us to get in and out as fast as possible. I come for the experience as well as the food. He swiped our salads and appetizers before we were even finished and before we could even say anything! And the worst part is that I ALWAYS order the Capellini Pomodoro and it was completely different and unsatisfactory from what I’m used to. Such a disappointment. I’m on the prowl for another favorite Italian restaurant😢
Paravicini's is always busy, and with good reason; the food is always excellent. My only criticism (and I don't know what could be done about it) is that, in the winter, when it's frigid out, every time the front door opens, the tables close to the door feel it. Back room's best to avoid that. Despite that, the restaurant is one of our favorites.
Food was terrific, salmon was cooked perfect, veal porcini was tender, and sauces were very good. Service was friendly and prompt. Only reason for 4 stars was that we had indicated birthday on the reservation and also mentioned it to the server, but no special attention or any add on ... so a little disappointed in that. We will be back however.
Kat was our server, and she was phenomenal. Not only did she ask specifically about wanting vermouth in my gin martini (which is rare), but her food recommendations were on point. It was my wife's birthday, and I wanted to take her some place special. The service was perfect, the food was amazing and I will definitely be back. I've already blasted this on FB as the best service we've had in Colorado Springs. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for great food, great drinks and impeccable service. In a word, Awesome.
Hello, your restaurant was named as the "best" Italian restaurant in Colorado. So, as lovers of Italian food we wanted to try your restaurant. The actual table was small. With only the bread plate and four wine glasses there was no room left for an appetizer with it's plates and utensils.
Our server we had was very unfriendly. I wanted angel hair pasta, you had none. My "Tutto di Mare" was tasteless. Not enough garlic in the white sauce. I asked for extra spicy and received only spicy. My wife's veal piccata also lacked flavor. Our friend had sausage and spaghetti, her red sauce was delicious. The house Chianti was very good, I had three glasses. We were seated near the kitchen and the noise of the clanging pots and pans was almost unbearable.
Sorry for the poor review of our restaurant, but this was my experience.
We were new to the area and wanted some authentic italian cuisine for a family get together. We found this gem through open table’s search and it’s high star reviews. We were not disappointed! The service was fantastic (Stacy) and the ambiance was perfect. Considering our family is italian, we have high expectations about italian food. The choices were varied and had something for everyone in our group including four children. The taste of each dish was sampled by many and the unanamous decision was this was as good as grandma could have made. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Colorado Springs area. We can’t wait to visit again.
We've enjoyed multiple meals that were fantastic here. We've usually gone with friends and both of our families have included kids that ranged in age from 4 to 10. The wait staff was friendly towards our children and nobody seems to mind that we had kids. The food is excellent and if you were looking for authentic Italian This Is The Place To Go. Excellent restaurant.
Great place to go on a date. We were a little cold because the door kept opening and we were in the breeze way. The food was really good as normal. I was slightly disappointed with mine because there wasn’t as much sauce as normal. Can’t wait to go back and give 5 stars all the way down!
We agree wholeheartedly with all of the other great reviews! We are so happy that we chose this place for our Christmas Eve Dinner. The food was so delicious and we loved every moment of the dinner. The Veal Giuseppe was fantastic! My wife had the Chicken Marco and it was fantastic and large enough to feed 3 people. We will be back!
We were there for my mom's birthday - just a couple days before christmas, so it was fairly busy. The food was good, nothing too outstanding, but good. Price point might be a tad high for the entrees given that they are pretty standard italian fare with regards to quality and creativity. The wait staff seemed, at times, to be annoyed with our requests such as extra plates so we could all share dessert. However, given the lack of competition in the area, we would return and would suggest it to others.
Overpriced, overseasoned, subpar pasta and all of us had a slightly upset stomach in the hours following dinner. Had two little ones with us, which had been mentioned in our reservation, and we were seated in front of the door...every time door opened we were blasted with freezing air. Pretty loud, but tolerable. Server was average, slow on beverage refills and mia for a while. I'd like to love this spot, but I don't think we'll be returning.
