very delicious & super friendly staff!
Perfect for pre theater. Not overly crowded and attentive staff. Convenience and being able to hear your dinner companions has to be worth the cost. Drinks were exceedingly expensive
Waited for a half an hour to get service, then waited for another 45 minutes for two burgers, french fries and a salad to come out. Don't waste your time going here. Unless you going just for a drink.
Way too expensive for comfort food. I’ve never paid $7 for a coffee
My husband, son, and I went for lunch during Christmas week. The restaurant is in the Paramount hotel. The place was pretty empty at the time we went. We were very happy with the service and the food. My only complaint was the price. I am used to city prices, but I think this was way overpriced.
Service was good, just slow, food was ok, not bad. Prob wouldn’t go there again for the prices they charge. Also they got all orders delivered correctly but they totally missed one meal and got that meal after the other 6 in our party finished. Tried to make me feel better by giving me a free side salad while I waited for my chicken dinner. Figured they would at least discount something on our ticket but no they didn’t. Won’t go back...
Very average place. Will not go back again. If you looking average hotel meal it will be ok. Nothing special at all
Wonderful evening. Food was tasty and refined. Thomas our waiter was superb
Overall great food, but hidden fees included on your bill
It was a sunday at 1:30PM in the Theater District and we were the only people in the whole place. The place was stale looking and the food was only ok. It isn't fun to be the only people at a restaurant.
I would have loved tonprovide tgis resturant with a good review unfortunately I cannot. I went to eat before our Hamilton show. We ordered Baked chicken and a burger 45 mins after we placed the order that came and advised us that they made the wrong chicken. We requested to have them spilt the burger so we would not be late to our show. 20 mins later the burger came out. It was a good burger however we had to rush it down. I would like to go back home we they never even said we will compensate you to come back and try again. Dont go before a show.
Great location near Richard Rogers theater
Paramount was lovely and quiet but expensive. I think we had oatmeal, a bagel and 2 coffees and the bill was 45 dollars.
I got sick from the food
The service was great and the food was fantastic. We were in and out in no time (had to get to the show), but never once felt rushed. The desserts were amazing.
Paramount Barand Grill was a very pleasurable experience! The service was excellent, ambiance sufficient the food was ok! I and my lady didn’t think the quality of our entree choices was equal to the cost!
Decor straight out of the late 70's. Service was fair at best. Steak was delicious , but dessert lackluster.
Outstanding service & food!
Showed up for a 1:00pm lunch reservation and was told they don’t serve lunch.
The atmosphere was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the meal and liked the fact that they played listenable music, not anything too noisy or modern. We were there for our anniversary, before going to the theater, and felt it was an excellent choice. We'll likely go back again in future.
Nice ambiance, great service, food was mediocre, overcooked salmon, under-cooked fried green tomatoes, overcooked ribs. Hamburger and calamari were tasty.
Excellent choice for pre theatre dinner but beyond that a very congenial place with very good food and excellent service. Loved the ambiance.
There were mixed reviews as far as food and service. This is a hidden gem. ON Saturday night, it was not busy at all. We chose the pre-theatre dinner . We were not disappointed at all.
We were surprised that the Paramount Bar and Grill had few customers. Located across from a major Broadway Theater, we thought it would be packed after the matinee showing of "Hamilton." Although we made a reservation, with so many empty tables, we really didn't need one. Our waiter was fair; English was his second language and, although he seemed to understand us, we had some trouble understanding him. Overall the food quality was very good; I thought the prices were fair. The only trouble we had was with a mixed drink that obviously contained no alcohol. Although we complained, no replacement was offered. We ended up ordering another drink with a shot of vodka served separately. That worked well.
My husband and I came here for a pre-Hamilton dinner on a Friday evening. We were in and out in less than an hour, with no special request to hurry for the show. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was superb. Food was amazingly good. We each had the filet and agreed it was the best we've ever had and it was cooked to perfection. I had read a few bad reviews but have to say we had a great experience. It's a bit pricey, but that's New York. We recommend the Paramount highly.
Excellent food. Attentive service - with a smile.
Myself and my team of 5 were the only one's in the entire restaurant. The place is nice I suppose but very odd to be completely empty in the middle of Midtown Manhattan at 12:30 pm. It was ice cold in the restaurant which made dining there very uncomfortable. The food was not very appetizing. The menu was more of a NYC deli than an actual sit down dining establishment. The waiters didn't really seem to have much experience. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
We went to Paramount Bar and Grill based on its ratings on OpenTable. It was a hidden gem in the Paramount Hotel right in the theater district. Rodney was a fabulous server and the food was really good. I had a lobster roll and it was delicious! The atmosphere was very relaxing, with low lighting. I would definitely return!
Paramount Hotel bar & Grill is a good find in the heart of the theatre district. We had a fine meal, in a nice setting, and had an attentive waiter. I'd recommend this place because it wasn't a crazy busy restaurant, and it was very convenient for pre-show meal.
I would definitely come back again,
Very attractive room off the lobby of a hotel in the theater district in NYC. The waiter was attentive, but needed more training. It was pretty empty. So quiet. The food was good.
The Turkey Club and Sweet Potato Fries were delicious!
Great hidden resource before seeing a play
Horrible ! Worst experience ever in NYC !
We made a 530pm reservation for dinner pre-Hamilton.
Arrived on time and let the staff know we had to be in and out in an hour. No issue they say.
Service was non-existent - 30mins to get drinks - very average - Grey Goose must have jumped out of the drink on the way over !
Finally got order in for dinner at 550pm. At 630pm with no bread or follow up service - no food In sight, we called it quits, paid for drinks and left. Argument with service staff where they blamed the other patrons for delay in our food - the place was virtually empty !
Thankfully Patzeria next door has great pizza ! And quick service !!!
The most wonderful service! Have been there twice now and we adore our waiter,
The service here was wonderful. We met the kindest servers! The food and atmosphere were great! I would go back!
Pros: Nice setting; great service; convenient to theaters.
Cons: Limited, lunch menu; cocktails not available. Bar didn't open until 5. Ordered a Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was very good but wasn't satisfied with the salad due to a very small portion and the dressing didn't have a typical Caesar flavor.
I wish I could recommend because service was very good.
The menu was very limited. The bar was closed for lunch on a Saturday. My fish was very dry. It was convenient to the theater, but I wouldn't go there again.
What a gem! Lovely spot pre or post theater! Great food & ambiance.
We loved the food, and especially our server, Thomas! He made our evening very special!
We were the only ones there. the buffet is only very early.
the food was fair. Only great thing was that was very convenient for theater and they took a reservation on a sunday for brunch. There is no real brunch menu - breakfast and lunch menus.
