We used to love this place. Very disappointed by our last visit. Service was awful. Had to remind our server about our drinks multiple times. Menu was limited.
Slow in food coming out this time, perhaps due to a wedding in the hotel; the dining room itself was quite empty however. Food prep is consistently quite good + farm-to-table fare is unusual for a hotel dining room—hence, we like catching a meal here even though we live in town. Marriott Bonvoy points are a plus.
Surprisingly good food. Service was prompt and attentive. This is a lobby restaurant in the Marriott hotel which is fine but a different experience which we weren’t prepare for. Overall, food more than offset the TVs and music in the background.
Very nice farm-to-table fare. Great desserts:)
Very tasty farm-to-table menu with nice choices!
I would not recommend this restaurant for lunch. They a VERY limited menu and not many customers. so they also reduced staff. They should probably close for lunch.
Good breakfast buffet
One of best hotel bars I’ve been to. Steak salad was great and beer on tap was very good. Service was excellent
Excellent service value surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant!
Pleasant looking restaurant in lobby of Marriott. Young people running thru lobby in bathing suits. Current louder music playing above our heads.
Waiter inexperienced but pleasant. Food was nice. Hamburger my husband had was excellent. (According to him). My chicken was quite tasty while a bit
Dried out. Creme brûlée dessert was excellent. Decaf coffee was excellent.
Excellent food. Apps were generous in size. Service was good but a bit slow at times. Worked for us since we wanted a nice leisurely meal in a nice environment.
Food was ok. They were out of two items that were on the menu .. crab cakes and flatbread appetizers
Service was fine. Noise level was very high
usually do not dine in hotels restaurants......but wanted to check this out because of good reviews.....really was a great dining experience.....friendly and helpful staff.....nice selection on menu......was a very good dinner in a nice setting
Lovely dinner. Food choices were great and food quality was spot on. What a nice little gem tucked inside the Marriott.
Overall, we enjoyed a good meal. It is always lively at the restaurant. Service is extremely slow, not sure if they just don’t have enough wait staff!
Reliably well-prepared farm-to-table menu. Attentive service. Pleasant wine by the glass!
One of my favorite "local" restaurants for date night, a quiet girls night or family dinner. It's a hidden gem tucked away in a beautiful Marriott Hotel. Beautiful ambience, with large, spread out tables, so you aren't on top of the people dining next to you. Excellent hand-crafted cocktails. And great food! Their brussel sprouts are the best around, and their cauliflower appetizer, adult grilled cheese appetizer, and ALL of their desserts are excellent! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Food and service was great, however, I didn't realize it was located in a hotel. Not terrible for a location but was looking for a quite romantic dinner for date-night with my husband. The restaurant was open to the hotel lobby.
The restaurant is in a Marriott with large TV screens, so not quiet or cozy. The food was adequate... burger good. Ok for a light meal. Nothing special.
Cocktails were TERRIBLE. Luckily our waiter was good & replaced the drink with a simple Bourbon & Coke. The barratta salad was good. Overall just a hotel restaurant.
It was an awful hotel restaurant-not as advertised. I got sick from the food later in the day. Stay away
The fish sandwich is always fresh, beautifully cooked and delicious. Also love the crispy Brussel sprouts.
The food served is really not as good as the price point, which means we did not get a good value. In addition, we dressed according to the price point (that is, nice) and there were plenty of diners in sweatpants, flip flops, and T-shirts. Lastly, our entrees were brought out when we were barely halfway through our appetizers. No thanks, we will not be back.
Good food, easy to get into on short notice. Full dinners or burgers.
Who knew a hotel restaurant could be so good?
A hidden treasure in a place you would not expect. The food was great and our service was great too.
Poor service, tables not cleaned, inattentive waiters, food ok but pricey for overall experience
Great food, great service, comfortable setting, can’t wait to return
Parallel Post is terrific! Not just for hotel guests- as locals we eat there often and are guaranteed great food and drinks! Recently our Christmas Eve plans fell through and they were open with cheerful attentive staff despite a quiet night, and the meal was amazing as always. Highly recommend!
I wish that open table had indicated that the restaurant was in a Marriot Hotel first of all. The seating was all within a bar with very loud music (and terrible - 80’s and 90’s pop) we asked to be seated elsewhere, but they didn’t have any quieter area. It was very difficult to have conversation. The food was just ok, but the service (Jonathan) was outstanding.
Great food and service as always!!
The menu is somewhat limited, but the dishes were all good and the quality high. Very surprising to find a locavore approach in a chain hotel. We went on a holiday -- the 4th of July -- figuring it would be open because it's in a hotel, but probably wouldn't be crazy busy. It met our expectations on that front and exceeded on the food front.
Food was excellent! We ordered and shared their Caesar salad and a grilled skirt steak. Both plates were different than usual; the salad was dry but heavy on the parmesian and generous with the croutons. It was also a large portion that two could share. The steak was served medium rare with a light glaze, sliced potatoes and a type of broccoli Rabe / broccoli hybrid I'd never had before. Add to that an excellent Malbec (sauvignon blanc for my wife - also superb) and we had an outstanding meal. Great service too. We plan to go back.
we love our usual server Dave and the food is terrific as are the drinks and wine. It is a super value when we take the hotel pkg with dinner and bkfst.
My husband ate here once before and said that the grassfed burger was outrageous and wanted to go back! I was open to it, I even looked up the menu before hand, knowing that my mom, myself and my daughter would all want salmon for dinner. The menu online said Pan-Roasted Salmon, however when we got there I asked why the menu was different and they said that the menu online was really old and they don't update it at all.... Had I know that, I would have maybe chose a different restaurant.
Food was outstanding especially the crispy brussels sprouts and roasted califlower. But all the tables were in bar area and the waitress disappeared for long periods of time.
Parallel Post is NOT your typical hotel restaurant. This farm to table restaurant has delicious food and fantastic drinks. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower sides are a must try! It's the perfect spot for a date night or a get together with a group of friends.
Attentive and flexible staff - knew the menu well. Local farm fresh foods were interesting. An event at the hotel made it a bit noisy, but not unbearable.
Should have been a better experience, but for the clunky service. We were seated right away but waited too long to be visited. When the server did arrive she was anxious to take our entree order -- but we were only ready to order drinks. We had to ask if there were specials.
The food was tasty. Good Caesar, delicious tenderloin, even if it was cold when delivered. Other things ordered that had raves were the beet salad and the short ribs. The 2nd glass of wine arrived long after we began our entrees. Then, we were forgotten. By the time she wanted to take our dessert order, we were ready to leave.
Nice wait staff and good food ! Will go back ❤️️
Was here for work and was not expecting such a delicious, enjoyable dining experience. Our server was remarkable.. I would dine here even if I weren't a guest at the hotel.
