Really excellent meal .. really !!
Good food, good service and quiet enough to hold a conversation.
The food quality and presentation was a solid 5-Star and we would come back and eat here again. However, the room feels outdated and we felt that we were sitting in a Marriott breakfast room. No offense to Marriott, but we were expecting a Ritz dining experience, but it was missing elegance and glam. Our table was too close to the table next to us so our conversations were not private unless we whisper. The service was great but for a pre-fixe dinner, they shouldn’t have clear my husband’s plate before I was done eating. Anyway, if you don’t have high standards like we did, and wanted to have a well-executed meal, Parallel 37 can deliver that!!
A hidden gem in San Francisco.
Fantastic experience, fresh and innovative menu and a good wine selection.
There were four of us enjoying dinner at Parallel. We were treated expertly - Justin our waiter was available but did not hover. They were generous and professional. Our dinners were delicious. All of us agree that we would return another time. (Not always a "given" when dining in SF).
Outstanding chef, servers ands wait staff. Terrific food. Excellent wine pairings. Quiet ambience with comfortably spaced tables- you can carry on a normal conversation!
Thee whole experience was amazing. Every single staff member was attentive. They were careful with my son’s nut allergies. They gave us personalized attention. Thank you Carl and staff. The food was delicious and we loved the presentation of it. Thanks
The food and wine at Parallel 37 was delicious. My friend and I couldn’t decide on a wine, so we were then greeted with a complimentary glass of Sav Blanc while we perused the menu more. We then shared the charred octopus which was to die for. For dinner we shared the lamb pesto pasta and the beef Wellington, both of which were amazing! The lamb was unique and served in a way I’ve never seen before. Our waiter brought us each a glass of wine to go with each entree as well. With our check we also received macaroons and truffle chocolates on the house. Overall a fantastic experience! We will be back!
Every time I eat here, I make sure that Zach is our waiter, he’s the best!!!
Good chef and bartender. Cocktails are so good!
Great food. Excellent service.
What a nice meal- like every meal, each time we ate there- breakfast lunch and dinner over the course of our stay- breakfast was very good, truffle and burrata omlette which was excellent...tater tots on the side a bonus! Lunch we had a turkey ruben and a chopped chicken salad- both excellent- and dinner was yummy- crab and caviar tacos? Yes please- perfect portion size, friendly servers....highly recommend
We received a call a few days prior to our dinner informing us that the restaurant had been sold out for a private event and that we would be moved to the lounge. We made a few simple requests, that being we would have a square table, non club seating, and full access to Parallel 37's dinner menu and we were assured that our dining experience would be as such. It was not. Our experience was noting short of appalling. After speaking to staff and management it was clear to us that they were not even willing to provide the most basic of effects. In light of that we chose to leave taking our patronage elsewhere.
Sadly, my aunt ordered 2 soft boiled eggs- they were hard boiled- just not something that should happen at a Ritz Carlton, especially at its price point.
I am a big fan of Ahi Tuna and their ahi tuna was unparalleled to any I’ve ever had. Incredible. All of the dishes seemed well thought out and decadent. Also enjoyed the vegetable ragoût. Amazing as well! Recommend heavily! Only downside was that there wasn’t a crowd in there and was quiet, but the food was 10/10.
Excellent food and very helpful staff, great menu, well worth a visit for any occasion
Easter buffet is not as good as before especially back in the days where kids are welcome and they have Easter egg hunt.
Not inexpensive but worth the $$$$
Excellent meal, excellent service, beautiful presentation! My husband and I shared a number of small plates which were plentiful. Fabulous wine list and very knowledgeable wine staff with a friendly, laid back style.
Our first visit to Parallel 37 was amazing - every dish was outstanding, as was the service. Unfortunately the bar was set too high as our second visit was rather disappointing. Service was again amazing, but the food missed the mark. Salad was good, octopus was okay and duck was overcooked and tough, which at $115 was hard to overlook.
The lunch time is not in Parallel 37 at all，this is a fake reservation，please change the location and give more information.
It was for my birthday dinner.
I was spoiled with extra glasses of Champaign and of course I totally enjoyed the dishes of Chef's menu.
I have dine at this restaurant for decade and the service is just outstanding as always. I would give it a 6 starts if there is.
Very pretty restaurant with wonderful waitstaff. I had a pasta dinner that was so salty I couldn't finish it, and I had the small portion. All good except the food, the important part.
We had the best time. It was my daughters birthday and they made us feel like royalty the food was delicious we loved every moment can’t wait to come back!
Food wasn’t t that great for the price. Service was top notch. All in all could have been better.
Outstanding food and the service is perfection in every way!!!!
It was a little disappointing
The reviews were so positive we did not have that experience
Came for the Valentine Dinner special. Very nice and modern restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton. Had a table in the middle but notice they have very comfortable looking corner booths also but were full. Started with some warm, soft pillowy sweet bread, very tasty. Then came a Beets/citrus appetizer which was very good.Second was the Hamachi, very well made and flavorful. Third course was the dungeonous crab noodles with leek sauce which was my favorite of the night.Excellent dish on its own. We added the sea urchin risotto with truffles and it was a bad choice. The risotto was too creamy for my liking and the truffles had a bad smell plus it was $85 more.Ugh. Next was a generous serving of duck breast. Not a fan of duck,so I had that boxed to go. No fault of the restaurant but it looked good.Last was the beef duo of short rib and beef tenderloin, it was ok but I overheard other tables say it was their favorite of the night. We were full at this point so we asked to have the dessert packed to go. We saw the dessert at other tables and it was this impressive ball-like container with I think was pomegranate sweets inside. When I got home and looked for the dessert all we got was a box of Valentine chocolates.Disappointing for a expensive dinner.
Our dinner was ruined by loud-mouthed show-off drunks! Lunch in he bar is far more satisfying. Food is superb; service First-Rate. But cell phones out, loud drunks too distracting to linger
We were treated to lovely half glasses on good champagne to start our celebration dinner. Lovely touch.
We all enjoyed the appetizers. Nice portion sizes.
Pasta with mushrooms, and the cheese burger were the highlights of the main dishes. Vegetable ragu was disappointing, as it was just grilled vegetables put on a plate with some tasteless sauce. But they made up for it in desserts. Delicious chocolate palette and yummy creme brûlée’. What made the experience memorable though, was the great service, and beautiful setting.
We were there on February 5 and 7 for dinner.
Both food were excellent but the food on February 7 was more favorable.
The volume and the selections of vegies and meats on February 7 were more favorable to us.
We will try again tonight.
See you soon!
First off, let me say that the service was excellent. The waiters were very friendly, and were very nice to our kids, who accompanied us for my husband's birthday. Also appreciated the chocolate mousse with the candle they brought out at the end for my husband. As for the food, it was good to have a kids menu, and the food was okay. My husband liked his sirloin steak, topped with what seemed like oats. However, I ordered the lamb, and got two tiny lamb chops, served with lentils, a couple of tiny beets, and some kind of sweet and sour orange sauce. Now sweet and sour sauce do NOT go with lamb. I absolutely hated it, and had to force myself to finish it. The appetizers (ahi tuna poke and shrimp tempura) were forgettable. At one time, the Ritz had a good dining experience. I remember a memorable nine-course Chef's tasting menu (before we had kids). Now, I would just give the food a charitable 2 stars. Very disappointed.
Food was great. We wanted to bring a bottle of wine we had been saving, but their corkage was...$85 LOL
I was looking for restaurant week locations
Not sure how I ended up on 37’s page but I booked it and discovered my error when I arrived.
Mind the less, we enjoyed the meal and especially the staff - so kind!
The service was outstanding. The food was stellar. We especially loved the black cod entree. It was superb!
Great breakfast ( although I miss the banquet) , friendly staff , that's why we returned!
Amazing food, service and ambiance... Just wish that they would've told us about the NYE dining price mark up. We paid $500 when we were only expecting about $350.
We definitely plan on returning in the future where the average is about $95pp.
