Quaint spot near Union Square to grab a bite, especially during the holidays. Lightly attended the early December Friday night we were there brought some early concern that was obviated quickly by the excellent waitstaff service & solid menu and thus resulting dishes. The signature seared calimari was excellent as advertized, though the steak was a bit light on flavor. Great oysters on the half-shell paired well with the oxtail pasta & basic but tasty wine-by-the-glass list.

As a foodie, who travels for work and knows chefs and great spots, I am amazed that this place is not packed, day in and day out. Maybe because it's at the Ritz Carlton Hotel? In NYC or London, it doesn't matter where the restaurant is as long as it's good. What if it was a food truck, then the locals would come? Come on people, get over it...
Chef Michael is one of the countries best chefs and the location, food, presentation, and wine list are top draw. Amazing dinner with friends and co-workers. I see this place getting a Michelin star soon!

Excellent food and service. Very creatively prepared and served. Zach, our server, was outstanding with food and wine recommendations and made the evening very pleasant. Crab tacos, seared octopus, lamb and halibut were outstanding. Cheese plate for desert was excellent. Great evening.
Don’t let the fact that this is a hotel restaurant fool you. Great bartender, service was impeccable. Food was 10/10. Fresh oysters were to die for as was the lamb.
Seated at a great window table, albeit chairs designed for tall people. I had the delicious seafood risotto which I paired with a DuMOL 2013 Chardonnay served by the glass. Wait staff very attentive. Do make a reservation.

I had a terrific breakfast - a veggie frittata, sausage and toast . Everything was perfect including the unobtrusive service .

Service was very good, but the initial service wasn’t anywhere near the Ritz-Carlton gold standard. Menu looked excellent, but only two vegiarian options: avocado toast, and oatmeal, both at $16-18 left me and my guest hungry and disappointed.

We came here for my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed! The ambiance set the tone for how the eveningwoild go. We ordered the chef's tasting menu and it was worth the price. We recommend this spot for special occasions and we will definitely be returning.

Modern décor and modern cuisine connect in this space. The food has actually improved, there is greater attention to mouth feel and texture, and the flavors are more nuanced. Service was attentive and engaging, and made our evening a delight. The Chefs Tasting Menu was a modern whirl through the world, textures and flavors and presentation that spoke of a caring and thoughtful palate in the kitchen.
Unfortunately nothing special. Not bad or good. Server was great.
Plating was VERY outstanding. I couldn't stop being excited about what the next plating would look like. However, I did request that I did not eat certain meat and one dish was something I could not eat. However, I passed it on to my boyfriend since I was getting full anyways. But regardless of the tiny mistake service was GREAT.
First time at Parrallel 37 and I was quite impressed by the food. Surprisingly good - in fact great. Will certainly go again to try more.
Lovely restaurant with great menu for a special occasion
Found on Open Table based on reviews and location to hotel. The restaurant is a very small bistro with great service and amazing food. The menu may be a little limited; but that just means the food they prepare is amazing. I’d recommend the Crab Cake to start and the Toulouse inspired cassoulet! All in all a good night out.
Amazing service. Everyone was personable, respectful, attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious. Everything about my boyfriend and my dining experience was exceptional.
Ambiance was not what I liked. Far too 'hip'. Very noisy. Not a place for a romantic dinner. You really cannot have a quiet conversation here. The food was fantastic however. Some scmuck next to us ordered a hamburger . . . . oh well.

The food, wine and service were on par with what you’d expect from a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton. The restaurant was moderately busy but very quiet. They don’t try to cram extra tables like many SF restaurants. The menu was diverse enough to satisfy just about any taste.

The food and service were good but they seated us (party of 2 for anniversary) at a table for 2. The lighting was very bright, not cozy or romantic. It felt more like a hotel ballroom than a restaurant.
We had an exceptional dinner. The menu now offers several entrees to be shared. We had the duck - a full crisp duck. It would easily have served three and it was very good. To start, one can order a half portion of the pasts which were also excellent.
Not inexpensive but worth it.
Wonderful brunch. The stuffed French toast was delicious and the portion was generous. Really enjoyed the Beta Bomb juice cocktail. The service is excellent and everyone was friendly and accommodating.
I had a nice dinner at Parallel 37. It was easy to make reservations and the host accommodated us even though we were one hour late! My husband and I decided to be spontaneous and opted for the chef tasting menu. The tasting menu came with amuse bouche, appetizer, 3 small entrees (1 fish and 2 meat dishes), a sorbet for palette cleanser, and dessert. I thought each dish was well prepared and tasty. The ingredients were fresh and nicely put together. The service was also very good - the servers were friendly, refilled our drinks and bread promptly, and were knowledgeable of the menu. I also enjoyed the ambiance because the restaurant wasn't too noisy, which is somewhat hard to find these days.
All was good, however the folks at OpenTable screwed me as I didn't get any points for my meal.

We were there for the Mother's Day brunch. The food was fabulous and the dessert bar was a hit especially with my son. The set menu options were varied with many great options.
We went for Mother's Day Brunch and had the most amazing meal. Chef Robert Greene was outstanding and we left there feeling blown away by the creativity, presentation, and craftsmanship that defines fine dining. Can't wait to go back!

You should not be able then to book it on opentable
The lounge menu is definitively not the same
But quality was good still
