We went for brunch on Sunday, Our server was friendly and took care of everything we needed without being intrusive. We were pleasantly surprised at the menu choices and ordered several different options. The breakfast bowls were very good, ample with good flavor. The chicken was a little dry on the chicken and waffles, but my daughter still enjoyed the dish both that day and for leftovers. The biscuits and gravy were probably some of those tastier that I have had in a restaurant. We will go back.
All and all, changes to the menu have made this just another cookie cutter restaurant with bland food.
Paradise hits a nice balance. Moderately priced, not the most expensive, not the cheapest. Good atmosphere and generally excellent service. Not "trendy" or pretentious. You can bring a date or you can bring the family. Food has always been well prepared on all of my visits. Enough food choices to satisfy almost everyone in a group.
Great, fun spot for brunch...I'd like to go back to try other tasty meals. The French toast was delish and the Pickled Mary was a fun start to brunch.
Great pot pie! Good service. Got a table right away.
We have been to Paradise Diner a few times and have always had good food and service. We recently went on Valentines Day and again, the food and service were outstanding.
I was suspicious that I could get a reservation on Valentine's Day two days in advance, but was eager to give it a try. We were a bit concerned when my husband ordered a couple selections of beer just to find out that they were out of stock. Seemed odd they wouldn't be prepared for Valentine's Day. We started with the smoked trout dip that was okay. My son liked it, but I was expecting something else that I'd had in FL chilled and this was served warm. It also didn't come with enough crusty bread slices for the amount of dip. We did all enjoy our entrees of the chicken fried steak, trout, and cobb salad.
I love coming to Paradise Diner, it is one of my favorites. This time I had bad service. Every time I asked for something she would tell me it was on the way, and it never showed up. I asked for bread when we sat down to settle my stomach, said it was in the oven but never came out. I asked for another tortilla for my burrito bowl, and she said it was on the grille and never came out.
Although we had a reservation, the hostess could only offer us a high top table or the bar. Our service at the bar was great, but the food was just "okay." Nothing special, but not bad!
