Awful. The service helped two other tables that came in AFTER us while we sat and waited... my daughter hurt herself on their table but it took over 20 minutes to get the ice I requested to help her.
The food was below average. Big portions but not good quality. And overpriced with a nice view.
Family style plates feed 3 not two so come hungry. Even single order Beef ribs are huge.
My friend and I went for dinner after spending the afternoon at Point Dume. We were seated and attended to quickly. Prices were a little high. But we soon found out it was because you get a massive amount of food. I took half my food home. I feel like I would've rather paid less for less food of the same quality. It was just a lot. But great food. And definitely great for big groups.
Great location, cool ambience and historical photos of Malibu. Service was prompt and attentive. However, their premium margarita was the worst I have had, and the food was a C- at best. 2nd time here in 6 months and we had a similar experience the first time. Figured we'd give it a second chance but food was really marginal again. Hoping they get better because it has great potential.
Great ambience outside looking at Ocean. Heaters not that effective though. Service pretty slow but we were comped a dish as he took the order wrong so that conpensated You go for the ocean but the food was pretty good and large portions reflected.by the pricey Malibu prices . Good place to take out of towners.
Good food, many menu options, big platters, great old time beach ambiance, wonderful old photos surrounding tables. Can eat on beach in comfy seating. Visiting cousins loved their anniversary old LA experience.
Average "beach food" but fine. Service was awful but how can you beat the beachfront location.
Paradise Cove is a beautiful spot on the sand. Restaurant is casual, usually crowded and loud, but that's the environment. Not for a quiet first date. Food is good and plentiful, although fairly pricey.
We tried this place on a whim. we have our Malibu favorite spots that we generally stick to but decided to try something new. THIS is now on our favorites list. We loved everything about it!
Love this place fantastic always. Great food great service great view
Awesome place ! I loved it! Their boba drinks especially their (mango, and watermelon) highly recommend
The setting on the beach is beautiful. The food is expensive and mediocre
Came here with family for a special birthday. The ambiance was nice, casual. The view and the grounds were spectacular. Beautiful sunset, beautiful beach with plenty of seating and a small pier. Parking is expensive, but they do validate. The food was okay, not spectacular. Our waiter was great!
Food was great
The restaurant’s food and location is great. Our server wasn’t good. The support staff that helped her was very good and personable. Our server was slow taking our drink order and food order. We had to ask for items multiple times with no apologies from her. She didn’t clear empty plates in a timely manner. We had to ask for refills on drinks and a second round of beers. She seemed flustered. We had a fantastic view and the food was great.
Great place especially in good weather. Portions are huge but food very good. Always a fun experience...
I had no idea where I was going. I was amazed by the sand under my feet, the chairs at the ocean, the views, the food, the Mango drink and the ambience. I live in Newport Beach, but I'll be back!!!
We were in California for a few day, LA then Dana Point. You know, this was the best meal we had the entire trip.
......and a LOT less expensive then the other places.
I get it but I don't have to like the parking charges if you're eating there but as a fun, casual, out-of-the-way place on the water with really good food? Go here.
Valentine’s Day event was lovely. Roses and very nice servers.
Excellent as usual
Very good food and the café is really cosy, also a fantastic location!
The manager and staff were great and very helpful.
The atmosphere and ambience were great. Long wait for a table even with a reservation. However, the server was very nice and really pleasant .
Food was terrible except for the clam chowder. We all had grilled calamari. It was clearly grilled from a frozen state and was not fresh at all. It had no taste. Food was very disappointing.
Family in town
Had a great time, great service and the food was delicious. My wife had lobster, I had steak, both very good. We sat next to a window which is about 50 feet from the ocean ... so nice!!! Had a great time and will definitely go back!!!
Great Atmosphere, nice and relaxed. Reasonable, good food and service.
We were celebrating a friend’s new job. We brought in a surprise dessert and the team was spectacular at making it look beautiful and caring about what we wanted to accomplish. Greg was our waiter. And the manager was also quite kind.
The food, although in very large portions, was essentially tasteless. Their special Clam Chowder was especially tasteless as was their fried Calamari. This restaurant is by the sea and is claimed to be an excellent seafood restaurant. I've had much tastier seafood at Fish n'Chips.
We are traveling in the West and stopped for lunch after hearing such glowing reviews. PCBC is exactly what you would expect for a beach bar; noisy with an emphasis on alcohol and seafood. With so many homeless in Cali, I don’t know how they justify the massive portions. So much food gets waisted.
Beautiful restaurant and perfect for a date!
Food was good. The issue that my wife and I had was with the service. After we got seated; we had to flag a waiter down after 20 minutes . No one came by to introduce themselves as our server. The guy who took his our food/drink order was nice but he wasn’t our server. My wife had a hard time as her starter clam chowder came after we got the main course. She didn’t want it but she felt bad for the guy who brought out the food. The fish and chips that she ordered was a kids size and not a normal size. Our experience is that the service is a hit or miss for us.
We had the iced seafood sampler which was delicious. It would have been a nice touch to include bread or chips for the ceviche. When we asked our waiter if they had chips, he brought us a bowl of mostly broken chips and we were charged $5 for a side of chips. The hot seafood sampler was also very tasty, especially the coconut shrimp, calamari, ribs, and battered fish. There was a large amount of fries as well. My only complaint was that some of the calamari was clumped together into a softball sized ball and there was undercooked calamari and batter which was inedible. Lastly, the key lime pie is more like cheesecake with a very faint hint of lime.
Daughter’s birthday. Service was great
My wife and I went for breakfast/brunch because I wasn't working.
Food was good, but not WOW good, but presentation and quantity can't be beat. Service above average. View and location great. Now have to pay $6.00 WITH validation where as paid nothing last time so costs are higher.
Been there before and will return again.
The view was amazing. You can’t beat the location but the food was greasy and tasteless.
We celebrate all our birthdays there, and feast on the huge slice of birthday cake for the next 3 days
Warm winter southern California afternoon, slightly overcast, eating clam chowder and drinking a glass of wine on the beach at an uncrowded, no-wait Paradise Cove Beach Cafe -- life doesn't get any better!
Service was excellent and very friendly. The beach is really the reason to come and it doesn’t disappoint! Beautiful ocean views and access.
Food was average.
Didn’t acknowledge the celebration
