Paradise Cove Beach Cafe
beautiful setting, amazing little piece of heaven. The seafood platter was outstanding
They should be thankful they are on beach.... Everything else is fair at best. Very expensive
Perfect beach day!
Over priced. Cold food, terrible coffee. Inattentive service. Not to mention 8.00 to park after you spend 70.00 for breakfast. Over rated and I’m not a tourist. Should know better than going to a tourist trap.
Awesome place on the beach. Feels like you’re in Hawaii!
Very rude customer service in the cafe.We were waiting for our order 2 hours. The waiter was rude and mean. Next time definitely I will bring my food with me me.
Ok so it's all about the parking validation and the view, but it would be so much better if the food was better than fair.
been there numerous times everyone was so nice and helpful
Fun family day. The kids enjoyed the beach and we loved the food and view! So beautiful!
Great breakfast spot for special occasions. The pancakes are wonderful, the view fantastic and the coffee comes with whipped cream and a cookie!!
What a fun place! Great atmosphere. Festive bar menu. Very relaxed beach-y place.
Itvwas perfect. Great ambiance great service great weather great food
Not as impressed as I used to be. Never go there on weekend. Crowded and loud
Great location .. worst service ever and food overpriced and bad quality
Made reservation still waited over 20 mins for table food is overpriced not fresh would not come back
I brought some friends who had never been there and they truly love that the food is always delicious my friends had the salmon was the best she ever had I had the spicy corn pasta which was fabulous treated them to two of the watermelon daiquiri’s and it was funny how loopy they got after the one drink! Ha ha ha
No matter the occasion it’s always a great place to go our waitress was fabulous
Reservation was for 6:15 pm but we weren't seated until 7:00 pm.
After being seated it was at least 15 minutes before a server even acknowledged us. 10 minutes later he came back to take our order. My food was overcooked but the server did come to check on us until 20 minutes after dropping off the food. Eventually he returned and his mgr took my meal off the bill. The food was priced high for the quality. You are only paying for the location. Very disappointed as I took my wife here for her birthday.
You come to Paradise Cove for the view. The prices are high for the type of food that you are getting but the portions are large and the view is great.
Beware… Even with the reservation they tell you the wait will be 25 to 30 minutes. Without a reservation she said it was over an hour. So whatever you do go directly to the check-in -which by the way depends on where you want to eat, go inside if you want to eat inside, go around to the side beach area to check in if you want to eat outside. A busy and crowded place for sure.
This is a very nice place, iconic. The good is ok, price probably a little bit too high because of the location. Overall a great moment to spend with family or friends once in a while, and certainly a unique experience for turists.
Beautiful location beautiful beach excellent service and food. The beach fills up quickly so come early
Love coming here and sitting outside!
Your toes are in the sand, you’re right on the beach, and the food is amazing!! Give yourself time to enjoy cocktails beforehand to wait for a good table.
THIS IS THE PLACE YOU DREAM OF when you dream of a dreamy cafè in Malibu
As always - Paradise Cove delivered! Such a wonderful short excursion up the PCH. The food and drinks were spot on followed by a pleasant walk on the beach before driving back to LA. A great time was had by all. A rare slip in the service quality (apps and meal came all at once, multiple requests for drink refills, etc) was the only thing keeping it from being ranked at 5 stars.
Horrible service. Honestly, the worst service I have ever had. Overpriced mediocre food... place felt sticky. Safe yourself the trouble .. don’t go.
Good for dinner after beach activity, awesome ocean view and outdoor diner and relaxed chairs.
Been to Paradise Cove many times before. This time it was not good. The server was terrible. We had a reservation and still waited 50 min for a table. After we had lunch there was no place to even sit on the beach. Way too many people there and not so friendly for the staff. Going downhill!
We've been coming here from Vegas for over 12 years now. We've always ended our trips here, because we could eat a nice breakfast with incredible views. Not anymore. We left our Hotel Suite on Venice Beach, and I have never been so disappointed! The food is nowhere NEAR the quality it used to be, and the Restaurant outside was dirty (not just the normal sand, etc. you would expect); and dead plants were hanging everywhere. I mean, completely dead. Service was slow, and he was less than enthusiastic. We cashed out and went right back to Venice! Extremely sad, this used to be a hidden gem!
Fantastic cocktails! The food portions are HUGE - plan ahead to share. Service was outstanding!
Yes, but with an explanation. The location of the restaurant is unbelievable. Although, we had to wait 1 hour, even though we had a reservation. We had the spicy corn and multiple tacos, both of which were ok- a little bland. The server was very nice, but the hostess and parking attendants make you feel like you are lucky they are even speaking to you. Par for the course on some of the beach restaurants.
Everything was great
We need wait a little bit for the table but wait on the beach is perfect
Our server was amazing, very professional
Food very good, portions very big I suggest one for two
I really recommend it
Our food was not up to par. We have been there before and no problems. My husbands fish and chips soaked in deep fry . Calamari very very chewy. The shrimp with Parmesan cheese could have used a touch of garlic pesto to make it taste better. 3 of us ordered that and we were very disappointed! After that kind of meal I don’t know when I will return . Only thing good was guacamole dip.
Even with a reservation we had to wait 20 min for patio table. Welcome to Malibu on a Saturday!! But wait was worth it..I eat a burger and fries once a year and this was it. Worth the calories, price and wait. Hubby loves the macadamia crusted shrimp. Add 2 hrs on the beach and u have a perfect day!!
Have always loved this place, but prices are rising and food is not as good.
Our server Miller made the night! He was fun and efficient!
The hostesses were rude and surely !!! With reservations they held tables in the front row for guests who walked in.
Martin the manager was also extremely efficient and took care of us and was able to find us a lovely table near the front row.
His co-manager Jeff(John) was like the hostesses rude and obnoxious. We were standing near the table they were preparing for us and he rudely had us move and then move again saying we were blocking the area. He didn’t even bother to listen that we were being seated.
The food was ok. The service was slow, although I wasn’t in a hurry, it would be nice to have at least drink refills in a timely manner. The ambiance was wonderful. Sitting outside was beautiful.
A great place to have a special lunch with a view and cocktails (yes, full bar)! What makes this place great? The location! It's right on the beach, so you've got views. You can also choose to sit at the out door patio with dining on the sand! All the portions of food are HUGE, plan on sharing and having leftovers! The food itself is well prepared. It can get pricey but still a decent value for the quality of food, the location and the excellent service.
Now, a heads up. To park there, there is beach parking, which is $35 for all day. If you validate at the restaurant, its only $8 but for up to 4 hrs (no grace period, after that full day charge, ouch!) Plan accordingly. I recommend reservations even just for a weekday lunch, this place can get very busy. Request a window seat or outdoor seating on your open table reservation!
We ate there thinking if you got ticket validated parking would only be $8.00. First the prices are quite high but we found out the hard way. The validation is only good for up to 4 hours. We ended up paying $35.00 for parking.
Great service but ridiculously expensive for poor tasting food. Wasted $100 on lunch for two. Never again.
