Paradise Cove Beach Cafe
Went on a Sunday for breakfast. Plenty of parking but by the time we left I can see how that can be a concern so plan to be there early or troll for a spot. The server was very pleasant and helpful. Food came fairly quick and was good n plentiful. We sat outside and enjoyed the awesome ocean view and fresh air. After we ate we hung out on the beach for a bit. This will be a place we come a lot for a special treat and for sure for the sunsets!
The first time we have ever come
With no wait. We had the Kobe beef ribs. Soup and salad all very good the first order of the ribs were a little over cooked which never happens the food here is always really good. The manager sent them back and we got a perfect order. Always a good experience here
Food was good, waiter was nice, but we were told it was going to be 25 minutes for a window seat so we took another table that was available. Five minutes later a table was available by the window. We asked to move and were told we couldn’t even though other seats were available. We hadn’t even been served water yet or ordered. I was extremely dissatisfied with our seat and would not go back.
I had the blackened sword fish and snap peas. It was delicious. We had the sourdough bread for an appetizer, it was stale and hard.
Delicious food & drinks! View was amazing!
One of my favorite restaurants. Go every tine I visit my daughter in Cali (At least 2x a year!!!
unbeatable location at reasonable prices. Feet on the sand while dining!!!
Guac was great. Drinks were tasty (could have used a bit more alcohol). Had reservation yet still had to wait 20 minutes, but ambience was a good distraction.
Love going to Paradise Cove. Our experience was great, as usual. Some people complain that they don't get seated right away even if they have a reservation, but that is just policy. You don't have to wait as long with a reservation, so it does make a difference. I don't mind waiting even if I have a reservation because I understand that there are other reservations ahead of me.
Service is always good and the food and drinks are good! Fries are outstanding:)
Enjoyable beach side restaurant, very expensive, pay parking, good food
Great location. Food was very average verging on below average. It didn't sit well after finishing. Cocktails are overpriced. Not what we expected, nor as advertised. And parking with validation was an additional $10
Overpriced food- the plate of nachos were maybe 25 chips under overcooked cheese and beans. I make better Nachos. For $20 a total rip off. The only thing nice was the view. Charging for parking after gouging your patrons for crappy food is ridiculous!
A little pricey, and parking can be challenging, but it is the consummate SoCal beach experience. We brought our friends who live in Boise Idaho. They loved it and we all had a great time.
The food is just ok and very overpriced but what you are paying for is the experience. It is the most beautiful setting in the Los Angeles area.
i have been coming here since the late 60s as a child before they had all the cabanas and beds and such i do how ever think this is an overkill in greed. you used to be able to park next to the beach and walk straight out and sit... i know its about the money but its ruining such a unique place. we know that we can choice other places, but this is a place i have come to since i was a child and the wharf went out with a winch to take you boats into the water... still will come here but now it more like once a year instead of at least 10 xs a year.
A bit pricey but good good in a beautiful setting. Great for special occasions, the celebration chocolate cake is large enough for 8, really. Beware that Paradise Cove parking without eating at the cafe is REALLY expensive ($50 on Weekends).
Such a great day with Family. Beautiful day with a great view.
Took my visitors from out of town to enjoy the California beach, early morning awakening of nature and a delicious breakfast with attentive, friendly service. A lots of food, so hike before not after.
Parking is a joke, $50????
Food was good, not necessarily great, portions good, especially the calamari appetizer. But it was all expensive, you're definitely paying for the location on the water's edge. Recommend wearing sandals when going as "outside" dining was in the sand, which is not a complaint.
Loved it! The food portions were huge and all of the food was delicious. Loved the outdoor seating in the sand, definitely going back!
Great place to enjoy company of friends. I have done this several times over the years and have never disappointed. I was hoping for breakfast, but found that this ceases at 11AM. Oh well. Still good. The bread pudding was outstanding!!
An iconic restaurant, huge portions and great drinks. It's kind of dirty though and the service was a little spotty - must have been between shifts. It is a place you should check out though, similar to Duke's.
Can't beat the location!! The food is good, a bit on the pricey side. Went for breakfast and my favorite part was that they brought out whipped cream for our coffee!
Large portions, delicious food and beautiful views in a casual, seaside restaurant. Loved it!
Your restaurant is absolutely amazing. My girl and I sat outside in the sand and it was incredible. I have
lived in the area for almost 40 years and have never been to Paradise Cove. Her and I will for sure be back.
Our server was astounding, the views were phenomenal, and we found everything to be fairly priced.
Casual dining. Very large portions. Right on the ocean.
It was a Tuesday Lunch but we waited about 45 mins after ordering for our food. Some of the chips came with the guac were not fried enough, they were mushy. Other than that our server was great the ambience is great our 16 mo had so much fun at the beach! Will definitely go back ☺️
Mu husband and I shared the hot sampler platter. Everything was very good except for the calamari. It had no taste and was rubbery. Also the dipping sauces were not very flavorful. We loved being able to take a glass of wine after lunch to watch the waves
This place used to be paradise... today it became a cash cow... such a shame in such a wonderful area.
It feels like you would have to pay for a smile...
Came here several times, based on our last experience, it’s now game over
I’ve been coming here since I was a child. It was the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Not exaggerating!!!
Amazing food, beautiful location on the beach, and a great experience all around! Highly recommend the cold and the hot seafood platters! We were able to eat lunch and hang out on the beach for a few hours without parking going up in price ($10 with validation if under 4 hours). We'll be back for sure!
Great birthday celebration with our wonderful son.
The proximity to the beach is everything. Not a great menu, and sort of grouchy service, but it's worth it.
Très bien au bord de l’eau bonne cuisine très bon service
Paradise Cove is one of my favorite places to go whenever I’m in the L.A. area. My grandkids enjoyed the beach while the adults enjoyed chatting and watching kids play. Restaurant is very family friendly, food is delicious. Servings are large including kids meals. Kids meals are a little overpriced. Friendly staff. Service was good but not at the fault of the server. He had too many tables to take care of and did his best to accommodate and keep everyone happy. I saw well-behaved leashed dogs with their owners on the beachside of the restaurant but not in the eating area. Watch the seagulls if you sit closest to beach. They are not shy about stealing a fry or two. All in all our visit was wonderful. Any day at the Paradise Cove Cafe and Beach is a Great Day!
This time at paradise cove was a deal breaker. I’m not likely to return again. We had to ask the waiter repeatedly to bring certain items. The food is vastly overpriced and not particularly good. Cocktails were weak and small. Even the free birthday cake they was dry. There was nothing good about this meal other than the view out the window.
It’s always amazing at Paradise Cove. It’s the perfect spot in Malibu. Their chiliquiles are the best we ever had. We loved their Pasta straws as well.
Overall our experience is a 5 star. Except for one male caucasian waiter who we asked if he can take our picture. He answered not so happy “ok i will be back” then never came back. Not that its important, maybe hes having a bad day. But overall im recommending this place.
