Paradise Cove Beach Cafe is a delightful treat for visitors and residents of Malibu. Located at the beautiful Paradise Cove Pier, they offer breathtaking views, incredible service, delicious food and a casual atmosphere.

A reservation at the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe does not hold you a table but puts your party on a priority waitlist. Guests with reservations could potentially wait up to 1 hour with the reservation, depending on how busy it is. Reservations may check-in 20 minutes before their reservation time so we can start preparing your table. In the meantime guests may enjoy the beach and get some drinks and appetizers from our to-go shop. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these strange times.

We went for my wife's birthday, and splurged a little and had the seafood tower.
The food was fabulous until we got to the Lobster. This was very disappointing. the tail was tough, and I believe it was overcooked. We did mention it to the waitress and I believe the manager came over and offered us another one in its place. The dish actually contained 2 I believe, but one was OK as there was a lot of food.
The replacement wasn't much better, a little, but no much, so I do not know if it was the type of Lobster, the age, or the cooking. You know all the seafood was fresh as there was no "Fishy" smell at all.

I would recommend this dish to any serious seafood eater, but maybe get the smaller one , (without the lobster), and supplement it with additional dishes. (save a boatload of money too).

After consuming their famous clam chowder soup and nachos, I came down with the worst case of stomach poisoning I've ever had.

The service was good. Our calamari's first impression was huge, but it was mostly French fries on the bottom. The calamari looks crispy and it was. It looks good, but it smelled bad and meat was freezer burned. The pineapple cocktail doesn't have any flowers, slice of oranges, but pasta.
Good for the location, but don't expect your food what you paid for.
Ice tea was good😀

Outstanding location. Outdoor sitting is refreshing for ocean lovers. Hostesses are very good and helpful. They honor reservation immediately. Food menu is very good , it provides almost anything that a person wants. Large variety of drinks including their own creation are offered. The food and surroundings resembles Mediterian setting. Servers are good and friendly. The serving process is kind of slow for guests that cannot kill a lot of time, but for guests that want to relax, talk with friends and enjoy their evening at a beach setting is ideal. There is no rush to vacate the table, you are allowed to stay as long as you wish.

A little pricey, $32 for fish and chips, $18 for a bowl of clam chowder. Over all it still was a very good atmosphere and great service.

The process was seamless with a reservation.
The hostess was completely accommodating when we requested a smaller table for our party, and moved us straight away.
I can’t imagine a better view for a restaurant!
I will be returning for sure.

Thanks!

It was a quiet Thursday night. Still the food was fresh and delicious. As an entrée, I ordered a bread bowl of their clam chowder. The soup is brought to your table hot hot kettle. And it’s really too much for one person to eat. Just a great clam chowder, worthy of a trip to paradise cove By itself. My girlfriend had the salmon blackened. She loved it. Not the best beach food in the world. But wholesome and the view and ambience is worth the price of admission

Love the ocean front vibe at Paradise Cove. Food is good too. This time I ordered the Blackened Swordfish Sandwich, it is definitely one of my favorite lunch items on the menu; it is full of flavor.

When I'm told if I spend $30 I get my parking VALIDATED I don't expect to pay $8 for parking, I expect my parking to be FREE. Charging $35 for parking and then when you spend $30 you get it "Discounted" to $8 is ridiculous. Oh by the way with dinner, drinks and tip I spent $130! I chose not to have the clam bake which by itself was $180. Price of food aside (and I'm not saying it wasn't warranted the food that is) but the combo of validating my parking DOWN to $8 when I spent $130 ?? C'mon!

Nightmare in the middle of the day !!! (2+2) We waited 30min to be seated (with reservation), 10 min to get the waiter attention, 50min later to get the food but guess what, we didn't have the tableware to eat the food with - I asked the waiter that served us the food to bring some, and he never did, we waited 10 more min to our waiter to come again - she came without the tableware - I asked to call the manager since the food was already cold, he came and apologized and ask if we like to replace the food with a warm one, we asked to replace the pasta, instead of creating new one they put it in the microwave and 2min from the time we returned it, it was back on the table, I asked the waiter if it got warmed and she said no it's new - no one can prepare a new pasta in 2min !!! We asked to return the other dish (shrimp taco) because it also got cold but not a new one. We asked for the check. The check came back with the charge of the taco. I asked the waiter to take it out. She went to the manager who said he was sorry but couldn't - we paid the check and got out of this horrible place. I am sure the guy that approached us as the manager was not the manager of this place. If he was, then he should be a shame, your great location doesn't give you the privilege to give this kind of service and food to your guests, and I hope that those who will read my review will save themselves from humiliation by not coming to this place.

The view! The massive breakfasts! The sea salt spray in the air! The birds and the cliffs and the surfers!
Get to this restaurant early and often for a magical breakfast experience on the sand. Great food, astounding view and extremely thoughtful and professional service. Fantastic experience!

The restaurant was half empty yet they kept telling
Everyone that there was a two hour wait. Once seated
Out waiter greeted us and left a glass of water. We tried to order the SheCrab soup which they were out of. Then tried to order the Kobe ribs again out of those too. The manager finally served my husband his clam chowder. Still no refills
On our water. Yet the waiter has looked at the empty glasses as he passes by several times. Even stops to say our food would be out soon, still no refills. The food took almost thirty mins to get to our table when it arrived it was coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi. 5 shrimp per meal and tons and tons of french fries and rice. No one cleared even our soup and salad plates till we were said we need the bill which we had to ask twice for. This is sad we have enjoyed this restaurant for many many years. About to rethink coming back. Oh and now your only allowed 1 menu per table. For the prices the value isn’t there any more and the service sucked.

They were unable to make most drinks, as they were out of Pineapple juice. Huh? How is that even possible? No drinks?

We ordered soups to start, but our main entree came out first, so we ended up canceling the soups.

Restaurant was basically empty. We were unable to get reservations before 8:00 PM. At that time, there is no point being near the water, as it's pitch black outside.

OK if your looking for view worth a million dollars this is the spot but if your wanting good food and drinks with it, it definitely is NOT. The food is horrible and tasteless. Plus they never have the drink I want. They're always out of everything and it is so annoying. I love Malibu but this spot is only for the nice location and nothing else.
