We are a 50-seat neighborhood restaurant that serves traditional Korean cuisine. Please understand although we strive to serve food and beverages with distinction we are still a small independent family run restaurant. No smoke and mirrors here. Just food from the heart. Our space is limited and our staff is small. We believe that we have the ability and resources to make all of our guests happy while dining in our "home" (as we see it). It can get loud in here when we are full but we believe this adds to the convivial atmosphere we provide. We are always happy here and this shows in the spirit of our restaurant. We look forward to serving you with all of our hearts and a smile!

Our sister restaurant, Wherewithall, is right down the street so feel free to walk over for a pre-dinner snack or a post-dinner drink!

    I miss the old menu. I do not like the new traditional direction that the chef's have taken. The new menu lacks uniqueness.

    I will expect better experience for michelin stared restaurant. The menu selections is very limited. Overall, I feel the price is high compared to the quality of food. Adding 20% service charge and expect more gratuity, with long explanation the charge offers employee higher wage and health insurance, left bad and greedy taste in this establishment.

    It was fine. The food was flavorful but incredibly expensive and the space was very sparse. I don’t think it was Michelin level, which it was hyped for. It is unfortunate that they felt the need to spell out there was a service charge and that on top of very expensive food we would be paying it and that it was not a gratuity and that we should probably give a gratuity as well. I’m glad the servers are getting paid better than most restaurants, but you price that into your food - not into a “service charge” that you seem to think makes you look like a better employer.

    Really tough. Wanted to love it, but we ordered 4 dishes and our waiter messed up 3 of them sending 3 incorrect dishes over when we had already waited an hour. It took 2 hours to be served 3 things. We were also shocked at the price of $166 for 4 items. Waiter did not apologize for messing up our dinner orders even though we repeated our order 3 times when he took it. On the whole I love a concept of fewer menu items to select from. Would not recommend this place to anyone—at one point my date mimed eating food on our empty plate because it had been an hour since we were served anything.

    We remembered parachute fondly from pre pandemic days but the quality is no longer the same. Very small menu that is over priced and not worth the $400 price tag for 3 people And 3 cocktails.

    I had a very good experience here the first time. This time, the food was really lacking. The brisket kimchi soup was bland and the dessert, though pretty, was absolutely devoid of flavor. It had about 7 different things going on and I couldn't taste any one of them, partly owing to the mound of tasteless shaved ice on top of it. The rest of the food was excellent, including the whelks salad and the seafood pancake (thought it's very greasy). The mackerel was superb. If this were a $75 per couple Korean place, I'd say pretty good meal. But it's easily $250 a couple and one of us doesn't drink. So 2 out of 5 dishes being subpar is unacceptable. The service was very good. though when I told the server the dessert had no taste, her response was unsatisfactory. I mean, the dessert if $16, so take it off the check.

    it’s my wife’s bday week and we were at an event nearby so were pleasantly surprised to find reservations were available. we were hoping for bing bread but quickly forgot about it when we were seated at the bar and watched all of our magical meal and drinks prepared in front of us. what a great night!

    Amazing Korean food with awesome service. Surprisingly very family friendly, we were able to have our 3 year old and 11 month old there with us for dinner without any issues and great service from the staff.
