Pappas Restaurant - Parkville Ratings and Reviews
My Husband and I have been to Papas in Glen Burnie awhile back. Since we have moved to the area, we decided to have dinner at the Parkville Location. It was his Birthday and we both wanted to eat at Papas. We really enjoyed ourselves, and we will return very soon. I can still taste my crab cake. See you soon! Angelal
The service and food was great. I was uncomfortable sitting so close to the other table. There is not enough walking space for waiters and customers. You should consider cutting out some tables in order to give more comfortable walking space. If I had to use a walker or wheelchair this restaurant would not be my chose for dinning.
Been to Pappas in Glen Burnie and this one seemed sub par. Wanted onions and mushrooms on my steak-received that along with gravy and peppers. Yuk. Stuffed orange roughy wasn’t stuffed but more like set on the side and mushy. Seafood platter was a joke. So small. Chicken cheasapeake was weird. We usually post Photos’s on Facebook but didn’t even do that. Would not go back. Waitress was friendly tho.
I made the reservation online with open table and the restaurant told me since I did not too long ago they could only seat me in a certain area. And I had to be out by 7pm no matter what. I asked if that was the case why did you take my reservation? And they could not give me an answer!!!!
A very good classic Baltimore restaurant. Highly recommend the seafood. Well known for their crab cakes. The stuffed Rockfish is excellent. The Pappas Pale Ale is a great choice of a microbrew. Old fashioned Baltimore restaurant that has a variety cracker basket with butter on the table when you are seated. They then bring a relish bowl with raw veggies and marinated cucumbers to munch in. Wait staff are very attentive and helpful with any menu questions. Would like to see a little more variety in side dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant.
There were 8 of us for dinner on Christmas Eve. We made reservations and were seated within 10 minutes of our entire party arriving. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Everyone’s meal was very good. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were fresh and a reasonable size.
Overall we were very pleased.
We have been coming here for the last year, have have amazing service and the best food!! It was Xmas eve and I brought my father here, he loved the crab cakes but my meal was the worst I gave ever had, I could not even eat it, not one time did anyone ask how the food was and when it came time to take my plate I wasn't even asked why I did not eat it.
I know it was a busy night but our waitress was horrible. It was a sad moment at Papas for us
Went for Christmas Eve dinner with my family and 80 year old parents. We were on the second floor. They did have an elevator that was added to the building, although only big enough for 3.
Food was excellent even though they had a very limited menu for the evening.
