   The crab cakes were overall very good. There were more shells in them than I prefer but they were still good. We ordered steaks as well and they were cooked well done even though we ordered them medium rare. They were horrible. The asparagus was also horrible. The mgmt did give us a gift card to come back however did not adjust the bill at all which I thought was poor customer service. They also remade a steak for us to take home however when we got home, we noticed it wasn’t even the correct type of steak! It was cheaper smaller cut. The service was very subpar. We went without water many times during our meal. Our food took forever to come out and then wasn’t even cooked properly? If you want a good crab cake and are willing to have poor service then you should be ok. I think for the overall experience it isn’t worth it. You can get good crab cakes elsewhere and get a better overall meal.

   Emily our server was excellent- I left my cell phone on the table when we finish and she came running out to give it tome and tried hard tis refuse the $5.00 tip I insisted she take, Also the nice hostess shortnyoung woman walked us to our car with he umbrellas so we did nit get wet-wonderful service and great crab cakes

   Always noisy but most restaurants are. Crab cakes not as good, not much lump carb. Cream of crab soup didn't have hardly any crab in it. Baked potato was dry and not hot. That being said we actually have reservations with out of town friends on June 2nd so I hope our meal, at least theirs's is better than ours was last night.

   Had a reservation and still had to wait. Once seated took a while for server to take drink order, and then again for food order. Had to ask for a basket of rolls when we saw other tables getting them. Food took forever to get there, when it did some of it was cold. The asparagus which was an upcharge had no seasoning on it at all. Crab cakes were very good

   The restaurant management cannot handle having an additional location open. Our food took almost an hour and then, all of our sides were cold and wrong. The waitress acted like she didn’t want to be working. The manager did resolve the problem and offer us dessert. He acknowledged that the kitchen was failing. Unfortunately, he should have been back there helping them instead of having to deal with complaints about wrong orders. We have never have had any issues with this restaurant in the past.

    Mother's Day Meal This restaurant was VERY crowded. There was a line out the door to be seated. The food was excellent, but the service was slow. We did not mind that as it gave us extra time to talk to our friends. We had to ask for bread and more drinks. Our server was very polite but seemed young and inexperienced. They probably should manage their reservations better for the next popular event.

    Sea bass was dry. The sauce wasn’t good. My baked potato under cooked. Everyone asparagus was over cooked. The limited options for Mother’s Day was nice but should of offered another vegetable table it booking asparagus correctly on a busy day is difficult. Other than that everyone was satisfied with there meal for the most part. The crab cake was good as always.

    Made reservations for Mothers Day and it was never communicated nor listed that there was a specialized menu for Mothers Day. If you are used to the normal Pappas menu along with the cucumber appetizer don’t count on it. In addition you couldn’t get a bowl of soup, only a cup. They limited the side choices to only one green vegetable and then wanted to charge an upcharge. Manager was very passive aggressive and really did not care about the issues. Used to go there often. Definitely crossing it off the list due to the lack of concern or communication on an important holiday.

Since we do understand this an important holiday, that is why we need to limit what our regular customers are used to. As you know, Pappas has a very large menu, and if we tried to execute that on a holiday with over 1,200 customers, we would not be successful.     First time visiting; on Mother's Day, no less. Super-crowded & busy but we had a really kind waiter from the bar who took great care of us. Crabcake is what they're known for and it was definitely a good one - mostly crab/barely any filler. Prices for these beauts, IMO, run a bit high especially during lunch/brunchtime but may have been special "honor mom" pricing :) I enjoyed my sides and boozy drink, made the experience happier. I'll go back, when in the area, hopefully on a less-crazy day :)

    Carol was our server, great service. Two in our party can not have gluten, one having celiac. Carol was attentive to our needs and understood the seriousness of our request for gluten free items. Their GF menu had many selections and I’m happy to say the gluten free items were indeed gluten free. No illness later that night. The food was fantastic and the price reasonable for the entrees. We had the crab cake and filet. Would definitely recommend for GF and nonGF.

    The turkey club was very good, and took half home for another meal. Thr wife's crab cake was excellent. Only complaint being the cream of crab soup was thin in texture and warm to the taste. Should have sent back for microwaving.

    We love Pappas and dine there frequently. This time when we arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time, we were told by the front that it would be a 20 minute wait to be seated. Others with reservations were told the same. That’s never happened to me here! I asked for a manager and she was a bit condescending and pointed to her watch and said it’s not 6:30 yet- it was 6:28. She didn’t apologize and she did seat us a few minutes after that because I complained. Then she never checked on us, which she should have. We make reservations so that we don’t have Theo wait 20 minutes- take less reservations if you’re overbooking!

    All of the food is excellent. Most in our party of seven had crab cakes, which were incredible. Another had the lamb chops , which were tender, tasty and juicy. The cheesesteak sandwich was excellent as well. Service good as well. Definitely recommended and will return here in my future visits to Baltimore.

    Marley was wonderful. A little confusion this time with the reservation. I printed out the confirmation and when we got there they didn't have anything on us, though I showed them the printed confirmation. No problem, though, we were seated immediately and once again treated to a magnificent dining.t experience. Great service by Marley our server!

    Five of us had dinner on a busy Saturday night. We were a little late being seated but once seated, the service was outstanding. The food was amazing as always. We all had single crab cake dinners. The crab cakes never disappoint!

    Food and selection was great. Server did a good job - he disappeared for a while but once he came back he did fine. Think his other tables in another room took more time than expected. Room we were in was nice but once crowded it became very noisy. Bare walls just bounce sound and so conversations were difficult. Would I go back - absolutely. I would just choose a different time- we were there at 6 pm.. but for great food and prices you must go to Pappas.
