Great food as always. Sat outside and loved the ambiance since it is in a bustling shopping center where I got to people watch as well! Definitely a go to!

Great family meal at Pappas'. Everyone was thrilled with their food - the birthday girl was disappointed that her favorite dish Chicken Madrilena was removed from the menu - but she enjoyed her entree. Our server was excellent - on it for everything - refills, requests, he was there!

This was the first time that we have eaten out in over a year. We chose Pappas because it is our favorite restaurant. We live in Bel Air, MD so it isn’t very convenient for us but it is well worth the drive. The atmosphere and the food are top notch.

We will keep coming back for not just ourselves but for important family celebrations as well.

As usual, Pappas in Cockeysville was excellent in all ways. Two of us had crab cakes. Mine was the gluten-free type, and it was excellent. Our third person had the ribs, which I tasted and found also to be quite good. My mother had the Mrs. Posey’s cheesecake, which she enjoyed immensely.

We dined at Pappas Cockeysville on Easter Sunday. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Everything went very smoothly even with COVID-19 protocols in place. Our server was wonderful. The food was outstanding as usual. A very enjoyable Easter dinner all around.

At some point Pappas will be back up to full capacity. For now there is sufficient social distancing to be comfortable. They always try to accommodate my reservation requests in the bar, and succeeded this time as well. We received attentive service from Hannah. Food service was from Tim and Charla, and our regular servers Chuck and Justin said hello on the way by to help other customers. So friendly staff, good food, acceptable prices for the quality of the food and every effort is made to keep clients safe and satisfied. While writing this glowing review may increase the attendance at Pappas and make it harder for me to get a table, you really can't go wrong with dining here. You won't be disappointed.

Food always consistent. Service was good. Fewer people but still noisy.

Everything is great but just takes a little too long for the food to reach the table. I have seen that on many visits to Pappas. Probably 40 minutes from order to the food coming out. But food is great and people there are very helpful and courteous.

I always enjoy dining at Pappas'. Food is always delicious from appetizers to entrees. We never have room for dessert so I cannot rate that, but I would bet that is good!! I will keep going there weekly!!!

Pappas is always a great place to dine when we are in town - undeniably great food and predictable good service!

As usual the seafood was outstanding. The usual lunch special of crab cake, cup of soup, two sides and drink is a good value.

My wife and I ate here on the 31st of March and again on the 1st of April; the second time with her brother.

In both cases, the food was very good to excellent; the ambiance was very nice; and the servers were polite. However, in both cases, the servers made significant errors with the food. On the 31st, my wife was served the wrong entree. On the 1st, neither appetizer ordered ever made it to the table. Perhaps we were just unlucky; perhaps there is a server training problem in the restaurant. (A lemonade was also refilled with ginger ale).

Would I eat here again? Absolutely! One of the best crab cakes I've ever had. But I would also carefully check my order and my check.

We went for our 54 wedding anniversary the food was great the service was great the best part was having to be able to order a diabetic dessert they had two of them most restaurants have none so for me being diabetic it was the best part of the whole thing which makes them the smartest restaurant people I know

We were seated right on time and greeted promptly. Our server was very attentive. Our only disappointment was that fried oysters were still listed on the menu but are not currently being served.

Little more crowded and louder than in recent months now that some of the restrictions have been lifted. Still attentive service and great food. Making the reservation on OpenTable assured us a high top in the bar as requested.

Excellent meal and service.

I ordered the chilean sea bass special. The sauce that was on it was horrible and the presentation could have veen better. My husband had the seafood pasta and that was delicious. The buffalo wings, salads and cream of crab soup were all good. The service was excellent. Our waiter and others would stop by to make sure we were good/needed anything. We will definitely go back.

Very busy with many dining rooms. Social distancing was observed. Service was fine. Salmon was pretty but quite rare.

Cream of crab lacked substance. Maryland crab mostly vegetables. Crab cakes lacked taste. Prime rib low in flavor.

What more can I say other than fabulous. It's good getting back out to eat in a restaurant again. This was our first time in over 9 months and it was a great experience.

Great food and service. I would return in the future and recommend to others.

I think it is impossible to have a meal here that isn't outstanding.

There were five of us---4 adults and one 8 year old. We ordered calamari for starters and they were excellent, although there is never quite enough marinara sauce to last for the number of calamari. Two adults ordered crabcake with fries & cole slaw. They said crab cakes were excellent. I ordered scallops w/sweet potato french fries and cole slaw. All were excellent. Pappas' coleslaw is very good---almost as good as that of Friendly Farms. which in my opinion is the best ever. The other adult ordered spaghetti with meatballs. He said the noodles had been warmed over a bit too long and were somewhat tough. And he was very disappointed to find that the meatballs were soy. There's no excuse for a restaurant of Pappas' caliber to use soy meatballs!! He was quite disappointed. Our waitress was excellent and checked on us periodically.
Overall, Pappas is great---will go back again!

Our waitress Carole was awesome. She had everything we needed before we could ask. The food did not disappoint us it was amazing! Even with pandemic they managed to be safe. Can’t wait to return.

It's been awhile since we've been to Pappas due mainly to the pandemic. It was a pleasure coming back to see that the restaurant was busy. The food was great as usual. We thoroughly enjoyed returning.

Have eaten many times there. Always great food. Wait staff is always polite and very pleasant. Well worth the trip.
