Wonderful staff and delicious food!
The ribeye here is always amazing but tonight my husband tried the wagyu steak. At $25/oz and 6 oz minimum, it is certainly not a bargain. However, it was mind-blowing. I am talking melt in your mouth, savor the two measly bites he shared with me, delicious. I highly recommend it. Our waitress was a doll and service was impeccable.
Great food, wine, atmosphere and waiter. Would definitely attend again.
We checked in on time for our reservation and had a brief wait of maybe ten minutes before being taken to our table. We ate in the wine room which could have doubled as a meat locker it was so cold. But we were able to snag a nice manager who bumped it up a couple of degrees for us and got my mother a little shawl for her shoulders which was very nice. When the food began to arrive it was all nicely prepared and presented well. Everything tasted amazing! Now they did give two people at my table the amazing lobster bisque with no spoons, so that was a major 90 second tease till we could flag someone down. But overall, minus the semi-strange location. This place is a winner and worth the drive.
The food was adequate and par for the course for a restaurant of its type. Unfortunately, one of the steaks were not properly cooked, shells were present in the Lobster bisque and crab meat, and the service was on par with that of a Texas Roadhouse. An ok steakhouse way over priced and in need of proper training.
As always the dinner was absolutely wonderful. The lettuce wedge is delicious, as were the onion rings and baked potato. The steaks are always the best, so far exceeding the taste and presentation of any other steak house or restaurant. We ended with a piece of the absolute best pecan pie ever! Pappas Bros is our favorite!!!
It was my wife and I’s anniversary and it was excellent! I had a special request for an item they don’t carry and they went above and beyond to make sure we had it for our special day. Always an excellent meal and time at Papas bros. Highly recommend the experience.
The steak was not cooked on a grill, lacked flavor and was just disappointing. The mushrooms were hard to chew and we only ate a couple of them. The drinks were good, the salad was good and the lobster mac and cheese was great. I just figured a $99 steak would be more flavorful, more tender, more phenomenal. It was just okay. Our bill was adjusted because we weren't happy, but it was a disappointing dinner for our 25th anniversary.
Saturday, 14 Sep 19, was our first visit to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious food. We only eat well-done steak and our steaks were juicy and tender. Kudos to the chef. Our server, Gehrig, was totally awesome and he helped to make our date night, a night to remember. Thank you, Gehrig!
The steak was soo flavorful. The potato’s Agustin was soo delish.
Absolutely wonderful meal! I would recommend anyone go here!
What an incredible experience. Perfect 10's all around. Highly recommend!
The wait staff was amazing!! Created an overall excellent experience. Food was delicious. I highly recommend using their wine experts to help choose the right wine for you. He was perfect for the job!!
It has a great reputation for a reason! The creamed spinach has Canadian bacon in it, which didn’t add much to the dish. Else steaks, sides, and wines were great!
Steaks were immaculately cooked. Also easily one of the best old fashioneds I’ve ever had.
Amazing Food, please open one in Los Angeles 🙏
The Restaurant is amazing!!
The ribeye stake was really saulty.
The crab soup was great.
We loved our dinner at Pappas. James was our waiter, and he did a fantastic job. Everything we ordered was so good and did not disappoint!
Our early dinner was exceptional - we were back in Dallas & HAD to go to Papa's - it was well worth it! Papa's has been a favorite for 20+ years and is still 1 of the 2 premier Steakhouses in Dallas. Everything was terrific - service, hospitality, menu, steaks, and desert!!
When back in Dallas we will definitely go again!!
Gina Coleman birthday!
As always, exceptional service, steaks and wine. The selection of wines at Pappas is always above and beyond what you could ever expect!
excellent birthday dinner, from the food to the waiter and the company. i'll be going back as soon as possible.
One of the best steakhouses I have been to. They have an amazing wine list.
Travelled to Dallas for the Cowboys game, and made s reservation here based on multiple reviews. It did not disappoint! Service was outstanding, food was exceptional in every regard. Of particular mention was the sommelier Simon, who was both incredibly knowledgeable and friendly while recommending a wine that we loved and came in under budget. Can’t wait to return.
I travel all over the country and this is by far the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Cooked perfectly to temp!
Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend
Excellent! I see why they are ranked #1 in the DFW. Service and the quality and taste was awesome. Will definitely be back!
Best cheesecake I ever had in my life! Service was impeccable! I have paid much more and food was not as good. My ribeye melted in my mouth! I love fine dining and will definitely return!
Celebrated our 50th anniversary with our favorite steaks. Good food, good service👍👍👍
Thr customer service was AWESOME!! My wife and I celebrated our 26 Wedding Anniversary there. This was our 1st time attending Papa Bro. We differently will be going back. The steaks where cook to our liking and perfect. Oh and the New York Cheesecake was fabulous!! Thank you again.
Everything was divine at this iconic steak house. What a great experience !
Waitress Sonia was quiet and unsociable
Hands down, the best customer service!
I recommend this as a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
The crab cakes are awesome and maybe the best in Dallas.
Looking forward to our next visit!
Best steakhouse in Dallas! Service was excellent. I requested a table next to a window when I made my reservation and also noted it was our anniversary dinner and extra special because one of very few dinners lately without the kiddos. They made sure to with us a happy anniversary and welcome to stay as long as we like to enjoy our time together alone.
My wife and I have somewhat different taste in wine, but he sommelier made sure he found something that wife would like, but I would also enjoy and hold up to a prime ribey. He found a nice Red Zinfandel that fit our needs and wine budget.
Overall just a wonderful and memorable dinner.
The food and service was outstanding. Will go again
loved for sure will come back. service was exceptional. Thank you
Mine and my girlfriend’s second time dining here. So perfect! Henry was our server this time, and he was brilliant! I appreciate his and everyone’s service that evening. I can’t wait to come back. I even got a call back and a voicemail making sure everything went as planned during our visit. Thank-you Pappas!!
our waiter was very knowledgeable & patient about answering our questions in reference to the menu. his suggestions on food selections were greatly appreciated. ambiance was great, a little noisy for our romantic dinner but, all in all a great experience.
We had a spectacular anniversary dinner at Pappas Bros. When making the reservation we mentioned that it was an anniversary dinner and it was clear that every employee who interacted with us was aware that this was a special occasion. We were wished a happy anniversary by each employee, and our service was 2nd to none.
The wine selection is possibly the best I've ever seen. The sommelier was extremely helpful and was clearly a professional.
Service was perfect; not intrusive, but we never had an empty glass or a crumb on the table.
We both had steaks: a filet, and wagyu. The filet was outstanding. The wagyu has forever ruined steak for me. It was the best steak I've had in my life. Desserts were incredible, and were very large (probably meant to be shared, but we didn't!)
The only possible fault I could find in my dining experience was it was very dark. Fine dining is typically dark, but this bordered on too dark. The only reason why I mention this is because the review is so gushing I feel I need to state something just to avoid looking like Pappas Bros wrote their own review!
Also, valet parking is available. However, unlike many fine restaurants in the DFW area they do not force you to use the valet parking. There's nothing I hate worse than a restaurant that forces you into valet parking!
You will not be disappointed by your experience.
The steaks were fantastic as ever!!! And the key lime pie was divine!
