Barb is the best!
Always very consistent, great food and terrific service. Would recommend it to anyone who is a steak lover.
It was a surprise birthday dinner for my aunts 70th birthday. All was good except noise level and where we were seated, the price of food is outrageous but our waitress and the hostesses were great!
The best steak house in Dallas.
On the pricey side but worth the experience.
I took my mom here to celebrate her birthday. They came highly recommended and DID NOT disappoint! From the atmosphere, the service, the food- was AMAZING.
Stephanie was amazing!!!! This was our first visit to Pappas and it exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be making this a regular night out for us.
Incredible experience with my family that we will remember forever!
Superb service and an exceptional dining experience.
We opted to eat dinner in the bar. Cynthia (a longtime employee) gave us phenomenal service. Food was excellent. Manager was super cool. Pianist was great. Overall fantastic experience.
Fantastic food. best steakhouse in Dallas. By far!!! Crazy high prices, but I keep going so it must be worth it.
Excellent food and service. The steaks are the beat in town.
Food and service were fantastic. We were sat in a side room that was a bit too cold not to notice. In fact the breeze was so strong the candle couldn’t stay lit. I think the restaurant itself was nice however a group of young guys came in wearing gym shorts and t shirts like they came off the golf course. They were at the other end of the room yet were so loud you could hear them w no issues. Wouldn’t mind seeing a pants and collared shirt requirement. Wine, dinner, salad, 2 sides and 2 desserts set me back $350. Having a dress code doesn’t seem unreasonable.
We celebrated a birthday here for the first time. The ambiance was amazing just as much as the food was. We certainly will be returning.
Best steak I have had in years, a wow! Service was great, a little noisy
This was the absolutely beat Birthday maybe I’ve ever had, and I just turned 65 today! Perfection!
One stake was undercooked an the other one was overcook, side dishes where just ok and there was a$10 up charge for a substitution.
Incredible food and service!!
Great dining experience
Joshua our waiter performed very well, in absence of our regular, Luis. The food was delicious, the wine even better. Customers for life, thank you Pappas!
It was a Saturday night, so yes it was busy but I have been to other locations that were busy and the crowd was managed better. We waited for over an hour for our food. I ordered shrimp cocktail and my order took the longest to arrive. The manager was truly amazing though. I would recommend going during a non-busy timeframe. We did changed servers, we ended up with an amazing server, it just was not the best experience for my first time.
I may try it again during a time when it isn’t busy and that is only because of how well the manager handled the entire situation. He came over proactively. I was very impressed with that.
Loved the atmosphere. It was really busy so our waiter wasn’t as attentive as I would have liked but still an overall good time. I didn’t enjoy my food at all so I didn’t eat but a couple of bites. I ordered lamb chops (they’re small) and the lobster mac and cheese. My friend enjoyed her food. She had steak and potato. I’m not sure who it was that came to the table but our waiter told someone I didn’t like my food and when the bill came he apologized and removed them from my bill without me asking. I was going to pay for it but I really appreciated it and for that I will be back but will be trying something different on the menu.
Excellent food and service as usual
Casey was awesome! She treats us like family and royalty!
Best steak in town. Never disappointed. Service is spot on. Love the ambiance you feel you are in a steak house
Best place in Texas
I have food allergies and I appreciate that the manager comes over and ensures that my food will not contain the allergens. The staff is very attentive and makes sure your experience is outstanding. The food is delicious and the wine list is extensive.
Vanessa was our server and she was great. Excellent service and her recommendations were greet!
Best ribeye that I’ve ever had. Service was great. Food was great!
Only things that need improvement would be to; serve ice with the water and provide a little better lighting for those of us with old and tired eyes
Outstanding service and food as usual
Service from bar very slow. Was billed for a $20 drink we did not order. Food excellent, service very average.
Best RibEye in town.
Serena style "potatoes au gratin with fresh jalapeños" recommendation was a new twist to our Pappas visit. Loved them.
Food, service, ambiance, everything was perfect!
The steaks were awesome. Potatoes Augratin were too soupy. Great special Old Fashioned and good Spinach.
We celebrated the OU Texas game at Pappas Brothers for the 14th time.. Food was outstanding. Steak, perfect. Gooey pecan pie, life changing. We all had a wonderful time. Thanks Pappas!
I enjoyed my dinner at Pappa Bros. My only disappointment is the size of the double lamb chops are smaller than usual.
Food and service was amazing. We went for our anniversary and both got steaks along with the Caesar salad and au gratin potatoes. My boyfriend loves the peppercorn steak but honestly my favorite was the salad. Server was very personable and polite. My only complaint is that the lack of a dress code. People are there in flip flops and a tee. Sort of puts a dent in the ambiance. Also the prices have really skyrocketed over the past year.
Waiter was not very good
It was my daughters 21st Bday. I had a wine saved for this special occasion for years. I flew out to meet her from California was excited to finally open it and cherish it with her. However, this restaurant doesn’t allow you to bring in your own bottles. I’m like what are you talking about. This policy is so old they need to catch up with the times. I highly doubt it’s a policy related to their liquor license as fellow Texans in our group say they have never heard of such a thing. They do however have an impressive wine list. The waitress, Somm, and all the rest of the service tram were incredible. I would definitely go back for the service and food; however not for a special occasion that you have a special wine that you brought….as they won’t allow it. :((
Wonderful food and service, but everything is very expensive.
